You can use the custom ad-spots to achieve that. The file that must be edited it’s the one which generate the header. That depends by the header style used: http://screencast.com/t/UGqIID8VFO

I have disabled plugins and it did not fix it.
It is just random as to when it shows and does not.
I have updated the other thread as that is my biggest issue at the moment.

Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option for infinite scrolling for posts, sorry! You can try to find some plugins with this functionality and try to check how it works for you and also, please notice that we cannot offer support for untested plugins. Another alternative for you would be to hire a freelancer/developer to implement this for you because we cannot provide custom services at the moment, sorry!
I have added this suggestion in our todo list but we cannot say for sure that we improve the theme with this new feature in our update, but we will consider this in our updates.

The database will contain your posts, pages, categories, sidebars, theme panel settings and any custom code you use in the theme panel. You will not lose any information when updating.
Customization however will not be saved. And by customization i mean altering of the theme files. For that you will have to create a child theme, but even that is not safe as if the file you modify will get updated in a future version, you will need to update your child theme as well. The child theme does not provide an update-proof method, it simply delays the customization getting redone on every update but you will have to look in the changelog->modified files for every update to see if your modified file is on the list.

however i am facing an unorthodox issue that in the theme panel in per category settings if i select

and this goes with all my category .
if i disable the top posts grid style then pagination stops works i.e. same posts repeats it self .

I already adjusted the TD block file in WP booster but get this error message:

My sidebars don’t function properly which is killing my woocommerce sales

Newsmag theme does not have implemented the ads system for smart list yet that’s why the indicated ad-spots are missing. We plan to implement the ads for smart lists in future theme updates but meanwhile if you want to use them a solution would be to use do_shortcode function in the file corresponding with the smart-list template used: http://screencast.com/t/ys6OJZXx

In this example I’ve used custom ad 1. If you want to use a different custom ad spot just update the number from shortcode. For example if you use custom ad 4 the shortcode will look like this: custom_ad_4

OK, this is getting really difficult.
Read all the tutorials and followed all the procedures. My current theme is version 6.6.5. Social counter V 3.1.
Emailed you, and you replied with screenshots and same tutorial link. Yes, I have now updated my social counter to version 3.1 and followed the steps on the tutorial. It’s still not working.

It will be included with next theme update once it’s tested as compatible, and not buggy or with security vulnerabilities.
So, on one page, that was updated to to Newspaper 6.6.5 Which I updated yesterday and reinsalled Socialcounter, it took overnight to start working.
On other page, where 6.6.5 is installed for several weeks with the Social counter plugin updated, it doesn’t work. I have reinstalled Social counter today and still nothing.

Unfortunately plugin conflicts are the number 1 reason people have problems with premium themes. This is the case with all premium themes as not all plugins are compatible. If a plugin gets updated and the code changed, it could create a conflict and break your website.
Please deactivate all your plugins except visual composer clear cache and reset cdn if you use it. Please keep in mind that you use the old version of our theme (version 4) and plugin compatibility issues will be more frequent in this version as wordpress and plugins get updated. When there is a new version for our tested plugin, we do some deep investigation and check if this kind of new version works properly with our theme and otherwise we will try to adjust this to our theme and because of this it is necessary sometimes until release this. I think, i found a solution:
First i removed in every post the tag, since I tested the tag in a couple of postings. This way i won’t add it a second time…
update wp_posts set post_content = replace( post_content, 'td-modal-image', '');
Add the tag to every image…
update wp_posts set post_content = replace( post_content, '<img class="', '<img class="td-modal-image ');
It looks like it worked.

Oh great, thank you. It solved the problem. I have a few more quick questions:
After the update a line with “no comments” suddenly appear on the bottom on my front page. How can I remove that?
Is it possible to remove the yellow layer on the front page pics?
And last: Some of my pics seems blurry on tablet and smartphone despite they are in high resolution. Any suggestion to solve that problem?

For the moment the theme does not have Restore to Default option but we plan to add one in future updates. Meanwhile yu can try the method indicated in this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/change-style-of-multiple-posts-at-once/ It’s for Newspaper theme but should work on Newsmag too.
