I am using Newspaper version 6.6
It came from Envato an update for 6.6.1 but it is unclear which files have changed
Changed file refers upgrade 6.5 – 6.6.1
Also the patch folder contains only the file changes between 6.5 – 6.6.1
Instead I wanted to know what are the files that have changed from 6.6 to 6.6.1

You can add only the Google+ social link from Visual Composer->Social Counter Settings, like this http://screencast.com/t/SDZXd2A4ivg , but not the rest LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc. on our theme.
It is possible to add this but is not a simply task and it is necessary to make some customization in back-end and also, better coding knowledge are required. If you are not aware about the steps, I consider to hire a freelancer/developer to do this for you, because we do not provide Custom Work for the moment, sorry.
P.S We add these things/suggestions to our list of fixes and on near future/updates, it would be possible to implement it in our theme, as well. Our developers will decide these things.

In order to enable gzip compression yopu need to contact your hosting provider as the setup is different from one server to another.
The speedbooster plugin can be found in the theme files http://screencast.com/t/73Jg7eC0
You can install it from there.
The speedbooster plugin has a compatibility list of plugins it can work with. If any plugin is found the is not on that particular list, it will shut down. You can use it with other plugins though if you want by following this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/my-slow-loading-page-with-the-latest-update/

IU am sorry you feel this way, I did not mean to be dismissive. I just pointed out that our theme was designed to work with adsense and we have not tested adspeed ads. Adsense is the only ad structure that our theme can display if it is inserted directly in the ad spots in the theme panel. If your ad does not have the standard adsense structure:

then the theme will display the code on the front end unmodified. I thought this was the case for you as well.
You can try the other ads method and see if the ad displays the same.
There was indeed a problem with inline ads in older version of our theme and it is possible the same issue affects you as I see you use version 6.3 of our theme.

Newspaper 6 is a whole new theme so an update from 4.X to 6 may cause the same issues as switching to another theme (but we did try to maintain compatibility where ever possible).
Always make a full backup of your current installation â https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups and then do a clean update, meaning that we recommend that you delete the old version of the theme before uploading the new one â https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ update also the plugins that come with the theme files from the /plugins folder. In the âhow to updateâ guide is specified that you will have to run the script that will import from database your settings.
The shortcodes have been changed so old ones will not work anymore. Please note that old files customization or custom css will not work with the new version and you will have to adjust or re-add them.
Bottom line is that newspaper 6 is a whole new theme built from scratch.
Unfortunately you will have to clear your agenda and spare a bit of time to adjust all your settings to the new version of the theme.

If you update the theme from one version to another then you can use the patch provide within theme files, the patch contains just the modified files and can be used only if you update the theme from one version to another. For example if you’re using now V2.3.1 of the theme you can use the patch to update at 2.3.2 by replacing all modified files.

This is a known issue in older version of the theme. There are 2 solutions for it.
The first is to disable the photon feature of jetpack. It is known to cause this kind of issues.

I’m currently attempting to migrate a site running the 4.x version of the theme to the current version of the theme. However, while I’m able to install and activate the theme, running the included migration script has had u predictable results.
The site has a large amount of content and, to test the update, I created a dev instance of the site and ran the script. The home page became completely malformed with no apparent styling and distorted markup.
I repeated the process and the script appeared to work better, but still not correctly. It appeared as though the layout was correct, but not images were rendered on the home page as they previously had been.
I’m a bit puzzled as to how to proceed as running the script has caused unpredictable and damaging results when run against identical copies of what is in production. Given this, I’m hesitant to attempt the update on production as I believe there’s a strong chance it won’t work properly.
Has anyone encountered this? Is there a resolution? Thanks!

In 6.6 your API plugin example still uses td_wp_booster_config. It took me a little bit of time to find out that you’ve just changed the class name to td_config. Please make sure this change is advertised, and update your Theme API docs and the API plugin .php file that comes with the theme, to save other people the trouble…

i) At the moment, I see the options (Home, write, Logo etc.,) are top aligned. It needs to be middle aligned.
ii) CSS code to increase Font size and spacing. Also optimal spacing between the options.
I tried following:

I have updated my php.ini file, and this has been reflected in the system status from the wordpress admin panel.
However, I am still getting the same error when I try to install demo content:

On the posts pages, the Facebook and Twitter icons were showing the number of shares and likes. For some reason it got set back to zero, perhaps when I updated the theme…I’m not sure. I see the number of shares in Jetpack, so they’re not lost. How can I re-establish the number of shares/likes?
