The tagDiv Visual Composer Shim is an experimental plugin in beta version and it was created like an alternative solution regarding the Visual Composer consuming resources(especially for tagdiv blocks). All this issues with Visual Composer plugin started since plugin’s version 4.4, which was a major update of the plugin and since then the plugin doubled in size and started using more resources.
We did not get any reports regarding this issue from latest version of the plugin, so please make sure that you have increased the php memory limit and try to use only necessarily plugins.

Unfortunately this can be done only with custom modifications, but we have it on our list and we try to find a better implementation for sign in/register widgets in a future update. Please make sure that you update the them from version 4 not an older version and assuming you’ve make a backup of your database before updating the theme, restore it and test the impost settings script again.

I’ve added your suggestions on the list, Radu O. is going to investigate this, he’s the expert on this area.
The Google SEO requests are not properly defined, Radu constantly looks for the pattern used on big sites with lots of employees which benefit from high quality SEO expertise and are highly ranked on Google. He also makes tests with various installs to test the theme pattern are working and the results are excellent. The theme is constantly tested with Google Structured Data Testing tool, a fix on this will be released in the next update to address some issues which appeared lately (Google is constantly changing the requirements).
If you’re in a hurry the title h tags can be changed manually in the code, ex for modules/blocks – http://screencast.com/t/pk3pvqzQvZ – http://screencast.com/t/fVS4pOnM
The header container can also be changed, it seems it doesn’t affect the css but additional tests should be made (i just made a quick test) – http://screencast.com/t/R5ewHTxWGii
On the sidebar is more complicated, on a quick look you have to modify the before and after used on widgets – http://screencast.com/t/5o1A6ZJd8F4 – then change the sidebar container tag on templates – http://screencast.com/t/Lke6IZsOk – extensive tests have to be done it this area too.
Any changes to these sections will be announced in the theme log.

We are aware for those warnings which still appear unfortunately in the latest version of the VC plugin included in the latest version of the theme but those happen from the Visual Composer plugin and should be fixed in the next version of the plugin which we will include in the next update.
Finally you shouldn’t worry about it as it’s just a warning and doesn’t cause any issues, from my tests the elements still work as they should.

You may not need to update the posts, if you use default wp post types: https://codex.wordpress.org/Post_Types with a featured image set for posts. To test that you could try to setup a new test wp install and recreate your current environment with a few posts and pages and then apply the theme and check the result.

We understand, there are several other theme users that have requested this ability and we do have it on our requests list, however unfortunately a more accurate answer than this I can’t provide at the moment because we still need to review this possibilities of implementing this and methods that we may approach. We will get back with and update on this as soon as we have a decision on this. Until then you can try to find and use a plugin.
We don’t have a roadmap suggestions system setup at the moment but we may consider creating one as there are lots of feature requests and it’s getting very difficult to follow them.

If you want to use child theme to overwrite the files from main theme and don’t lose the custom modifications when you update the theme you don’t have to upload the api plugin. The api plugin was created for advanced users so they can create new modules,blocks, templates as you can see in the documentation – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-theme-api/
