Hallo, I recently update the theme from version 3 to 5 and I don’t know how to insert a leaderboard banner above the header (in outer container). Here you can see how it looks the website before upgrade http://www.deaedizioni.it/scambio/2022_04.html and here the new version without banner in the header http://www.recoverweb.it. We manage banner using AdRotate plugin and leaderboard banner is a custom ad we create in theme panel. Thank for your reply
Hello!
Check this guide: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
Make sure you do not have the Mobile Theme plugin installed and active.
Thank you!

My website name is Gambling Associates [https://gamblingassociates.com]
I tried to update my NewspaperVersion: 11.4.1 To NewspaperVersion: 11.4.3, from my WordPress Dash Board, everything was O.K.
And the theme was updated successfully. After that when the plugins started to install & activate automatically, the TagDiv Composer failed and all others were installed successfully.
Then I tried to install & activate “TagDiv Composer” manually but I got the same result, the TagDiv Composer failed and was not installed.
After that I deleted the old “TagDiv Composer” file from cPanel File Manager and uploaded a new one from the recent updated files supplied by Envato Market.
Then I again tried to install & activate “TagDiv Composer” manually but I got the same result, the TagDiv Composer failed and was not installed.
A screenshot has been attached herewith.
Please help me and instruct what to do now.
Hey, I get the Same Errors, but I had a solution for it.
I never got the error when editing the template in “Draft” status.
I brought templates that had already been published back into draft status for editing and was then able to use the TD Composer. Everything was fine then.
Since the last update, however, I can no longer return the templates to the draft status. The only option I have in the status dropdown is “Published”. However, I can return posts and pages to draft mode as normal, except for templates.
Is that a bug or is it intentional?
Hello.
Faced the problem of lost paragraphs in the mobile theme editor. The page on desktops is displayed correctly, but on mobile devices, when viewing the page, paragraphs are absolutely absent, while they are visually present in the mobile editor. If I switch the view mode of the mobile editor from the visual tab to the text tab and explicitly add the </br> code, save the changes, the paragraphs appear and the page starts to look right on mobile devices. But it is not possible to solve the problem in this way, because any reverse switch from the text tab to the visual tab leads to the fact that </br> are lost. And most importantly, I would like to work not through crutches. The most amazing thing is that on my site there is another page that works correctly and in it the paragraphs that are displayed in the mobile editor are exactly the same when viewed on a mobile device. I could not find a fundamental difference comparing these two pages. Installed latest theme and wordpress updates.
The page of my site in question:
Thanks in advance for your help

Hi Calin,
Thanks for the reply.
Yes, the 5-star display system is working but this is not the problem in question. The problem is with the points system that you have been made well aware of.
So you are saying the schema will be fixed for the points system in the next update? I was told there would be “improvements” last time and it was still not fixed.
Thanks!
Hello!
Check if you have some extra settings for the updates, maybe it could be a setting which do not let the plugins to be updated.
Thank you!
Ok thanks.
I wanted to ask how do I change the settings for the trigger menu? in NFT News version. I can’t find a way to have it updated.
Hi,
The 5-star display system has not been modified because it is still working properly. In the next update there will be some added improvements for reviews.
Thank you!
H,
It will be better to use a child theme, in this way, when you’ll update the theme, the changes will not be lost.
The files that need to be edited are those that are used, if you use post template 1 then you need to edit this one wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/parts/single/loop-single-1.php -> single_template_1.php and if is the default template, please try this one -> loop-single.php
I hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi Calin,
I can confirm that removing and reinstalling the plugin fixed the problem.
I checked before and after the update in the plugin panel and the td-composer plugin had same version and same build date (v3.3 built on 11.04.2022 7:46) so something went wrong during the previous update.
Do you know how this can occur?
Hello hope all is well.
I have set up this theme for a client, and now it has been awhile since checking it again. and it seems like something is wrong with, I’ve updated all plugins except wpbakery, I think thats the issue. But in general everything takes time to upload and if I want to create a new page with tag composer it doesn’t work.
So please if you can just check what is up with theme, I would really appreciate it.
Thank you
Nour.
Hello!
The tagdiv Composer is the main plugin for this theme and it has a lot of customizations. For example, if you have a lot of elements on a page, then it could load a little bit slower. Our developers are working a lot to improve the page speed in every update.
Some factors which you need to take into account are:
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors, if you are using the Standard Pack plugin on not, if you are using PRO demo or a standard one.
Please check the tutorials from those platforms gt metrix and Google Pagespeed Insights and I’m sure you can increase the page speed.
Please note that the page speed is not covered by the support team: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-support/
Also, check this useful guide: https://www.xtechkr.com/optimize-newspaper-theme/

Hi,
Unfortunately, it looks that our developers missed to add that option, sorry!
This will be added in the coming update!
Hello!
I’m sorry to hear about that, but our developers are working a lot to improve the page speed in every update. Make sure you use the latest update of the theme and plugins.

Hi,
So it’s been over a month since I started this thread and still no update.
This fix is so simple I can even give you the code which needs to be added, I really don’t understand why a theme that is advertised as a “review theme” cant fix their review schema which has been broken for years!
Please push the developers into fixing this problem, we both know it is WELL overdue.
Thanks
Hi,
It depends on what you mean by a fully compatible cache plugin. If you are referring to the settings that need to be used to work correctly with the theme, then both of the above plugins can be used, for WP Super cache we have a guide, and for WP Rocket we can give you a guide that works.
Now the problem is that depending on how each website is created, what elements it contains and what resources it still has, some webmasters need help to get a better speed for the mobile version. So our theme besides the responsive version offers me 2 more options.
Mobile page templates, these are mobile templates that can be made for pages and cloud templates with tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/Uz85flw.png -> https://i.imgur.com/LR03SYa.png
Mobile theme plugin, is a plugin that uses a simple layout and elements without builders, as a consequence the pages must be rebuilt using mobile editor or you can use the responsive version.
Here is a video for how to use those 2 mobile versions -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
Thank you!

I have read this post: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/thumbnails-regenrated/, but it’s not the same issue.
In my case, I have to enable a plugin called Regenerate Thumbnails (https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/). This plugin editor passed away in 2019 so this plugin stoped update since then.
But once I active tagDiv Composer, regenrate Thumbnails will stop work.
do you think it’s possible to make some change?
Thanks
Jay
The unique articles fixed it, I didn’t see this option until I updated to the latest version. I was 2 minor versions behind apparently.
Thank you
By when I can except the solution as hosting support is waiting for your update?
Hurt luck. no improvement after deactive all plugins. I know page speed is not covered by support team. But clearly it is update issue. Because website working fine prevously. After install new version we are facing the probelm. This update almost destroy our site.
Ok Calin,
I must update the details provided with adittional info (please pass it through to your coleagues)
I found that our homepage is constantly loosing saved configurations.
Examples: We disabled the “Next Prev Ajax” for the two columnists Block named “opiniao” and days after we saw the page lost that configuration and revert to a point where “Next Prev Ajax” was enable. The same happened with a “AD Box” and also in our COVID-19 Block (we update covid numbers manually). Covid-19 block had been update in April 18 and yesterday the numbers shown were from April 5. Inside the covid-19 module “Next Prev ajax” at Flex Block 1 doesnt work.
Also CPU USAGE is too high.
https://www.socialistparty.org.uk
I did a backup before updating to 11.4.3
However, on upgrade to 11.4.3 the following code displayed on the home page where the second block, block 17, (“News”) was normally positioned:
[td_block_17 custom_title=”News” block_template_id=”td_block_template_8″ border_color=”#dd3333″ category_id=”98″ ajax_pagination=”” td_ajax_filter_type=”” td_filter_default_txt=”More” m4_tl=”50″]
Possibly this next piece showed too, but I’m not sure now:
[vc_row_inner gap="12" tdc_css="eyJwaG9uZSI6eyJtYXJnaW4tcmlnaHQiOiItMjAiLCJtYXJnaW4tbGVmdCI6Ii0yMCIsIndpZHRoIjoiY2FsYygxMDAlICsgMTAwcHgpIiwiZGlzcGxheSI6IiJ9LCJwaG9uZV9tYXhfd2lkdGgiOjc2N30="]
Below which the home page displayed normally (see screenshot). As expected, there was no access to this code in the tagdiv editor.
Rather than attempt a fix (an edit in wordpress to remove the displayed code would probably have worked fine, then restore block in tagdiv), I used the newspaper theme updates panel to reverse the upgrade – I went back a few to 11.4, and this was successful at restoring the block immediately. (Which is very good, btw.)
Screenshot:
https://www.socialistparty.org.uk/Images/Upgrade_to_11-4-3_causes_block_17_to_crash_out_22-4-22.jpg
This screen shot is a mock up – an approximation to the display (since I immediately reversed the upgrade, I didn’t pause to document it.)
I’d like to upgrade to the latest version, but hoping you could check this out first.
