It is only Support Desktop and Laptop. But Mobile Version is Not Support in Whole Theme Design. It’s means that I have Created my website in my own style, BUT NewsPaper Theme is not SHOWING Mobile Version of my Custom Theme Style. I have already Install Mobile Theme Plugin. mobile, android last version: opening any picture in articles (click on it), immagine goes “down” at bottom of the article, same opening galleries.
It’s a complicated theme and I have had my share of issues with it but currently (*knocks on wood*) it’s running great, occasionally I get some small hiccups (sometimes with new updates) but often they are plugin related so it takes a lot of time to test before you find out. Those times however when I needed assistance the support here was great, it took some time for them to act but that’s understandable if you see how many issues are reported in this forum. You can’t expect instant support when you only pay 59dollar for a theme.
Was this issue solved? Looking at various posts, I’m so unsure whether to update to latest WordPress and theme version.

I checked the waterfall in GTMetrix and there are a lot of fonts, css and Java Script that is loaded in the headsection of the theme. I have deactivated all Google Fonts. So what can I do to the decrease the LCP. The LCP increased after the last update…

Dear @Amit you always such great tips to get Newspaper Theme faster. I did everything that was possible (Page Speed is now 94/99 without AdSense) but I have a big problem with the Largest Contentful Paint (the new ranking factor). It’s pending between 2,3 and 3,1 seconds since the last Google Core Update. Most of the time the LCP is over 2,5 seconds and I get the information that I have to improve my sites. But should I do? A test with GMetrix has shown that there are a lot of fonts, CSS and JS is loaded. I have disabled all Google Fonts.
Which part of the theme causes the large LCP?

Same problem after last update.
Well, not EVERY backup, just some, the last one that failed so miserably was in October.
An Automatic update should not lead to such things.
So far we figured out with your colleague, Simoin that the updated emptied the header, which I managed to bring back following his instructions.
What remains to be done is to bring back the sidebar at Posts. But if that is not feasible, I will restore.
I am also a bit bothered by the loss of traffic, which had obvious reasons when the front page was messed up. But even now, it is lower than it should be. But this might be due to seasonal traffic patterns.
All in all, let me know if your colleagues can bring back the sidebar for the posts, otehrwise I will restore the backup, and lose some days of work.
Can you give us an approximately time frame when this issue is going to be fixed? Some important other plugins don’t work anymore on our website because we can’t update to the newest HP version because of your theme.

thanks for your answer. We are going to do that (overwrite core file in child theme) while I try to figure out why it is behaving that way.
However that is not exactly something that feels right and if I update Newspaper and forget to do the same in the child things will break.

Hi zoldfulu, If you have this problem with each update, please try to update the theme manually, this way is the best, but you must do some more clicks.
If you have the possibility to set back a backup, do it, also you can try the manual update on staging, sub-domain or localhost and see if the problem persists.

I don’t know if anyone else has the same problem with editing TagDiv composer homepage since the last update. But mine has been a big headache. Anytime we try to edit the homepage, there is this same error that pops up, preventing us from editing it. This has been happening since the last update.
Don’t get me wrong, this is a great theme, but since support takes a day or several days to come, your website can crash and it will take many days before you can fix it because of limited support.
Also, does anyone know why every time there is a new update, your site crashes until you update the plugins? Is there no better way of updating the site without it crashing in the first place?

Hi josp, I understand what you are mean, but please notice that the support team can provide only support and no implementation of code. Usually those problems appearing when you are using the responsive version of theme, using the mobile theme plugin you’ll get better results.
Also since now all is around on Largest Contentful Paint and Cumulative Layout Shift our developers will try that the coming them updates to have better results in lighthouse.

Hello, I haven’t updated my newsppaper for a long time, today I updated the most recent version because I liked the Black Version PRo, but I can’t activate it. I already tried to deactivate all the extra plugins, install from scratch and I always have the same result of not being able to activate it, additionally the theme panel does not work. Any suggestion?
Please provide me the help of any technical person in this regard. I want to get the new functionalities by upgrading to the newer version of the theme, but I also don’t want to affect my ranking in the google by getting countless of errors due to the update.
