Thanks, Vlad S! I’ve updated the plugin but the WP Bakery plugin doesn’t seem to be working at all. Not working for both pages and posts! Presently installed versions are as follows;
WordPress 5.5.1
Newspaper theme: 9.8
WP Bakery: 6.4.1

Hi khan, no the theme is not updated you are using the version 9.6.1 -> https://i.imgur.com/7OllaCu.png according to my above information if you have Wordpres over 5.5 -> https://i.imgur.com/LI4l4dW.png you need to use The last theme version That is Newspaper v10.3.7, only from Newspaper v10.3.6.1 was add the compatibility with WP 5.5 -> https://i.imgur.com/CBemnqf.png -> https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609
Therefore you have two options:
1. Update the theme
or
2. Use an WP under v5.5

This problem can appear if you are using the last version of WordPress (5.5 or 5.5.1) and an old version of theme, only from Newspaper v10.3.6.1 was added the support for WP 5.5, therefore if you do not have the last theme version, please make a full backup to your website and database, after that please make the manual theme update as in our guide from here -> https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/
Another solution is to use a plugin, but this is only an workaround, the plugin is is Enable jQuery Migrate Helper.

Unfortunately for the moment on mobile you can have a single menu, this will be set on both version, mobile menu and mobile menu sticky. I think that in coming update this option will work like the one from desktop.

Also when it will be a new update you’ll get a notification in the theme as in this guide -> https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/
Also I do not know exactly when it will be the next update, but soon that I have some information about this I will let you know!

Please note that Gutenberg is a WordPress option, not one from Newspaper Theme. From what I managed to see this is something not available at the moment. You could ask wordpress support for an update to this.

Hi when I try to edit the home page through the TD Composer it just doesn’t load and I get a blank screen, I just updated the theme, and now I can not edit, all plugins have also been updated. Can you please assist at all? Anyone have any suggestions on how I can edit.
It appears the latest Woo Commerce updates may disable the ability to edit the homepage with TagDiv Composer.
Once I deactivate Woo Commerce, I can edit homepage with TagDiv Composer as usual.
WooCommerce gets reactivated once edits are complete.
When I view a post in preview, it shows the mobile version instead of the desktop version.
This started happening after my last update.
Please advise.

If you have a problem with our theme, please make sure that you are using the last theme version, Newspaper v 10.3.7 and WordPress v5.5.1 using these version the problem that you have is fixed.
If you do not have this theme version, before the theme update, please make a full backup to your website and database.

Hi Miroslav Glavić, unfortunately for the moment the social count for Instagram is still not working, our developers need to find another method to get access to it, unfortunately you’ll need to use the fix count option.
Now the problem with Facebook & Youtube, these should work, but first, please try this: disable tagDiv Composer, delete it and re-install it from Newspaper> plugins, in this way you’ll have the last version with more fix (this plugin was update after theme update), after that clear all cache and check again with Facebook id, this should work. Now for Youtube you need to make sure that your api key is still working, to be sure of this, please make a new one and replace the one that you have in theme panel -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/youtube-api-key/ after that clear the cache and check the results!

If you are using the new option for mobile pages -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ then yes, you’ll have a different url, because is not the same page is a page only for mobile/landscape devices, if you want to have the same url you can do it using the theme only with responsive version, but in this way you can not change the mobile content and design.
The problem with the margin, to solve it, please try to set a padding on that element, or set the margin bottom on inner-column, this should apply.

Have a similar desire, looking to programmatically change the post-setting template on the fly, but really posted so I can get notified when someone updates this post. I have woocommerce members plugin and it doesn’t display properly with the cloud templates, but the Single Template it does, so trying to setup a way to programmatically change it for non-members.

I have updated all the section you mentioned above but i want to override the setting on older post snipboard.io/r2VvTE.jpg. Most of them were not switched over to Global settings. I’ve had to manually go into several post and change the template to the global template https://snipboard.io/Fk2gmv.jpg.
Also, Now I’m unable to click sub items in navigation menu https://snipboard.io/W1ntpD.jpg I have sent emails to the support team and haven’t heard anything back and it’s been almost 3 days

Also the burger menu when viewing the business directory page isn’t working??
Since the last theme update I’ve incurred issues with speed and plugin conflictions? …. which php version do you recommend?.. currently running 7.4

Hello !
The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.
You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor or completely disable the mobile theme. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !
Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:
