This is strange case, if I understand correctly, somehow the link for featured image is there, but the image is not loading, but after you update the post the ling is displaying the image. It will be good if you could inspect this problem, if you can make a full backup to your website and if you can provide us access to check this problem, or if you can make a staging where to set your website and to provide us access to inspect it, in this way if there is a theme problem or something that is set wrong and we miss it we can fix it without affecting the live website.

This problem appear only if you are using last version of WordPress v5.5 and you do not have the last version of Newspaper theme v10.3.6.1, please check this and if is so, make a full backup and update the theme.
If there is still a problem, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel or FTP if possible. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.

I have had elementor for a long time. But I started using Newspaper, It was amazing but it needs some new features to be added to make it spectacular!
Its been 3 days since I have purchased, so far I have got only 2-3 bugs
BUG
– Footer Template in designing and theme panel is not saving and having an error
– Sticky Option in not responsive for sidebar or header
I know elementor support will not be added in tag, but if it added. Then that would be amazing.
Features Needed [ Ideas from Elementor]
– Media Carousel Need More Features to be added , Abilty to add more Images with links to each, Animation with arrow slider, Hover effect
– Call To Action Need More Features, Ablity to add Ribbon on it, Text Position, Button Changes
– Adding New Layout in a theme and changing it.
– Parallex Ads, in Between Post

I think that you are referring to update notification, if is so , please click on check for updates -> https://i.imgur.com/BNhbaVZ.png and see if you get the last version.
If this is still not displaying, then you need to use the manual theme update mentioned at point B in our guide -> https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/
Also after this update the notification should start to work again.

Hello Vlad, I am looking at the W3cache manual that tells me, but it is very different from the plugin that I have installed, it is the Pro version and the latest version, just updated. I am running 5 different websites with your newspaper theme. All are current with WordPress and plugins updates. Yesterday I was unable to work on these websites because all the text in the WordPress Admin could no longer be seen, but has either turned white or is invisible. Can you tell me why this is happening and how to fix it?

I am having a weird issue when trying to activate the plugin- I tried to activate the demo but something happned and the activation page disappeared. Now, whenever I go to Theme updates. The following message appears:
“The update process can’t be completed because your Newspaper Theme license key is not yet activated.
Please activate your theme! – Activate theme
If you need help activating the theme, please follow the Step-by-step Guide.”
When I click the “Activate Theme” the following error message appears: “Lo siento, no tienes permisos para acceder a esta página.” which translates to “Sorry, you do not have permission to access this page”.
Therefore I am unable to activate the theme -.-‘
Please note that I have tried erasing the theme from the FTP and reuploading it and I still get the exact same error.

Tagdiv have updated the Newspaper Theme five (5) times between May 6, 2020 and August 10, 2020. On two of the five occasions, (May 20th and Aug 10th) several of my site’s settings have been deleted, disabled, or reverted to default. The time taken to reset the site to its original state on the first occasion it was broken (May 20th update) was very tedious and time consuming. Moreover, the thought of a similar breakdown occurring with my site being live is very scary. Thank God the site is in construction mode.
The specific problems are:
HEADER
All Top Bar settings wiped out
Header Ad settings wiped out
Logo and favicon entries wiped out
Logo for mobile wiped out
iOS bookmarklets wiped out
FOOTER
Style 5 setting reverted to Style 1
Instagram and wiped out
Footer Info Content wiped out
MISC
Theme Colors reverted to default
Social Network entries wiped out
Image thumbnails disabled
This is a major problem and concern to me, and I would love to have the problem identified and fixed so the site can meet its scheduled published date in late September. Please note that I know how to update the Newspaper Theme and am unaware of any plugin(s) that could be the cause of the problem.

After solving the miniatures and being loaded in the RSS and FEED, it turns out that after x time or from one day to the next, the thumbnails are deleted, so from what I have seen and I show you in the video the thumbnail file It is in the serve and the address is the same, but if I load the thumbnail, the main page comes out and not the thumbnail, I’m doing tests with the cache plugin in case it is the cause but I don’t know where to solve it. The funniest thing is that if I update the entry it comes out again, see the video.
Same issue. Also, my entire site is loading slow across all browsers and multiple devices and different wifi networks. WPEngine is saying it’s the theme, not them. Looks like the wordpress update broke something? My images and MENU aren’t loading, wtf.

Hi, my site updated today to WP5.5 and now the slide module at thop of home page is broken, but only when viewed on mobile. (I’m not using the mobile theme). Looks fine on desktop.
I went into composer and replaced the slide, but no effect.
