Thanks for your response earlier. Update: I have “purged CDN” files via WP Super Cache plugin, I have DELETED the image (Voice logos) from my media library and the darn image is STILL overriding my image that I assigned in the Theme Panel.
Please advise, thank you!
Hello,
Is it coming a 9.2.1 (or 9.3) version to fix WordPress 5 bugs in the next week?
I’m just asking because i’m interested to update WordPress to 5.0, and i would like to have a stable version of the template for it.
Regards
Cannot update/publish post. Throws error 404, “page not found”.
please respond quickly, as i can’t publish new articles on our site
Suggestion: Please add a notification or a line on the changelog if you updated the plugins.
Hi,
Yes, I saw that and we will fix it in the near future updates.
Thanks.
Hi,
Thanks for your message and we will fix in future updates.

Let us know how it goes!
Thanks.
Hi! When will you include version 5.6? Is December 10 and still haven’t update. Thanks
Hi,
Please select the Pagebuilder + latest articles + pagination update and refresh and see if the latest articles appear.
Please make a test, and make a clean install with the latest version of theme and WP on
subdomain or on local host, and see if the problem persist.
Thank you.
You are welcome 🙂
I hope that other people can benefit from this guide, and that future updates will value the render.
Cheers
Hi,
If you made update to WordPress 5.0 please make update to the last version of theme too, is possible that the version 8.6 do not be compatible with WP 5.
Thank you.
Hi,
What shortcodes are you referring to? Updating the theme and WordPress should have no effect on shortcode functionality in general.
Some users recommend to test the new WordPress update on a local copy of the website, or testing environment, not the live website. This would be safer indeed.
Others will not make the update for the time being and prefer to monitor the developing situation, for example

Thanks
Hi,
That update method is not so reliable, it can fail at times. Better use the other update methods, either by WordPress or by FTP
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
The FTP method is the most recommended and reliable update method. The guide presents the steps for each of them however. Please try to update by a different method if possible.
Thanks
Hi,
Some theme plugins have to be updated manually, delete them and reinstall them. The latest versions of the theme plugins can be found if you download the full theme package from themeforest (in the plugins folder)

Thanks
Hi!
I finally wanted to update my version: 7.6.1 of the theme as you recommended. I first updated the WordPress version and then I followed the instructions and tried both approaches: via backend and via ftp. In both cases it did not work out. Error message:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1048576 bytes) in /home/.sites/564/site1126821/web/wp-includes/class.wp-dependencies.php on line 209
I checked my server settings – there should be no problem there. I bought your theme a second time and used a later version. There I had no problems updating it.
I had to manually remove the theme on the server and then go back to a backup. I also got several alerts during the process about problems with the mobile theme. My guess is that it is the theme making troubles. Can you recommend how I may proceed.
Visual Composer
Another big problem is that the Visual Composer is not working anymore – it’s simply not on my sites since I updated to the latest Word Press Version. Any idea how I could fix that? Just deleting the Plugin and installing it manually from the latest version of the theme?
Thanks a lot!
Regards, Peter
Hi,
If you did not make the changes in theme files, and you make the update the theme was override and you’ll need to make the changes again.
Thank you for your understanding.

Hi,
Unfortunately I do not understand the problem you have after the update, please provide some more details.
Also please make sure that you clear all cache, and if your image are not showing please deactivate lazyload

Thank you for your understanding.
Hi,
Please make sure that the composer is activated
https://www.screencast.com/t/U93cw7D7yxB
Most important, please be sure to check the updated theme requirements guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Increase all the parameters if it’s the case.
WP_MEMORY_LIMIT try to increase it to a value of double you already have if possible.
Also please make a test and deactivate all non theme plugins, clear all cache and try again.
Thank you for your understanding.
Hi,
Yes it is, there should be no problem of compatibility. After you update please clear all caching and CDN if used, also the browser cache if possible. There were reports from our users of images not being displayed after the update, for some clearing all caches solved the problem.
If you experience such an issue and it is not fixed after trying the above, please disable the theme lazyload feature in the theme panel for the time being
– https://www.screencast.com/t/0zox1YzS
We will continue our investigation for the lazyload issues and try to fix any potential, problems with it.
Thanks

Thank you.
Apple mac, Safari 11.1.2. Also tried with chrome and firefox.
Works on another office computer but can’t get the images to show on mine. Worked fine before WP 5.
Any thoughts?
Hello,
No longer see my editor (pagebuilder) after the update to wp 5. Is this a general issue or is it just me?
Any advice?
THank you.
