It’s the same for me, if the retina thumbnails are enabled they will be displayed in the flex block modules.
I will add this on our list and it will be looked over as soon as possible. The flex blocks will receive more options over future updates, maybe even the capability to choose from all the thumbnails the theme creates.

Please make sure that you have correctly installed the version of the theme and if the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further investigate it closer your setup page. Before this, please make a full backup to your database because we will try to update the theme version. Also, we need to have CPanel access for more investigations.

Hello all,
Please notice that we recommend using only the plugins version which comes bundled with the theme core files. If you have an older version of your plugins, the theme will automatically disable all of these until you will update them. Please do this, clear all the caches and check the results.

Any idea what might be causing this?
I updated the theme from 4.4 to 4.5 using FTP. Disabled the AMP and deleted the plugin. Then installed plugin thinking it might be new. (it was actually the same 1.2 version). Tried activating it and get this error… Retried various ways but still getting the same error.

Yes, that seems to have done the trick across all of our existing content as well, so hopefully that will help reduce load times.
The problem with this is that we’ve had to disable our retina images, which is not ideal for viewers with retina screens. Is this something that can be fixed for a future update?
It would also be really helpful to be able to use smaller image sizes than 696px as well. As you can see on our site, all of our thumbnails are in a 2:1 or 3:2 format, so the 324x400px option doesn’t work for us at all. A lot of our thumbnail sizes are quite small, so it would be better to be able to have something like a 300x200px or 200x100px resolution as it would make the thumbnail file sizes much smaller.
Can you please pass this on to the dev team to add to their list of future feature requests?

If the pages are built with the tagDiv composer or contain tagDiv composer shortcodes, or you used the cloud library plugin to create templates, then you should not deactivate the plugin. This will lead to problems, also code will be displayed in your pages.
Why did you deactivate the tagDiv composer exactly? We recommend this page builder to be used with the theme, more new features will be added for it specifically in future theme updates.
Maybe that code is causing the problem you mention with AMP. Deactivate the plugin and delete it, then install it again from the theme plugins panel

This will remove any code you might have entered in it’s files. You could also check the theme panel AMP ad code and analytics sections, you might have entered invalid codes there

All I can do is to add the requests/suggestions on our list, they are all going to be considered by our developer team and may be implemented in future updates. When they will be considered the best solutions overall will be found for each.
Currently the time based sorting methods would be the latest/oldest based on the publish time of the post.
There always are new options and features in development, these take time however to make and test.

Have finally finished our first site using tagDiv composer and absolutely loving it. My only major problem at the moment relates to image thumbnail sizes when using Flex Block 1 – which we are using heavily because it’s so flexible.

Problem appears to be that the page is pulling and cropping the full-size images (usually 1200x800px or 1400x700px) for the thumbnails, rather than using the versions selected (696x0px).
As a result, images are taking up far too much size and time in page loading, according to this test I’ve run several times.

Any ideas on how I can fix this?
And secondly, assuming I can get this working, can you consider smaller thumbnail sizes for these blocks for a future update? Some of our thumbnails are very small, especially on mobiles, so we’d like to serve the smallest images possible (<200px wide).

Before the Newspaper Theme lunched its AMP I need to have AMP for our news website, I’ve activated it from a plugin which has a AMP template for Newspaper Theme, Recently i have updated the Newspaper theme because of its AMP. Our AMP Urls won’t be changed, but i need to see how are they going to be displayed. Could someone send me some AMP pages created by the theme’s service? Is there any issue on using it? I don’t want to have any risk on using it.

Newspaper Visual Composer Option is Not Showing at the Top of The Home Page. After I Update My Theme to The latest version I am not able to get the that option.
These Categories are managed by Blubrry’s PowerPress, but the site was already running a customized version of the News theme. I wanted to change it up and installed Technology’s demo, without the included content but it removed those categories and I have to roll things back since I need them for my podcast.
Any help on how to update without losing those?
I figured out that in order to load all default used fonts locally, the theme would need 6 spots for uploading custom fonts. It provides only 5.
Font type and weight settings are not working for uploaded fonts. E.g. You can’t generate “Roboto Bold” by setting “Roboto Regular” to 700 weight (corresponding to Roboto Bold).
So the needed fonts (used by tagdiv default) are:
Open Sans Italic
Open Sans Regular
Open Sans Bold
Roboto italic
Roboto Regular
Roboto Bold
6 Fonts but the theme provides only 5 spots. Please add another spot with future updates.
