Hi,
Unfortunately there is no option to set more articles to appear from a distance for bottom or when the user reach at a specific post element like Related Articles. We have this on our list and we will consider it for one of the future updates.
Thanks!

Hi,
You can add a background color for the article title – http://screencast.com/t/UAGvtvl3R6i
.td_block_18 .td_module_mx8 .td-module-thumb a:last-child:after {
opacity: 0;
}
.td_block_18 .td_module_mx8 .td-module-meta-info {
background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.22);
padding-bottom: 20px;
bottom: 0 !important;
}
Hope this helps!
Hi @ctomlin,
We’re very sorry for all the trouble you’ve experienced. Newspaper 6 is a whole new theme that is released for free for all of our existing customers so an update from 4 to 6 may cause the same issues as switching to another theme (but we did try to maintain compatibility where ever possible).
Always make a full backup of your current installation – https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups and then do a clean update, meaning that we recommend that you delete the old version of the theme before uploading the new one – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ update also the plugins that come with the theme files from the /plugins folder. In the “how to update” guide is specified that you will have to run the script that will import from database your settings, will change the shortcodes… Also you have to update the child theme, please note that old files customization or custom css will not work with the new version and you will have to adjust and re-add them.
Hope this helps!
Hi,
We recommend now Wp Super Cache(use default settings) as we made some tests and it behaved better than W3TC. But also you can use W3TC, we recommended also this plugin to be used by default(no minifications).
Thanks!
Hi,
There is a top margin on main menu – http://screencast.com/t/wi6GhbgsR You can remove/decrease it using custom css in Theme Panel > Custom Css:
.td-header-style-7 .sf-menu {
margin-top: 28px;
}
Thanks!
Hi,
Yes, you can use it and modify it how you wish!
Thanks!
Hi,
Please provide an example as I’m not really sure how you add . When you push enter on Visual Editor, you should see the added when you change to html editor – http://screencast.com/t/Ju8sqUYkh – http://screencast.com/t/7Hhi1Ro6vj
Thanks!
Hi,
The full width of the Big Grid block is like you can see in the demo 1068px – http://screencast.com/t/lb5jOOBFBf8 – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ Unfortunately it cannot be stretched if this is what you mean, this is how it was designed.
Please provide more details if this is not what you mean.
Thanks!
Hi laarena,
Those post template are different, like I said above first image looks like style 1 and second like the default template. I don’t know what custom modifications did you have. Did you used a custom post template? Did you changed the default post template site wide? – http://screencast.com/t/UnvAPYC7CoI3
Please provide more details about this.
Thanks!
Hi,
Please make sure that you use the latest version of Social Counter as I have checked you instagram id and it works fine on my side. Also you can try to add another instagram id and see if it works, then re-add your id so you will refresh it. If you still have this issue try also without any plugins active except of Visual Composer and Social Counter, clear cache and see if it works. Let me know how it goes!
Thanks!
Hi,
Please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link so we can take a look at this.
Thanks!
Hi,
It should work any link that you add to the social network areas, just add the full url:
http://www.aold.org/
Let me know how it goes and also provide your site url so I can inspect this.
Thanks!
Salut,
Mai ai aceasta problema? Ce device ai folosit? Am testat si eu site-ul tau pe un Nexus dar nu am gasit aceasta problema. Nu ar trebui sa apara aceasta problema nici la tine, poate doar depinde de browser…
Mersi!
Hi,
I guess that you use the version 4 of the theme, so you can try this custom css in Theme Panel > Custom Css – http://screencast.com/t/4UFdgqPm
@media (max-width: 767px) {
.td_mod8 .thumb-wrap img {
width: 100%;
max-height: 100% !important;
max-width: 100% !important;
}
.td_mod8 .item-details {
margin-left: 0 !important;
top: 0!important;
}
}
If it doesn’t work please provide your site url so I can inspect this.
Thanks!
Hi,
Please clear cache as it seems to be a caching. Also the browser cache Ctrl + Shift + R.
Thanks!
Hi,
I guess that you have this space issue because of text with title margin and padding bottom. Try to add your title using Raw Html block like this(also you can add your link) – http://screencast.com/t/eUhlIK0TL – http://screencast.com/t/dqCtqkZ6R2gd
<h4 class="block-title"><a href="http://your link">
MOST POPULAR
</a></h4>
Unfortunately the Text with Title block doesn’t have an option to add a link like the theme’s blocks have.
Thanks!

Hi,
You can create a page as mega menu, but it will display the page content – https://forum.tagdiv.com/mega-menu/
I’m not sure if this can help but you can add a page on your menu from Appearance > Menus and make a category megamenu for your page – http://screencast.com/t/OawGJ4yD – http://screencast.com/t/GqHiPIaD
Thanks!
Hi,
Sorry for delay we don’t work on weekends! We answer to the most oldest topics so if you add a new replies we get later to your topic.
Newspaper 6 is a whole new theme that is released for free for all of our existing customers so an update from 4 to 6 may cause the same issues as switching to another theme (but we did try to maintain compatibility where ever possible). We also changed the page templates I guess that you have used the default page template that allowed sidebar automatically to your content. Unfortunately in version 6 if you use the default or pagebuilder with latest articles you have to add the sidebar using pagebuilder. Try to change the template to pagebuilder with title and see how it looks – http://screencast.com/t/F85RTexAME
Also the block title style 1 that you used in previous version doesn’t exist anymore in version 6, that’s why appear this background issue for block title and you have to edit each homepage block and change the background color – http://screencast.com/t/7qRvDzjc
The VC frontend editor is deactivated from the theme files, as it doesn’t work with the theme’s blocks. You can activate it if you comment/delete this code – http://screencast.com/t/o8tlhjUyh
We tried to find the best way for the transition(the script), but some issues may appear. We are very sorry for all the problems that the update caused and if you cannot use the theme, we can arrange for a full refund(send an email at contact@tagdiv.com with you request,also paste a link to this topic and we will explain the procedure).
Sorry for inconvenience!

Hi,
It seems that it is a little different for Newspaper as here you can use font icon like on the default share buttons – http://screencast.com/t/7lmCBI7eqr87 and just add this custom css for background color: http://screencast.com/t/ujuSNNV6
<a class="td-social-sharing-buttons td-social-linkedin" href="http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=' . urlencode(esc_url(get_permalink())) . '&title=' . htmlspecialchars(urlencode(html_entity_decode($this->title, ENT_COMPAT, 'UTF-8')), ENT_COMPAT, 'UTF-8') . '&source=' . urlencode(get_bloginfo('name')) . '" onclick="window.open(this.href, \'mywin\',\'left=50,top=50,width=600,height=350,toolbar=0\'); return false;"><i class="fa fa-linkedin"></i></a>
.td-social-linkedin{
background-color: #006699;
}
Hope this helps!

Hi,
Here you can find an example how to add a share button (it is from Newsmag docs, but it should work also for Newspaper) – https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-a-new-linkedin-button/
Thanks!
Hi,
What theme version do you use? I also tested this with the latest version 6.4 and when you disable comments that blocks title doesn’t appear anymore. This issue was on our list bu it was fixed, here you can find a solution if you don’t use the latest version – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/remove-no-comments-label/
Thanks!
Hi,
For non-adsense code we recommend these div containers – https://forum.tagdiv.com/article-ads/ and just add the image the link url:
<div class="td-visible-desktop">
<a href="link when you click on the image"><img src="http://link to your image" alt="" /></a>
</div>
<div class="td-visible-tablet-landscape">
<a href="link when you click on the image"><img src="http://link to your image" alt="" /></a>
</div>
<div class="td-visible-tablet-portrait">
<a href="link when you click on the image"><img src="http://link to your image" alt="" /></a>
</div>
<div class="td-visible-phone">
<a href="link when you click on the image"><img src="http://link to your image" alt="" /></a>
</div>
Thanks!

Hi,
Please provide a link so we can take a look. Also if you use smaller featured image than the size of the thumb you will need to use plugin like Thumbnail Upscale to enlarge thumbnails and Force Regenerate, like Chris suggested.
Thanks!
Hi,
I see that you use child theme, please make sure that you update it to the theme version as it seems to be an old version – http://screencast.com/t/Ear1LHjNVk You can find it in the /code folder from files that you download from themeforest – https://forum.tagdiv.com/whats-included/
Thanks!
