Hi,
The Revolution Slider plugin comes bundled with the theme and you don’t have to buy or register it. So if you download the latest theme version 6.5.1, you can find the Revolution Slider here – http://screencast.com/t/wl6wqCuvy
Thanks!

Hi,
@CursoDeEcommerce Please regenerate thumbnails using this plugin – https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
Also please note that the featured image must be at least thumb size used on modules/blocks – https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-vs-featured-image-size/
@Chris Thanks for your help. We try to improve the documentation, but the “how to fix image sizes” tutorial exist(I provided the link above). It is in the tips an tricks tutorials for both themes. We still have a lot to work at theme’s documentation.
Thanks!
Hi,
Unfortunately I cannot provide a solution for your first question as it is not so easy to achieve. You will need custom modifications and I suggest to get someone and try to find a solution for this.
Regarding the second question you can try to change the sort order for ajax filter categories to slug and control them by the slug name or try to use a plugin like Category Order and Taxonomy Terms Order that many users use it, please check this answer – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/can-i-reorder-ajax-dropdown-on-my-own/#post-64762
Thanks!
Hi,
I have found your email in Spam. Anyway I have checked your issue and found that you use a css for h3, so please remove that fixed width, it should solve your issue – http://screencast.com/t/KX7F3C3XFJ – http://screencast.com/t/TV8gf4n3
Thanks!
Hi,
Unfortunately the td_module.php file cannot be overwritten via child theme, sorry! Please check the child theme documentation – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
Thanks!
Hi,
Please check the server requirements for newspaper theme – https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ and increase the php memory(wp-config) and the other values from php.ini file – http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.%3Cb%3Ephp%3C/b%3E#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
Also you can the pagespeed optimization guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Thanks!
Hi,
I have added this on our todo list(I also tested this and you are right) and the developers will take a look and try to find a fix for this as soon as possible.
Thanks for reporting!
Hi,
Don’t worry the theme will not expire after 4 months and you will be able to download theme’s updates(there is no limit on updates). Regarding the support limit please check envato policy – http://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy
Anyway, this forum will still be available for our customers, we will still continue to answer all questions like we do now. If something will be changed we will announce in advance, so don’t worry!
Thanks!
Hi,
The travel homepage is custom, you can achieve this if you install the travel demo to check how the page is designed(there is a specific css, I have specified above about 2 extra-classes used on the rows). Also you can install the travel without content and add those 2 classes.
Another solution on this is to customize the page yourself using negative margin top on design options for row – http://screencast.com/t/umwciAYiMz
Thanks!
Hi,
Yes, you set to the primary category spot the one you want to display on the module.
Thanks!
Hi,
Sorry I did not see your site! If you still have issues with the Big Slider please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin access so we can take a closer look, also paste a link to this topic so we can know who you are and what your issue is.
Unfortunately the Jetpack sort order was not designed for blocks with pagination or sliders. This is a new feature of the theme and for the moment we don’t have documentation for it. we will try to improve our documentation also regarding this and if we don’t find a fix for this sort option we will specify in the documentations that it doesn’t work on this kind of blocks.
Sorry again for this and like I said if you still have issues with Big Slider(using another sort order) we will take look if you will send the email.
Thanks!
Hi,
The theme was designed to support the woocommerce plugin,as we created some woocommerce templates to help our users and also we customize it a little using css code, but we did not alter the code for woocommerce elements. Also the tagdiv blocks were not designed for woocommerce products, they works with default posts types and you will need custom modifications for this and it is not an easy task, sorry!
You can try this solution and use custom field for posts(not products) and you will be able to display the price on modules/blocks – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/block-modificationsadditions-custom-field/
Doing this change requires some php/html/css experience, so I suggest to get someone to help you with this.
Thanks!
Hi,
I don’t know if you have managed to solve this, but I have checked your site again and now the icons appear fine on your site – http://screencast.com/t/EXPFoW3T75
When I have checked your site on 10 November (my reply #78104) it was also correct. So if you still have this issue please clear all the cache and purge your files.
Thanks!
Hi,
Please do not use the Jetpack sort order on sliders and/or blocks with pagination as it will not work fine. Try to change the sort order and if you still have issues please provide a link so we can take a look.
Thanks!
Hi,
You have an option to set primary category for each of your posts, if you have multiple actegories – http://screencast.com/t/yUqDh7m2pffT If you don’t set the primary category, it will display on modules the first category in alphabetical order.
The color of the category on modules/blocks can be changed using custom css in Theme Panel > Custom Css – http://screencast.com/t/VOkPxAWbnJe
.td_module_wrap .td-post-category {
background-color: #BB391B;
}
It will not take the color that you set in Theme Panel for each category, this will be applied only for post pages – http://screencast.com/t/NTdZL30M7bRS If you need this you need custom modifications to change the get_category function used on modules – http://screencast.com/t/jPN396cW3 like Bogdan suggested above take at reference the function used for categories on post pages – http://screencast.com/t/gct7mUgA6HFy
I suggest to get someone to help you, as the time doesn’t allow us to provide custom work, sorry!
Thanks!
Hi,
Please make sure you use the child theme version provided with the theme as we have changed the child theme system from version 6.3 – http://screencast.com/t/Q9Z4Lf7tihc Then check the code that you add in stylesheet file, to not have any errors. If you use CDN you will have to purge your files and also clear all cache.
I suggest to get someone to help you as this requires some time to check and unfortunately we care not available for custom services at the moment, sorry!
Thanks!
Hi,
I have tested this and it works. Please note that using this solution it will display all post published in the last 2 days(or whatever you wish) and the sort order will be after comments counts.
Please check:
– http://screencast.com/t/q8rczvh8
– I have only 2 post published in last 2 days – http://screencast.com/t/A9Dt8xCjTEM
– Block settings – http://screencast.com/t/ihAU8Njxhp – http://screencast.com/t/MhiBcWX0mnpv
– Result – http://screencast.com/t/xbbXgvQv
Hope this helps!
Hi,
This is weird I have checked your site again and now I see the issue. This usually happens when loading the font file (which contains those icons) from another host/url – http://screencast.com/t/EwXi2meDB
Normally by adding this code in .htaccess file should solve this issue(clear cache and purge your files after that):
<FilesMatch "\.(ttf|otf|eot|woff|svg)$">
<IfModule mod_headers.c>
Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin "*"
</IfModule>
</FilesMatch>
If this doesn’t work please try to regenerate the newspaper fonts then empty cache/purge files again and let me know if this issue persists.
You can try to regenerate fonts like this:
1. go to https://icomoon.io/app
2. button “import icons”, import from newsmag.svg (in /images/icons/),
3. select all icons;
4. button “generate font”, button “download”;
5. copy the 4 files (.eot, .svg .ttf .woff), in “fonts” folder in the downloaded zip file, rename icomoon.* to newsmag.*, replace old files, done.
Hope this helps!

Hi,
Sorry for inconvenience! Maybe we did not understand exactly what you meant as you have referred to the modal image, image alignment, image size..
Yes, removing wp-image class will stop modal image and the attachment will be open, but if you have many smartlists already created or/and they contain many images I guess it is not very easy for you to remove it manually. That’s why Catalin provided a solution to remove the javascript code, it worked also on my side and we believe that it is an accurate solution so you will not have to remove the class for each image. I’m not sure why you get that error, but if you don’t mind to do this manually and not remove the code, you can do it.
Thanks and sorry again!
Hi,
Please try to add also the src for svg format, this is the main difference between your files so I guess that’s why is the font is not loading – http://screencast.com/t/4VqckgxYh3
Thanks!
Hi,
If you refer to the meta info from post page, you will have to edit the template that you use and move the meta above the title – http://screencast.com/t/yvcrwIg1N
If you refer to modules, you will have to change it for modules that you use – http://screencast.com/t/aMeL4O2XjN
Here you can make an idea what modules are used on blocks – http://screencast.com/t/gUhzVeqN65q
Thanks!
Hi,
Try that css instead the above code. If it doesn’t work provide a link so I can inspect this.
Thanks!
