Please edit the page normally and change the setting for the page into Template: Default template because I think you have there the setting: Pagebuilder + Latest articles + Pagination, which are not editable by the tagDiv Composer plugin. So, please choose another page template like the default.
The standard pack plugin is deprecated, so I recommend using cloud templates.

You can not delete the empty column, only the row that contains empty columns.
