That implementation is specific for Newspaper theme and to achieve the same result on Newsmag are required some customizations. You can try to adapt the function which generate the pull-down filter from Newsamg as it is for Newspaper: http://screencast.com/t/CWudlLuYrCVd
Note that this is a complex task which require many customizations and good coding skills. if you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you as we can’t offer customization services at the moment.

Technically speaking the sidebar ad is displayed fine on your site on tablet as the theme don’t ad any margins for it. I’ve test this on my side and got the same result on iPas mini: http://screencast.com/t/zzV0ceJaimB5

@gregy1403 the theme uses the same thumb for mobile version as for desktop, but in many cases the surface which must be covered it’s bigger then the thumb size. A possible solution to increase the thumbs quality for mobile would be to make them bigger by increasing theirs sizes. I am not sure why this happens as we didn’t had a situation like this before. Try to deactivate all plugin except Visual Composer, clear all caches and test again. Also if you made any customizations in theme’s files revert them, remove any code vrom theme panel > custom code section, if you added some, then test again.

At the moment this is the best way to load a different ad as the theme does not have an option built in. We consider extending theme’s flexibility in the future and it’s possible to add such a feature bu I can’t promise anything yet as we have a long implementation list and we have to take them one by one.

Please make sure that you don’t have any ad-blocker software installed on Chrome, clear all caches including browser’s cache then test again.

The 7 days most popular posts works like this:
– first you need to have post view counter enabled from theme panel > post settings
– the sort start counting from the moment all conditions are meet, for example if you enabled the post view counter yesterday the theme will display posts with most views staring from yesterday. The theme will not consider the previous post’s views, will consider only the views from the moment when popular sort it’s enabled and post view counter is also active on the page.

Unfortunately the theme don’t have an option to set a featured video form media library. At the moment only videos from youtube or vimeo can be set as featured video: http://screencast.com/t/PLaRgXIO
We consider extending theme’s functionality and in future we may add this options between theme’s features. However I can’t promise anything in this regard as we have a long implementation list and we have to pick carefully what we implement as the user must always get what is best from us.
