Hi

The files structure is the same on both themes and the indicated solution remove the footer on all pages added in array on both themes. You just need to edit footer.php and add the indicated code there as I’ve specified in that thread.
Please provide an link where I can inspect the header issue and maybe I can help.
Thanks!

Hi

Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, deactivate the child theme, clear all caches, purge cdn files if you’re using then test the site again.
Let us know how it goes.

HI

You have a custom css which add a margin top to one of theme’s containers: http://screencast.com/t/thKtSXLN7a Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches and also remove any custom css from theme panel > custom css > custom css then test the page again. Also make sure that you didn’t added any custom in Design option for row and column.

Let us know how it goes and if the problem persist please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your login credentials and we will inspect this issue as soon as possible, also include a link to this topic.

Hi

Yes it is possible bu you will need to make some changes in theme’s core files to achieve the desired result. Firs you need to edit td_social_icons.php file and add thew new icons in the array which holds all icons: http://screencast.com/t/G29Fof0b
Next you will need a custom css to generate the icon. The theme will automatically generate a new class for any icon added. That class looks like this: td-icon-“id from array”. In my case the class will be: td-icon-custom-icon: http://screencast.com/t/0AKkS8hdYIVhttp://screencast.com/t/hHEyvokBZ

Hi

By default our theme does not have such an option and to achieve the desired result you will need some customization in theme’s core files. Basically you need to edit the file which generate the header style used and add some html code which will hod the custom text.
We can’t offer customization services at the moment so if really need this and you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you.

Thanks!

Hi

1. Is not required to install demo with content, you can only import the settings is that is what you want. For more details about our demos please check this link: https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
2. No, can ignore the activation messages as Visual Composer plugin comes bundled with the theme and you don’t need a license key for it.

HI

1. Each ad-sense script load a single ad so if you want only one ad on the page then you can use a single script in theme panel > ads.
2. Please check this link for more details in this regard: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/page-level-ads-problems/

Hope this helps.

Hi

The whatsapp icon is not available in V 2.3.7. I’ve mentioned in previous topic that you will need some customizations in theme’s code in order to achieve the desired result or update the theme at V 3. If you’re not aware of the required customizations my advice is to update the theme as this is the easiest way to get that icon.

Thanks!

Hi @Inside Edge Hockey News

Please make sure that you’re using V3.1 of Newsmag theme and also Visual Composer is updated at V 4.12 which is included in theme’s path. V 3.1 is now available on themeforest: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Also try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches, purge cdn files if you’re using then test again.

Hi

For the moment the theme dos not have an option to hide the thumbnail on live search. A possible solution would be to edit td_module_mx2.php file and remove the featured image form module’s structure. You can also change the module used for ajax search with one which does not display the feature image: http://screencast.com/t/XQJmTMvIfh It can be used module 9 for example: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/category/module-9-category/

The search field is generated in header-menu.php, this is the code for it: http://screencast.com/t/odiDmTfyloOW

Let me know if you need further assistance on this.
Thanks!
