I am not very sure what you’re trying to do and what part of the site do you want to affect. Basically if you want to run php code must be edited the file which generate the page that you want to modify. For example if you want to change a post you have to edit the files corresponding with post template used.
Provide more specific details about what you’re trying to do so we can inspect it closer and maybe we can help but note that we can’t offer custom services for the moment. We can only point a way of how to achieve the desired result but you will have to implement the code.

On tablet you can’t have main menu item with a navigation links set for it and also a drop-down menu fur the same item, I’ve explained above why. You can create a simple menu item then in its sub-menu add a new item and set the navigation link on it. Like this on tablets when you click the menu item drop-down menu will be displayed and you will be able to click on the link set for sub-item.

You can customize the layout from Visual Composer using custom css but you have to be careful at the code and also make sure that the page won’t be affected by your customizations. To change the layout using custom code you will need lots of customizations and tests in order to achieve the desired result.
You have to find the most optimal; solution depending by desired layout for your page. If the html structure requires new spans for content the you have to make a new page template but if the layout can be customized only with custom css then you can use it without a custom post template.
Note that we can’t offer customization services at the moment so if you’re not aware of the steps that must be taken in order to complete this task my advice is to look for someone who can help you with implementation or hire a freelancer to do it for you.

Unfortunately our theme does not have an option to add icons for subcategories displayed in mega menu. To achieve that you will need some customizations in theme’s core files. Please provide the site’s url from above example so I can inspect its structure and maybe I can help.

Yes you can purchase Newsmag theme and use it instead of Newspaper. After you switch from Newspaper to Newsmag you have to regenerate your thumbnails and also make sure that you remove from pages all blocks that are not present in Newsmag theme.
Before makeing any changes make sure you do a full backup to your current wp-install and to the database also: https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups

We didn’t tested file upload with CF7 and I can’t provide an accurate answer in this regard. When I’ve checked the indicated link I’ve found a js error in browser’s console: http://screencast.com/t/hiXOSasrVejT This error breaks the jQuery for CF7 and the form do not work as expected. Our theme does not handle sit’s seo and for that you can us ea plugin like SEO By Yoast which is tested and works fine. Also theme’s code is written according with google standards regarding page structure and also have all necessary markups added in its code.
You can add additional markups for SEO by editing theme’s files if you want. Here You can find the files specified above: http://screencast.com/t/QmHgPEmMRPy Note that indicated article refers to a basic wp-theme with a very simple structure for files and very few options. The code, css classes and file structure is completely different and you can’t just copy paste some code in some files. First you will have to understand how post/pages are generated by our theme in order to make some changes in html structure.
This task involve time and also good coding skills in order to be achieved. If you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you as we can’t offer customization services at the moment.

Indeed this filter http://screencast.com/t/KKXXxN7Cz1 displys most popular posts from last 7 days but does not take into consideration post’s published date. Unfortunately we don’t have a filter which combine post’s published date and post’s views at the moment. We may implement this feature in future updates but for the moment I can’t promise anything.
