Hello,

The number of posts displayed in the loop (search template, author template and post category archives) is added here: https://www.screencast.com/t/8g5JWiIWRU5I
It is a wordpress setting

Thank you!

It seems the menufication plugin is causing the menu on the mobile theme.
The photon is a setting of jetpack tjhat is known to cause issues with our theme. Jetpack has grown into a huge plugin with lots and lots of settings and unfortunately not all opf them work properly. Photon is known to cause image issues.
Please remove menufication if you want to have a proper mobile theme header or use the code above as I have tested it again and it works properly. you probably have an open css tag in your custm css code already present before adding this one. That is the most common issue with css that does not apply. Here is an example of how the code applies from our side:

Hello,
Unfortunately our theme does not have any option to add or remove ads from specific posts. You can use an ad plugin for this such as adrotate or use css to hide the ad (if it’s not adsense) from a specific post.
Thanks.

hello,

It seems you are not using the block settings properly: https://www.screencast.com/t/6sgb7Wv4C6ZM
Please read the instructions onscreen and use this guide if you are not sure: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/

Thank you!

Hi,

The video icons seem to display just fine now: https://www.screencast.com/t/K5X4lml2O5HZhttps://www.screencast.com/t/URhHTDOnvvC

Hi,

Well I’m not sure as we have not tested it. Make another back-up of you current theme and try it out. If it does not work, then simply restore the back-up you made now. One more question. Did you maybe activate a child theme or the main theme after the update. Sidebars are kept separately for each one is the child theme will have it’s own sidebars and the main theme has it’s own sidebars.

Thank you!

Hi,

If you read the first part of the guide above you will see a mention of this: https://www.screencast.com/t/sjQ1M48yEv
Ignore the activation messages as the free version cannot be registered with the plugin author. Only if you buy the plugin can you revceive an registration code. If you have a bundled version there is no registration code so you cna ignore the message. It is a nag to get you to buy the plugin. But you do not have to as you already have full access (legally) to the plugin as provided by us using our license agreement with wpbakery

Thank you!

Hello,

Please use this guide to install your theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-wordpress/

Please do not upload the main theme package. Extract the main package and only upload newspaper.zip

Thanks.

Hi,

I’m not sure how you made the changes you mention. If they were made in the theme panel and not by altering the theme code, then the child theme should have nothing to do with the theme panel changes as they are kept in the database. If you edited the theme files, you have to add those files to the child theme as well.
The menus and widgets though will have to be re-created. WordPress considers the child theme as a new theme and each theme requires a menu and new widgets. Menus will only have to be re-applied, but widgets will not be present with the child theme and they will have to be recreated.
The sidebars (widgets) are kept by wordpress separately fort each theme. The child theme is considered as another theme.

Thanks.

Hello,

This is not a default theme setting. It could be grabbing the css from a plugin or a third party tool. Our ios slider works just fine on every device:

Hi,

Please also clear the cache as it could still be served from cache.
We suggest using wp super cache: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

Thank you!

Bogdan B.

Hello,

This could be a caching related issue as I see you get the mobile version of the site on desktop, tablet and mobile phones. Please only use wp super cache and these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
If you use a cdn pleas eonly use these settings:https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Also contact your hosting provider and have them disable any hosting side cache as this tends to be the case more and more these days.

Thank you!

Hi,

I understand.
In that case the exact code you posted above will do the trick. Just add it to the header style that you use. Here is an example for header style 1: https://www.screencast.com/t/FmsPYM2WW

You will have to change the shortcode though from this: [rev_slider alias=”slider1″] to your opwn slider shortcode.

Thank you!

Well there is no universal code as the theme has many elements and the gradient is not added in the same waqy on each one. The gradient you mention now on the category template is not even part of the blocks it is a category template . The code for it is separate from any other element:
.td-image-gradient-style8:after{
display:none!important;
}
.td_category_template_8 .td-category-header{
background-color:transparent!important;
}

Thanks.

Hello,

Our theme uses the default wordpress search so if you want to change the search terms you should find a plugin that can provide the option you need as our theme has no option to edit the terms of the wordpress search.

Thank you!

Hi,

If you are using the https, please try to follow the next steps for your Translations. Try to load your desired translation from panel and then you can see in left corner of your browser, an icon with a shield and then try to Load unsafe scripts, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/aLm2aAFv5

Hello,

You seem to have a cross origin problem: https://www.screencast.com/t/rHQ86hgK
This can be fixed like this topic suggests: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/strange-chinese-symbols-replaced-icons-and-arrows/

Thank you!

If you write relating to another topic…why not write in that topic? The solution provided there wirks. You just need to place the code in the theme panel->custom css box. Also make sure to verify the code you may already have in the theme panel as a tag that is not properly closed could make the css not work. You can also have caching enabled so you have to clear cache after you add the css.

Thank you!

Hello,

This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Thank you!

Bogdan B.

Please only use wp super cache and these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

Thank you!

Hello,

Sorry but our theme container is max 1068 pixels wide. You will not be able to implement any ad of 1070 px width.
You can insert an image ad of that size but it will be shrunk by 2 pixels by our theme in order to fit the content. You can try to add it in a custom ad spot and then use an ad box element in visual composer.

Thank you!

Hello,

Please provide an example of this blog page. You can create forms using the contact form 7 but depending on the type of page, you will have to add the code in different files for the form to show up on that specific page.
Please provide an url to the page you mention.

Thank you!

Thank you for posting your solution. I’m sure it will help our community.

Hello,

The theme panel has a setting that allows you to disable the registration form: http://screencast.com/t/SgK5fcdeuvj
If you want to remove it from the code then I think it will be enough to remove the call for the login modal from here: http://screencast.com/t/88yoIN9agt

Thank you!

Hello,

It is possible to change the module header but it will apply to all of the instances of that module, not just for the sidebar. you want to change the heading tag of a block title you will have to change it in the theme code here: http://screencast.com/t/1JthDyiA

Thank you!
