Unfortunately we have tons of suggestions and we must pick very carefully what we implement in our theme. We already have a social media plugin that comes with our theme so we do not plan on testing any social media plugins. I will add your suggestion to our list for future updates though and we will consider it.

FTP is simple. You just copy and paste files. If you know how to copy and paste, you know ftp. Simply use a ftp client or your cpanel the host provides (they usually have ftp tools) then access the wordpress files and look for the theme in wp-content/themes/ Delete the newspaper theme from there and copy and paste the new theme version (you download it from envato) in that folder. It’s the most basic thing there can be on a computer.

But the 2 images are identical in size. What tag are you referring to? What are you trying to achieve? Are you creating a custom block? do you want to add more elements to the block besides the thumb? I’m not understanding exactly how to help. Sorry. Try to inspect the code for module 10 and use it to replicate your custom built block.

The theme does not manage the permalinks or url’s they are handled by wordpress and can be changed by SEO Yoast The theme has no such setting.

These are custom css rules added for the specific demos. As you can imagine you can only get that result wither by installing the demo or altering the theme css. Each demo has it;s own custom css to provide the unique style.
You can use the browser inspector to compare the code from the beauty blog and the code from your element to figure out which rules have been changed.

Every css rule that is added custom for a demo is present in the demo_style.css file

Well the avatar was never meant to show there. There is no simple way of adding it except through customization. The theme has no setting to show the author avatar next to the author name.

The w3 validator unfortunately does not provide accurate results anymore.We have stopped trusting it altogether. Please use google’s structure data testing tool You can test any major site you can think about and you will see the w3c validator providing errors for each one.

You have to disable all instances of the lightbox. If you only removed the example I provided above, it will not work. There are more instances you have to search in the same file. use a text editor such a notepad++ and search for the other instances. I cannot do it for you unfortunately as we do not have a customization department.

You can disable the lightbox by disabling the general modal image but unfortunately there is no simple way of removing the lightbox accross the whole site. galleries and smart lists will still use it.
If you want to remove it for all elements, then yopu will have to find all instances of the magnific popup functions in the theme js file like so: http://screencast.com/t/iamVcHLE9W8m This is the one for galleries but there is a similar one for articles, for smartlists etc.
