Well it’s your choice at the end of the day. You can choose to delete or de-index the page or mark it as private or whatever setting you figure to be the best decision for your particular case. I prefer just deleting pages I do not use but again, every user has he’s own preference.

Thank you!

Hello,

If you want us to check anything on your site we will need the site to do it. On our end the review system works properly. You simply need to make it show stars instead of percentage like so: http://screencast.com/t/ofDmnDq5V

Thank you!

Hello,

Unfortunately we do not have any ETA on this. It is up to the development team to decide when they release the next update.

Hello,
WPMl and VisCom are not tested with our theme so we cannot say for sure if the plugins will work or not wioth our theme. Tested plugins mean not just that we tested them but it means we are constantly update our theme to keep up with the plugin updates and maintain compatibility between the theme and the plugins marked as tested.
Thank you!

You can simply delete it. If you do not want to use visual composer you will have to remove any pages that have been created with visual composer as they will not work anymore. If you do not know how to delete pages please refer to the wordpress documentation/forums for wordpress settings and features.
If you want to change the meta description for the homepage you can use seo yoast to do it. Please read this topic:
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/adding-meta-description-to-homepage-using-yoast/
Thank you!

Hello,
Well your videos are all the same it seems and they are loading as expected so I cannot find the issue. Please check again and see if the error is still there and provide an example of posts that display the issue. I tested the next and prev post feature but the videos were loaded properly every time
Thank you!

Hello,

Our theme actually has 2 search widgets. The standard one from wordpress and the “search suggestions” you mentioned The search suggestions is our theme ajax live search. If you want to remove the ajax search you can simply hide it like so with a simple css code:
#td-aj-search{
display:none!important;
}

Thank you!

The difference between them is one is a page created in visual composer, and the other is your homepage blog setting from wordpress. The homepage is created by wordpress and styled by the theme and the other one is a page you created. This is a page you created: http://curiosityhuman.com/curiosityhuman-top-10-stimulating-lists/
this is created by wordpress to display as your homepage: http://curiosityhuman.com/

Hello,

The newsmag theme width is smaller than newspaper’s. You can check this guide http://tagdiv.com/newspaper-vs-newsmag-how-to-choose-the-perfect-wordpress-theme-for-your-project/
We do not recommend altering the theme width in pixels as all theme elements depend on this fixed width. If you want to test this out, you can alter the css and increase the site width but keep in mind that the elements you add to the page will be affected by this: http://screencast.com/t/0B8dbafNF

Hello,

The best way to do it is indeed through FTP as Chris mentioned (Thanks Chris) You simply need to delete your old theme and then add the new theme files in the wp-content/themes folder.
The update script needs to be activated after you update the theme. Please note that you will also need to update all your theme plugins (visual composer, revolution slider, social counter). They are all included in the theme package.
There will be some elements that will have to be replaced or re-created as lots of things changed since newspaper 4

Thank you!

Hello,

The MX modules were never meant to be used outside of their scope. We have no easy solution to provide in this regard as the api is not covered by the theme support sorry. You will have to get some hired help on this as we have no customization department.

Thank you!

Hello,

The mobile theme plugin is still present in the theme package but we removed the install button because lots of people installed the mobile theme without knowing what id does and the implications that arise when using the plugin. We did add a link to the documentation for the plugin that now has instructions on how to install it though: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Hello,

Since the latest version the post meta info has been split in 2 options. One for the posts and one for the homepage blocks. If you onyl removed it from post settings, you also need to remove it from here: http://screencast.com/t/9QhY9oI7cbV

Hello,

Hello,

You do not need to buy visual composer as it’s already included free of charge.
In order to edit a page simply access page edit and enter backend editor. Then you have access to the blocks settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
If you want to edit wiodgets, you need to access the widgets area of wordpress: http://screencast.com/t/QCX6C9wF6czC

Thank you!

Hello,

I ran a few tests with this widget and it works as expected: http://screencast.com/t/6qr6i64lo8T
Are you sure you have the right sidebar selected on your post?
If this is not the case, please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
Let us know if you still have trouble with this.

Thank you!

Hello,

Unfortunately the front-end editor has been disabled in our theme because it caused a few issues that could not have been overcome. You can only use the back-end editor in our theme. We are building our very own builder that is a front end drag and drop builder. You can test it out here: https://github.com/tagDiv/td-composer (you install it as a plugin)

Than kyou!

Hi,

Well it does slow down the site that’s for sure but this depends on how may elements you use. Everything you add extra every plugin every block every animation every image slows down the site a tiny bit. All together if there are many complex elements will result in slow loading sites. Not using visual composer will result in a faster website but you will be better off optimizing your site rather than not using the theme blocks and grids. You will get better speeds just by optimizing your site rather than just removing VC. Try to optimize your webste using this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Test your site with google page speed and gtmetrix beforehand, and then test after the optimization. After you increased your speed try to simply disable visual composer and then test again to see how much the speed increases and if it;s worth it.

Thank you!

Hi
Please use this guide to set your homepage:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
you can use visual composer to create your own page layout and then set is as a homepage.
Thank you!
