Unfortunately the theme does not handle the shortcodes in your posts. They are added ‘by hand’ and not by the theme. They are typed in when you create the post. Sorry for the inconvenience but there is no easy solution to edit the shortcodes inside your posts.

Please update your theme to the latest version as the pagination issues were caused by the new version of wordpress. The latest version of the theme is 6.6.5 (there were quite a few updates since 6.5)

Unfortunately there is no one place to edit to change the color. You will need to search in style.css the default color which is:#4db2ec Then you can use a text editor and do a search and replace. Here is an example in notepad++ as it’s a free text editor and easy to use: http://screencast.com/t/YsOkmi8N3Ud
Now your color will be the default one so you can set the general color to default in the panel.
(The down-side will be that on every theme update you will have to make this modification as style.css will be changed every time.)

As far as we know there is no problem with the like counts. Please allow it some time to update as the count is not a live one. It will pull the info from facebook and it will also ad the like you get on your article directly (not through facebook)
I will add this anyway to our list so we can run a few more tests with it so please let us know if in a few days the counter will still have less likes then on facebook. (Please also clear your cache as it is affected by it)

I tested this on my end but could not recreate the issue. The search could not find any posts from drafts or from trash. Please test this yourself and create a new post. Save it as a draft and search for it. Then publish it or trash it directly and search again afterwards. My search could not return anything other than published posts.
If the search indeed returns results of deleted or draft articles it could be a plugin issue. Please disable all plugins except visual composer and clear your cache. Then try it again to see if the result is the same.

Unfortunately we are unsure why this occurs on your website as we have no reports of such errors. The settings are kept in the database, not the theme itself so that is what you should back-up to save settings, sidebars etc.

The sidebar issue can happen if you updated from newspaper 4 as it is a very old version and lots of things were changed from that version.

As for the activation issue, we are uncertain why this happened. Maybe there was a temporary server error. We have no reports of the activation not working or resetting.

Unfortunately there is no option to set a category for all posts. You can only set categories in the post screen.

This is not possible as the share counter works like this. It gathers ALL the likes from facebook and from the website. I assume you have more likes on your site then on facebook. The like button you can press on your site will increment the site counter but not the facebook counter and the theme cannot upload your likes to facebook as people who like your post are not required to be logged in to facebook.

I assume you use template style 3 as this is the only one that seems to display the full image without cutting it.
You can use this code instead of your own to have both values inside the same statement:

}
The value that must be adjusted is: ‘-200px’ This is the Y axis and you can adjust it by changing the value in pixels.

This is the way the theme was built. The sidebar only works in a 2/3 + 1/3 column layout. Unfortunately there is no easy solution to make the smart sidebar work on a 3 column layout. It will have to be made custom and we cannot offer any solutions for it. You will need to hire a freelancer for it if you really need this customization.
