Hello Vesa,

Unfortunately there is no option for that. You could try to use sticky posts, but our theme was built to ignore them. You can activate sticky posts by following this topic here https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/sticky-posts-2/ but it will need some further custom work to get it to work properly.

Thank you!

Hello Tramos,

Unfortunately we have not test any broadcast plugins and we cannot make any suggestions. You can try out a few of them and see how they work using a bit of trial and error.

Thank you!

Hello Mike,
I have checked your website on different mobile devices and the menu seems to work properly. I do not see any errors in your console either. Maybe it was a plugin you used and removed in the meantime…or a temporary glitch. Please let us know if the problem reappears.
Thanks.

Hello George,

Is ‘latest stories’ perhaps your page title? I have tested this on my end and this is the result i got when using a page title and no title on the left block: http://screencast.com/t/V6QblNh6D
What you can do is delete the page title and name the block Latest stories or just name the block something different than the page title. If there is no title to the block on the left and a title present on the block on the right, they will not be aligned. http://screencast.com/t/xuUFTiYt

I hope this helps.

Hello Ben,

You can update the theme and not worry about your content getting deleted. Your pages/posts are stored in the database and the update does not affect that. Just make sure to update your theme by following this tutorial: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and make sure you do a back-up before.

Thank you!

Hello ,

There are 2 ways to go about this. Either you look for a plugin that does that, or you use a php function to do it. Maybe something like https://www.doitwithwp.com/insert-the-current-datetime-in-posts-or-pages/
I hope this helps

Thanks.

Hello,
Please replace the previous code with this one:

body {
background-color: #dd3333;
}
.td-full-layout .td-banner-wrap-full, .td-full-layout .td-main-content-wrap {
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
width: 1164px;
}

The previous one seems to only work on pages. This one should do it.
Also if there is a background image set or a background color, it will not work. It is meant to work with the full layout of the site, not the boxed version.

Thank you.

Hello,

This option can be set from the theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/q1RTCg1sc
Scroll down to find the big grid you use and disable the category tag.

Thank you!

Hi,
In order to remove the ad on mobile phone you can add this custom css in the theme panel:

@media (max-width: 1018px) and (min-width: 768px){
.td-a-rec-id-post_style_11 {
    display:none;}}

For the second part you need to edit the core files of the theme. This requires a bit of code knowledge.
You cannot simply move the title from the bottom to the top.
You can copy the header from here: http://screencast.com/t/iKprjF3j
And add it to single_template_10.php You need to change the class to the title in order to target it with CSS:
http://screencast.com/t/L2FP8KZLth
Then you will have 2 post titles. One above and one below the video. Now you can use css to position the title above and hide the one below:

.td-post-title_custom{
  margin-left: auto;
  margin-right: auto;
  width: 400px;
}
.single_template_10 .td-post-title{
display:none;
}

This will require a bit more tweaking, but this should set you on the right path.

Thanks.

Hello tradermaker,

To remove the gradient, you can use this cutsom CSS:

.td-header-style-12 .td-header-menu-wrap-full .td-header-gradient:after{
display:none;
}

As for the second part, if you changed the header menu with custom css then it will behave like that. Please remove the code and change the color from the theme panel.

Thank you!

Hello,

Well you can’t create an adsense code yourself. You get it by creating an adsense account: https://www.google.com/adsense/start/
When you get the code, you simply paste it in the desired ad box in the theme panel like your screenshot suggests. The theme recognizes it automatically as it was built to work with adsense.
Note that after you get the adsense code it could take a while for the ad to appear.

Thank you!

Hello,

There could be a possible explanation for that. Please make sure you have the GD Library extension available in PHP. People seem to get this issue if they don’t have it. https://shopplugin.net/kb/installing-the-gd-library-for-php/

Thanks.

Hello,

In order to use font awesome icons you have to install the plugin: AGP Font Awesome Collection
Then you can use the shortcodes or the FA icon in TinyMCE: http://screencast.com/t/FofBXMeNITXQ

Hello,
Sorry for the delay, if you write in a closed topic, we won’t see the request only if we know to look for it.
I’m not sure what you mean, the header area does not display the background image: http://screencast.com/t/ijzfaN5xZu
The screenshot you provided requires username and password. Please provide more details and maybe a screenshot that can be viewed without authentication.

Thank you!

Hello,

If by banner you mean the header logo, then you can upload it from the theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/zNFljwYVG
If you are talking about the ad, you can place an add in the header ad box: http://screencast.com/t/yuogE6YT
Our theme was designed to work with adsense. If you want to use other ads, you can follow this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-other-ads/
You can also read other topics of our documentation. You will find many useful things in there. You can also check our video tutorials on our YouTube chamel: https://www.youtube.com/user/tagdiv
I hope this helps

Thank you!

Hello,

The mobile menu was designed to work with the mobile version of the theme, not other ones.
Unfortunately there is no setting for that and modifying the css to do that will be no easy task. We suggest you hire a freelancer to do it for you as we cannot provide custom work. You can hire freelancers from sites like studio.envato.com

Thank you!

Hello,

First of all, you have to understand that newspaper 6 is a totally different theme. It was built from scratch in order to provide a better ‘cleaner’ theme with many improvements and possibilities.
Many of the previous settings will not work in newspaper 6 so you have to change a few settings in your new theme version.

1) You can change ALL fonts of the theme from the theme panel. You just have to find the ones you need. For headings H1-H6 the option is here: http://screencast.com/t/SGl89bcpxhI4 for posts and for pages they are in the page section. If it is a module title, you have to find the modules and blocks article titles. There are a lot of font settings and they can be a bit confusing.
2) Shortcodes were changed in version 6 so you have to rebuild your page in visual composer. Also the CSS code for styling was changed in the new version so ALL custom modification made in version 4 will not work anymore
3) If you have custom modification to your titles, it will not work anymore. Please remove all CSS customization you had in the previous theme version.
As an alternative, you can use this css to adjust the title:

.page-id-8427 h3{
margin-top:0!important;
}

I hope this helps.

Thank you!

Hello,
The design can be replicated but you need a bit of CSS coding to pull it off. You can set background colors to transparent from the theme panel to every element: http://screencast.com/t/Lzn2C640NX
Then you can create a blank page in visual composer and set it as a homepage. Then you need to identify the page id so you can modify just the one page http://screencast.com/t/Qq9WvQ3BgV4
Then you can start to create your css code like so:

.page-id-2 .td-sub-footer-container{
display:none;
}
.page-id-2 .td-footer-wrapper{
display:none
}
.page-id-2 .td-main-content-wrap{
display:none
}

result: http://screencast.com/t/85HvlJCA9
This code will need adjustments but it is an example of how it can be done. If you cannot manage to build the css code on your own, you can hire a freelancer to do it for you as we cannot provide any custom work at the moment. We try to help set people on the right path.
I hope this helps.
Thank you!

Hi,

This is the default theme behavior, not a bug: https://forum.tagdiv.com/background-introduction/
There is no setting in the theme panel to keep your full-width content if a background color is set.
In order to do this, you have to modify the theme CSS.
You can leave the background color to default in the theme panel and apply a color to the background with CSS.
Add this code in the theme panel-custom css:

body {
background-color: #dd3333;
}
.td-full-layout .td-main-page-wrap, .td-full-layout .td-banner-wrap-full {
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
width: 1164px;
}

You can then change the color of the body in the code and also adjust the width of the container to your preference.

Hello Bmusiq,

Please make sure to update your theme to the latest version (6.5.1) and also update visual composer to the latest version (it comes with the latest version of the theme).
If the problem is still there after the update, please try to disable all your plugins except visual composer and check the playlist again.
I have tested this on my end and it works fine, even adding the playlist shortcode in a textblock.
If the problem is still there after disabling plugins please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide your login info so we can take a closer look at the problem and come up with a solution

Thank you!

Hello,

Please make sure you increase the values in the system status. These are my values: http://screencast.com/t/pMFcM9n4
Please follow this guide to increase these parameters: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
After you manage to set these options to the right value, you can use WpSmush again and see how it goes.

I have found a way to make the live search option work with products:
Just add 'product' in td_data_source.php like so: http://screencast.com/t/DEdcyMvg

margin-bottom:0!Important;

Hello,

The featured images work like this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image/
You have to be careful of the images you upload and check how they are displayed in different blocks. In the theme panel->block settings you will see a section for thumbnails: http://screencast.com/t/Dt7016hmpr6. These are the sizes used across the site. You need to upload images bigger than the block thumbnail you want it to display in. I hope this helps.

Thank you!
