Hello Rouli5,
You can set the tag color in the theme panel. When you edit a specific category you can see a tag color box:

Hello,

I am sorry but our theme does not come with random ads. They originate somewhere else. Try to do a spyware/mallware scan. Check your website on a different device and also provide a link to your website so we can take a look and see if these ads come up at our end as well.

Thank you!

Hello dragon,

The easiest way to do it is to use a redirect plugin. something like https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-301-redirects/

Thank you!

Hello,
You can find the SpeedBooster plugin in the plugins folder that comes with the theme: http://screencast.com/t/gwcR2LR8bhttp://screencast.com/t/5iAAS7XWVOb.
As for minification, we cannot make any suggestions as we have not found a plugin that can do it without errors.
You can read more about page speed in this tutorial: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Thank you!

Hello Dao,

If you already have a demo installed you can uninstall it from http://screencast.com/t/g2MTQ6F2,
If you do not use any of these demos, you can delete them from the files: newspaper/includes/demos
They will still appear in the panel as option. You can remove these options by commenting out their code in td_config.php : http://screencast.com/t/4qfsREugm

Thank you!

Hello Ivan,

As a quick solution to your problem, you can comment out this section in the speedbooster file http://screencast.com/t/RZLIOPUNdqh to override the plugin compatibility.
We hope in a future update we will be able to implement more plugins in the compatibility function.

Thank you!

Hello,

As an alternative, you can have older posts on your homepage, you can add a different block element and set the specific posts you want to display in that block by tag.(https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/) Just tag your older posts you want to bring to your homepage and set the specific tag in block settings to filter by that tag. The only downside is you cannot have latest and older posts in the same block.

Thank you!

Hello George,

Unfortunately, you have to regenerate your thumbnails again by using a different thumb regenerate plugin.
Try it with force regenerate thumbs.

Thanks.

Glad you figured it out. The minify options always create problems. At the moment we have no simple way to minify the code automatically.

Thanks.

Hello George,

This error could come from the minification of Javascript. You have an error in your console about it: http://screencast.com/t/FBsdanMEN1V
Please disable all your plugins except visual composer and check the menu again.
If the problem is still there let us know.

Thanks.

Hello,

The page that you tried to change uses visual composer elements (a text block more precise). These titles will not be changed from the theme page fonts. You can change the modules and blocks font as well but the text box is a visual composer element and it’s title is not controlled by the theme. You can target it with css if you want to change it:
this will override all your headings to the font you want:

h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6{
font-family: Helvetica Neue!important;
}

Or if you want to target just the text block:

.wpb_text_column h1{
font-family: Helvetica Neue!important;
}

Thank you!

Hello,

Different freelancers have different prices. It is hard to say how much they will charge you. It will not be a very difficult job for someone who knows CSS well enough.
Modifications will not be a problem with the theme as long as they are just design choices and they do not interfere with functionality. And like i showed you above, most of the work can be done from the theme panel.

Thank you!

Hello,

You can control excerpts from the theme panel on every module and block separately: http://screencast.com/t/O6jTY85NK
You can read more about our theme’s excerpts here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/excerpts-introduction/
I hope this helps

Thank you!

Bogdan B.

Hello,

Unfortunately that option will not work with our theme. Our modules and blocks use custom made excerpts that are controlled by the theme and you can set their length from the theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/O6jTY85NKhttps://forum.tagdiv.com/excerpts-introduction/
As an alternative you could use block 12: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-12/ which has a read more button at the bottom.

Thank you!

Hello Ben,

Please provide more details to the padding you want to reduce, because this is different for all header styles. Please specify the header style used and maybe a link to your website so we can create the CSS code for your site directly. Both of your requests are possible with custom CSS.
For the second request try this CSS in the theme panel:

.td-main-content-wrap, .type-post{
background-color: rgba(70,86,175,0.55)!important;
}

result: http://screencast.com/t/6hPWS6lOb

Hello Pandian,

Please make sure you update your theme to the latest version and also update visual composer. (It comes with the theme) https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/. The old accordion element is deprecated and you need to use the new accordion that comes with the latest version of visual composer. Unfortunately you will have to recreate your FAQ section.
As for the repeating posts, i could not see them repeating. It is random as you said, but a theme update could fix that as well. Just make sure the blocks are set to display latest posts not random ones.
Let me know how it goes!

Best of luck!

Hello ombirek,

It seems that on the lionk you provided there is a background image and the site is boxed: http://screencast.com/t/qRXiBafcEDRl.
If the problem reappears, please check this issue without any plugins. Just disable all of them except visual composer. if the problem is still there let us know.

Thank you!

Hello Paul,
You can add a block element to the sidebar. For example a block 16: http://screencast.com/t/f85wDwKFB, then configure the settings to it like title, category filter,number of posts to display and pagination (load more button).http://screencast.com/t/jDvj8vdb6hhttp://screencast.com/t/gu75zK04xIa
result: http://screencast.com/t/wS81a5XVut7
You can read more about block settings in our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/
Thank you!

Hello,

If you want to use the video demo, you can import just the layout without content from the theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/PF1H95NhiV
You can then chose the block style from block settings in visual composer to get the colored image overlay: http://screencast.com/t/5P2Jhvilshttp://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-3/ Chose the big-grid style you want. you can also see them here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/category-grid-styles/
WHen you create a new block element in visual composer you can chose the style from the block settings: http://screencast.com/t/FOh0OB5Xm

Thank you!

Hello,
If you have a plugin installed to show a timer in the meta section, you can try to alter the theme files and use a ‘do_shortcode’ function: <?php echo do_shortcode('your shortcode here');?> and place it in the post template you use on your post: http://screencast.com/t/fc7VGtvEqQcz
Every post template has a file to go with it. The default is without a number to it. The others correspond to their post template number.
Thank you!

Hello,
There is no option in the theme panel for that. The letter spacing maybe comes from the font you use for these titles. You can reset the letter spacing with CSS for each title or for all titles at once. It seamns all your h4 titles have this option.

Try this custom CSS for all the titles:

.td_block_wrap h4 {
letter-spacing:0px!important;
}

Or if you want to target a specific block, you have to get the class of the block with your browser inspector:
http://screencast.com/t/6rr8yJTYDSCd

Thank you!

Hello George,

Thank you for your kind words.
Unfortunately the theme has no option to do that. You will need custom work in order to do it. You can find the related articles file here: http://screencast.com/t/fVg9v7J7. It will not be an easy job to remove each section from the tab layout and place it on the post page. We suggest you hire a freelancer if you really want this done because we cannot offer any custom work at the moment.
As an alternative, you can try to use visual composer on posts and setup a few blocks but this option is not tested and can create some issues. You can check the option here: http://screencast.com/t/VIK0eLoAsJT, but you will have to add the blocks on every post you make if you use this option.

Thank you!

Hello,
Have you also tried to check system status? Our theme has a few requirements in order to work properly. You can check the link above and check your settings. If this is not the case, try to disable all your plugins except visual composer. Maybe it’s a plugin that isn’t compatible with our theme.
Thank you.

Bogdan B.

Hello,

Please make sure you install the visual composer plugin that comes with the theme: http://screencast.com/t/74bsUYY7xX And make sure you use the latest theme version.
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
If this is the case, then try to disable all other plugins except visual composer and check the error again.
Let us know how it goes.

Thank you!
