Please, notice that we do not encourage to use such a Custom CSS code to increase the logo section because the theme layout could be more easily broken, sorry! Make sure that your logo size is according to our documentation because if you will check our demo preview you will see that the logo works as expected. Try to use our logo from Newspaper, take it from demo preview, add it to your website and check the results. Clear all the caches after this and see the results.

Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option that allows you do change the boxed layout to be a little bit wider, sorry! That thing means to increase the theme width and we do not recommend doing this because you can easily break the theme, sorry! If you want to do this, you should do it yourself because this is not a simple task and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this case, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!

Please try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way to another sub-domain for testing and check the results. These settings should be there all the time if the theme was installed according to our documentation. also, check the system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation.

If you want to disable the comments count badges, notice that you can do this from Theme Panel from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Obdv8gCh Notice that option will turn off/on this option for the whole website. The theme does not have any such an option that allows you to turn off only the posts which have 0 comments, sorry! Either all or none!
Regarding on footer section, if you want to control it, you should do it from Widgets section in Theme panel, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/YaGA2dpSNsAQ Notice that our theme has a bit list with more footer styles. So, if you want to create your own footer template, you should choose the Footer Style 5 and place in Footer 1,2,3 anyone block or element you want for displaying them.

First of all, you should make a full backup to your database to avoid losing all the data. The clean install means to make a new theme install for a new sub-domain, without any untested plugins or additional customization. On the default state, the theme should work as expected and all the theme settings should have to be there. Most likely, this problem happens due because you have changed the original name of main theme and child theme. Please leave the default name which is in the theme’s packet because if you will change them, the multi-purpose will does not work. Try to do this and let us know. (Newspaper for main theme and Newspaper-child for child theme).
