I’ve tested this feature on our theme and everything seems to be all right and the image is not showed twice. Please remove all active plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches and try it again.

You can customize the block in Visual Composer->Block settings like that: http://screencast.com/t/3UEIxozz3 You can filter the posts after more categories. If you want to have a TITLE and BREAD CRUMBS please select in Theme panel->Pages->Page Attributes->Page builder+page title like this: http://screencast.com/t/wwMNWY5Yhans . By default, our theme does not have this option activated.

Our theme is not tested with Visual Composer for posts and also can appear several errors.
After using Visual Composer for posts, i’ll recommend to use the code below:

For what you want to achieve it is necessary more customization, custom work. Using only Css style is not a good way because you alter the quality images. It’s about aspect ratio and all of the images have an specific aspect ratio. If you modify, there not looking good. Everywhere in site, when you are using block 16 – td_module_mx7, the images will have display none.

Your problem persist because you are using a quite large font size for Newsticker and your native language do not support this and some letters are cut. I recommend you adjust this value in Theme panel like this: http://screencast.com/t/wcrPHY7w

I’ve checked your website and i saw the cause of the problem about your feature image-you are using Facebook link to video: http://screencast.com/t/H52Bu6VNk0Y

In our theme you should use only link from Vimeo or YouTube. It will be embedded in the post and the thumb used as the featured image of this post.
You need to choose Video Format from above to use Featured Video.

We recommend to use only with those post templates: Post style default, Post style 1, Post style 2, Post style 9, Post style 10, Post style 11
