Hi,
The logo image from momentum is a svg, you need to use tagDiv Composer select the logo element and remove the svg code from svg tab – https://i.imgur.com/jRt7D5U.png
Thank you!
Hi Aldis, as @simchris mentioned, those feeds are not generated by our theme, are from WordPress and extra plugins you are using, but if you have a SEO plugin you can check the settings related to rss feeds – https://rankmath.com/kb/disable-rss-feeds/
Thank you!
Hi,
I saw many users using the Ad Inserter, so I believe that it should be working with the theme without problems.
Thank you!
Hi,
If you no longer want the website to be boxed check in the theme panel to be sure that you do not use a background color – and the boxed version is unchecked – https://i.imgur.com/s6xkqkR.png also you are not using any background image – https://i.imgur.com/GfALDMv.png
Related to Contact forms, make sure that you remove the css from all places, the css can be set in the theme panel, can be set using live css, can be set inside tagDiv Composer using a css element or even in a child theme, after that you need to make sure that the cache is cleared.
Thank you!
Hi,
That popup is from mobile menu, but I see that no you no longer use the mobile menu and you are using a the header categories list and for login the same header login as on desktop.
Hi,
Can you please make a test using only tagDiv Plugins? Most of the time this situation is caused by a plugin conflict.
Thank you!
Hi,
This situation is related to the cache plugin you are using, this can not or do not have the option to cache the mobile version separate and deliver the mobile cache when a mobile is used and the cache of desktop version and a desktop is used. IN this situation if you want to keep the current cache plugin (or server/CDN cache, you need to disable the tagDiv mobile theme plugin and make sure that all cache and object cache is cleared).
Thank you!
Hi,
I remember a similar situation and it was a plugin conflict, but I can not longer remember the plugins that have been in conflict. Please check this using only the theme plugins (tagdiv plugins only) and see if the problem persists.
Thank you!
Hi,
This deepens on the elements from your website, there are elements that use the global settings from the theme panel – https://i.imgur.com/uP8AcOm.png but most of them use fonts per page and per template, those can be edited using tagDiv Composer – https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/
Thank you!
Hi Ari,
1. You need to use tagDiv Composer edit the homepage and select the logo from header, then select the svg tab and remove the code from there – https://i.imgur.com/zkR1mV6.png this operation is need to be done on all header logos you are using (header, footer, sticky header, mobile header) – https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-logo-newspaper/
2. From blocks it can be removed globally using the theme panel settings from Theme panel > blocks settings > meta info on modules/blocks – https://i.imgur.com/daSq2MT.png and for removing it from articles use tagdiv Composer to edit the single post template, and use the right click on element you want to delete – https://i.imgur.com/rl6q5O2.png – https://i.imgur.com/GTJmGPV.png
3. Unfortunately the element for the location is not working like that to display for each user the location where he/she is accessing the website, sorry!
Thank you!
Hi,
Checking the error message is like you try to use the theme with theme plugins that has different versions that are not compatible with the theme. Here is what I recommend.
Connect to your themeforest account and get the theme from there, then use a cPanel or FTP to replace the current theme (doing this you’ll have the latest theme version and it will be clean without any modifications), after that try to login via wp-admin and if is working, then go to Newspaper > plugins and install/update the theme plugins from there.
Thank you!
Hi,
Yes, those settings are related to check plugin you’ll need to check the settings for css and js, most of the time the situation is caused by the options action on CSS and JS.
Unfortunately, we didn’t tested the LightSpeed cache plugin officially with our theme, therefore we can not say exactly what are the settings that can create the problems.
How to Make the Site Faster
Thank you!
Hi,
You can use the tagDiv Composer, edit the homepage and select the blocks, use the filter and sort to filterer the articles you want in each block and how those to be short. For more details you can use this documentation – https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
Thank you!
Hi,
Unfortunately the link provided is not working, that is only for logged users.
Also, I checked the website https://www.thelaurelct.com/ and this is using a theme version from 2016, so most probably there are elements that no longer work as it should and the theme has many vulnerabilities, I will recommend a full backup and a complete update to last version.
Thank you!
Hi emmalabbe,
Unfortunately a license can be used only on 2 domains, sorry! But if you have a second one, you can use that one to activate the theme on the 3th domains (go to system status and make sure that the second license is used there, if not, use the rest key button and after that use the key to activate the theme).
In case that us still have problems with the license, but those are not used on more then 2 live domains, then you can contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the license keys to check them were and how are used.
Thank you!
Hi,
Normally the option https://i.imgur.com/2ygonOI.png should apply on all images set with classic or Gutenberg editor, as long dos do not have manually set the modal off per image.
Hi,
You can use a css like this one:
.tds-title-over-image:before {
border-radius: 5px;
}
This will apply globally on all images that are display using this element, but if you want only on some of them, you can use an extra class on element and add the extra class to the css.
Thank you!
Hi,
To edit the fonts for the pre-design website you are using you’ll need to use tagDiv Composer on pages and cloud template and adjust globally on page/template the from Manager > Fonts, for more details, please use our guide from here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/
Thank you!
Hi,
If you have a shortcode and you want to make it to look the same as our blocks, then you’ll need a developer and designer. But what do you want to display? Our blocks can display articles, pages, CPTS, so maybe it is no need to use a custom shortcode.
If the problem appeared after the shortcode has been set on the page, the the problem is related to it and it can be resolved only by removing that shortcode, usually this can be done using a page revision https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/complete-guide-to-wordpress-post-revisions/
You can save elements in tagDiv Composer by using the right clock on them and save as element – https://i.imgur.com/pTRr9Hm.png
Thank you!
Unfortunately this is the only way that can be uses currently. But I will add it on our list as improvement and our developers will check it out.
Hi,
I checked the site a little and it doesn’t seem to be using excessive blocks or many ajax options that make a lot of requests to the database, I think that’s why the few results from the Query Monitor plugin are there, but if the WP Media Folder plugin indicates that many queries, you need to see if these are all the site queries made by the plugin or just from this page, if it’s from the site, then it’s ok, but if they are from the page, then something is wrong. If you want, we can investigate further, for this you will need to have a complete backup of the site and the database and only then contact us by email at contact@tagdiv.com where you provide us with wp-admin access to the site and include the link to this topic so we can identify you faster.
Thank you!
Hi,
For an old header (that is using a standard template) you can remove the popup login from the theme panel > header > sign in / join -> https://i.imgur.com/9I27kUV.png for a cloud header, use tgaDiv Composer to edit the header and use the right click on the popup element to delete it – https://i.imgur.com/DwkwrEd.png
Thank you!
Hi Koder,
What you can try if the 2 blocks have the same categories to display is to use the offset option and set for example offset 3 on the firs block so the second one should display the first 3 articles and the firs one should skip them.
I hope this will help you!
Thank you!
