Hi,
This situation appears because the request is forbidden – https://i.imgur.com/MzuTWZI.png this can be from a code set for restrictions in .htaccess, it can also be from security plugins, cache plugins sometimes from ModSecurity module when it’s enabled.
Thank you!

Hi Amit, the Ajax view count from the theme panel is used only for when a cache plugin us enabled. To no longer have those Ajax calls, then it will be need to totally remove the view count from the posts, only doing this the Ajax view count for post views will no longer be made (- https://i.imgur.com/k1QeCiQ.pnghttps://i.imgur.com/HpvVC22.png).
Thank you!

Hi Steve Johnson, according to that message seems to be a problem with the id, this is not set as auto-increment to can add an unique key for each post in post meta.
Here is a guide that can help you – https://www.newzealandgoonline.co.nz/how-to-fix-wordpress-database-error-duplicate-entry-0-for-key-primary-for-query-insert-into-wp_usermeta/ but before taking any action make sure that you have a full backup for database.
Thank you!

Hi, That one from your example is a post with video format, so it is not required to have the youtube api, what it is possible is that the link to not be correctly set. Please make sure that it is set like this – https://i.imgur.com/t8SJE2s.pnghttps://i.imgur.com/csUK2Z6.png

Hi Sgommo,
When AdSense is not displaying ads , there could be several reasons for this issue. Here are some common troubleshooting steps you can follow to identify and resolve the problem:
1. Verify AdSense Account and Approval
– ensure your AdSense account is active and approved.
– check if your site is listed in the “Sites” section of your AdSense account and that it’s approved.
2. Check AdSense Code Implementation
– verify that you have correctly placed the AdSense Auto Ads code in the section of your HTML pages.
– ensure there are no typos and that the google_ad_client is correctly set to your AdSense publisher ID.
3. Check for Conflicting Scripts
– ensure there are no conflicting scripts or ad blockers on your site that might be preventing the ads from displaying.
– disable any ad blockers you might have installed in your browser while testing.
4. Review AdSense Policy Violations
Check for any policy violations or warnings in your AdSense account. Violations can prevent ads from being displayed.
5. Monitor Ad Load and Placement
– be aware that Auto Ads might not display ads immediately or on every page load. Google uses machine learning to optimize ad placements, which means ads may appear inconsistently as it learns the best places to show them.
– ensure your site has sufficient content. Sites with very little content might not display ads effectively.
6. Examine Browser Console for Errors
– open your website and use your browser’s developer tools to check for any JavaScript errors or warnings that might be preventing the ads from loading.
7. Check AdSense Reports
– visit the “Reports” section of your AdSense account to see if there are any ad impressions being recorded. If impressions are low or zero, it could indicate an issue with ad serving.
8. Contact AdSense Support
– if none of the above steps resolve the issue, consider reaching out to AdSense support for further assistance.
The list is quite long, but I hope it will help you!

Hi,
Please make a full backup for the website and please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a temporary wp-admin access and a link to this topic.
We’ll check it as soon as possible.

Hi giantants,
The first ting is to make sure that you have the last theme (Newsmag v5.4.2) and WordPress version.
After that please check the plugin compatibility, for this, pleas do a test to see if tagDiv Composer is working when you have only tagDiv plugins enabled. Most of the time there is a plugin that is blocking the others.
Other thinks that can be checked are php version, try with php 7.4, and eventually 8-8.2. Another thing will be to check if there are any code restriction, modSecurity enabled.
When tagDiv Composer is Not Working
Thank you!

Hi,
Please set the cloudflare as in our guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Normally the cache should be cleared any time when a post is publish or updated.
How to clear cache efficiently when publishing a post?Thank you!

Calin

Hi Setrey,
Normally if you are using standard templates, then the theme will automatically set a H1 on logo if there is no element for page title in the page/template, if there is a page title, then the H1 will be on it and not on logo.
Also, if there are using cloud templates then the H1 can be removed using the theme builder, tagDiv Composer.
Now in case that you want to edit the files, then I will recommend using a child theme and the files that should be edited are:
– wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/header/logo-h1.php (replace the h1 with anther html tag like p/div/span …) – https://i.imgur.com/VTXpfNM.png
– wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/header/logo-text.php (if you are using text logo) – https://i.imgur.com/9dGOsJI.png

Now for mobile theme if is used then it can be edited from here – wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/parts/logo.php unfortunately this will not work in a child theme.

I hope this will help!
Thank you!

Hi,
1. Doing this should also bring some better results in pagespeed.
2. You can try a plugin like this one – https://wordpress.org/plugins/host-webfonts-local/ this should resolve the problem and there will not be necessary to set a new font (this will download the google fonts locally and those will be more fast deliver).
The WP Rocket cache plugin is one of the best for our theme, but since it’s a premium cache plugin and the costs are more over the theme costs (that is one per live) we avoid to as our clients top buy it, but this is the best one with our theme. It can also be used the lightspeed this can also provide good results. Also for any cache plugin we recommend a CDN (free version).
Thank you!

Hello seansingh, unfortunately the theme and WordPress do not have this option for category page, the only options that the theme adds on category are those – https://i.imgur.com/qHQUKxa.png if you need the sort posts alphabetically on Category Page you can try some plugins or custom functions.
If you want to try a code, you can try this one – https://pastebin.com/sfwXPMyP this code should be set in functions.php in a child theme – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-child-theme-support/
Thank you!

Calin

Hi BOLD254, unfortunately the Newsmag theme was not made to be a full width theme it was made as a boxed theme. As simchris mentioned some elements as footer and header can be adjusted using css but the content and elements inside it will be quite hared to do.
If you need a full with website then as simchris said you’ll need a theme that offers more control over the layout and this is the Newspaper theme – https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609
Thank you!

Hi,
Indeed you should use an inner row set the line after that set the inner row to have set in css tab on margin top a -30 (adjust the number after your need) in that row, and then set an z-index for it if you want it behind the elements from the row – https://i.imgur.com/qLfwfPe.pnghttps://i.imgur.com/6OIWBSA.png
Thank you!

Hello,

1. This can be done if you are using a mobile template – https://i.imgur.com/YqXXnl3.png or mobile theme plugin, if not then the only solution will be to hide them using a css (or if is a single post template you can use the option from the image in the css tab to hide it on mobile – https://i.imgur.com/Gwm7rwu.png)

2. The best way for optimize a font will be to use for the website only that font and this to be locally stored. After that the google fonts to be disabled in the theme panel – https://i.imgur.com/slZZ3Qm.pnghttps://i.imgur.com/282IEQJ.png
https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/ – also you can check on each page and cloud template the fonts using the manager – https://i.imgur.com/XyqmGYp.png also you can use CDN and this provides now a new options to optimize the fonts – https://blog.cloudflare.com/cloudflare-fonts-enhancing-website-privacy-speed

3. This is because the lazy load helps the speed of the website but is creating LCP when the images starts to load. Now the options that should be used can differed from user to use, some of them prefers to use the theme option and choose this one – https://i.imgur.com/XWN5PHm.png to reduce the LCP, but if you are using a cache plugin, then you can disable the theme option for lazy load and use the one from the cache.

Thank you!

Calin

I see what you mean, this is usually an optimize option that will load the page faster on mobiles and the video will start loading only after the holder is clicked/touched by user/visitor.
Thank you!

Hi Tceruped, can you please provide some more details and some screenshots with the problem about the activation key? The theme is activated but you receive a message?
Also, about the gray bar above articles, are you referring to this – https://i.imgur.com/jHltR9K.png ? this is from the logo text.
Thank you!

Calin

Hi simchris, so you’ll need to assign the single post template for a specific category, to do this you’ll need to make the above steps + a code in child theme in functions.php that is checking the current category from the post, the code is this one – https://pastebin.com/ze681p93
I hope this will help you!
