Hi fwoedit,
I’m sorry that my colleagues may have failed to answer you in turn. Unfortunately, I can’t tell you exactly why.
I just created a page with CU Bakery and it seems to work on mobile theme plugin like any other page created with another builder, more specifically, it is not displayed, and content must be created in the mobile editor according to our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/
Now if you have somehow created posts with WPBakery, then this may be a problem, from the beginning we recommended that this builder be used with our theme only for pages -> https://i.imgur.com/LVfaZJA.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
If those are not the issues you have, please provide more details and some screenshots.
Thank you!
Hello,
If the code need to be set before the body tags, then the code should be set here -> https://i.imgur.com/F5M9ggu.png or if is a simple js -> https://i.imgur.com/ZVGznft.png
Now if you can set the code inside the cloud template (this mean it will be between the body tags), then you can try to set the code in a column text or text with tile elements, in the text area.
Now the problem with the code to be apply on specific categories it is a little tricky. If the code is set global, the I believe it should be use a condition to apply the cod only on specific categories. If the code can be set on cloud templates, then you can use different cloud templates and assign them individual.
Thank you!
Hi thoughtful,
Indeed there were a few reports related to the cache and ajax loader. We may have a solution, but for now we can’t say it’s 100% functional because it hasn’t been tested.
If you are willing to make a full backup to the site and contact us by email (contact@tagdiv.com) we will try to implement the fix in the code and to monitor the site together to see if the problem persists or not.
Thank you!
Hello nieuwsopbeeld,
Indeed, when using the theme on multisite with subfolders, the license from the main theme should be shared with the rest of the websites in the subfolders.
Unfortunately, we did not test this on multisite with different domains.
Only one license can be used on a theme, and if you use only one theme and it is shared on the network, then the problem is even more complicated, because the license may not work on the network. (I believe this is your case and if is like this and you agree, we’ll like to check it and see there is something that our developers can do).
Now if the theme can be accessed from each site, then the license can be reset from Newspaper> system status and activated with a different license.
Thank you!
Hello samiullah,
I understand how you say, unfortunately, at the moment our theme has no animations, it only has hover effects -> https://i.imgur.com/FyiAczW.png
We hope to add some animations to the blocks, but I can’t tell you exactly when they will be added.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello giasemis ,
I checked your website and I see that on post cloud templates you are using the Single Post Bg Featured Image element, this will not display the image height entirely, what I suggest is to replace that element with the Single Post Featured Image (this can be done suing tagDiv Composer), also please choose to display a thumb that has the height 0 (in this way the image will be fully display without to be crop) -> https://i.imgur.com/6frfHCa.png
I hope this will help you!
Hello,
First, I want to make sure that I was able to inform you of all info about the mobile versions that our theme can have.
1. Responsive version, this is by default when you install the theme and you do not use mobile page or mobile theme plugin.
2. Mobile page/template this allows you to create with tagDiv Composer and cloud a different layout and set different elements for mobile and iPad/tablet and it will overwrite the responsive version.
3. Mobile theme plugin, this is a light theme version for mobile that will overwrite the mobile page templates and the responsive version of the theme.
So when you have a mobile page/template this will be used instead of a responsive version, but if you also have the mobile theme enabled, this one will override both of them.
How to combine them? Yes, this can be possible, for example the mobile page/template will apply only on that page or cloud template that is assigned. But what to do if you want to use a mobile theme plugin too? If you use mobile theme, in Gutenberg editor it is an option to disable the mobile theme in current post/page, if you use the option, then it will be use the mobile page/template (if is assigned) or the responsive version.
So in your case you can disable the mobile theme on the homepage -> https://i.imgur.com/NX57q4t.png or if you do not want it at all, disable the plugin or use it only for amp -> https://i.imgur.com/Grlz5Ee.png.
Here is also a video that explains all those -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hello,
I did some tests and everything seems to be fine for me. Please try to leave that file blank instead of 0, and please make a test using only tagDiv plugins to make sure that no plugin interferes with the theme. (if you are using object cache please disable clear it)
Also, if there is still a problem, please provide the link to the page to inspect those 2 blocks.
Hello mgiannelis,
The theme already has the function to see and test certain elements per view port -> https://i.imgur.com/oVx7OZj.png The Single Post Featured Image element can also be used, then the image will generally be displayed at its width, and the height will be adjusted automatically. if you do not want this, then you need to select a thumb with a fixed width and height -> https://i.imgur.com/vLBLdvX.png
When Single Post Bg Featured Image is used then the height of the element can be set and the image can be set as a background image with css so that it fits in the height and width of the element (that’s why it appears cropped).
What is recommended if you want all images to appear the same everywhere on your website is to use images that are the same size.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
For the classic editor plugin, the sidebar can be removed only from them files, for this you need to go in -> wp-content/themes/Newsmag/editor-style.css and comment these lines of css -> https://i.imgur.com/MIuDveD.png
If you are using the Gutenberg editor, then there will be no sidebar in editor, this will look like this -> https://i.imgur.com/F6PUBhU.png
I hope this will help you!
Hello,
I did several tests (I used the version 5.2 and 5.2.1) and for me everything seems to work ok.
Indeed, using the mobile theme plugin, de desktop content of pages will not be displayed, this need to be set without a theme builder in the mobile editor -> https://i.imgur.com/TYLjOBt.png, or you can disable the mobile theme from those pages -> https://i.imgur.com/42Bj2XY.png. Theme mobile theme plugin is working like this since was introduced on Newsmag theme.
If the mobile theme plugin is not used, then the responsive version is displayed on mobile -> https://i.imgur.com/F30wF3N.png
If this is not the case for you, I would like to check these issues. For this you need to make a backup to the website and contact us at the email address contact@tagdiv.com, where please provide the site credentials and some screenshots of the problem before and after the update.
Thank you!
Hello venusta,
If I understood correctly this problem is with Buddypress and mobile theme plugin, is it right?
Unfortunately, I did not understand exactly what you downgraded, the theme or the Buddypress plugin?
Thank you!
Hi pixerize,
Yes, I understand what you are saying, these thumbs are generated for each image that is added to the media. What I recommend is to activate only the thumbs on the blocks / modules you use. In this guide you’ll see how to do check each block what thumb use -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-theme-thumbs/
Also for thumbs already created what you can do is use a thumbs regeneration plugin that can delete unused thumbs (this way more space will be freed up)
I hope this will help you!
Hi fredredwoods, I see that the offurkan-g suggestions were better and now the slider is clickable even above the title.
Regards,
Hi,
For this you can use the acf plugin and you can display the results:
of the acf, on single post templates using the “Single post custom filed” element -> https://i.imgur.com/x7z7wsu.png -> https://i.imgur.com/SIFgULx.png
Thank you!
Hello,
I checked some of your posts and I see that now the score is over 90 -> https://i.imgur.com/OKthvHf.png -> https://i.imgur.com/GMKYaCD.png -> https://i.imgur.com/HBRYSQi.png

How to Improve Speed Index (SI) on WordPress
Thank you!
Hello Highlifeng,
That it is because the old version was made based on standard templates that can be edited using the settings from the theme panel. Those options can be bring back if you activate the tagDiv Standard Pack plugin.
The new version of theme is based on cloud templates, those can be edited with tagDiv Composer on frontend, so you can see in real time how the website will look.
Also, here are some video tutorials -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoGQ0d5kIBg

Hello,
There are any differences if you are logged in or logged out?
Maybe you can use the steps from this guide to make the website faster -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Thank you!
Hello,
You can try to use the revisionon the single post template -> https://i.imgur.com/LRisGeD.png -> https://i.imgur.com/9zt35YY.png
The content and layout of cloud templates is stored in your database.
If the problem is still persisting, please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com, please make sure that you have a full backup for your website and that you provide wp-admin and cPanel access and include the link of this topic to identify you.
Thank you!
Thank you!
Hello,
Since there is no option for this, we can try to provide some css
Maybe this one will work better:
.td-is-sticky .wpb_wrapper {
top: 100px!important;
}
Thank you!
Hello,
All the functionalities of the site are in tagDiv Composer, when it is deactivated, the pages created with it will show only shortcuts and the site will contain only text and images.
What you can do is try to improve your site speed -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ (the same steps can be used for Newsmag, the only difference is that Newsmag do not have the tagDiv CSS Analyzer tool).
I hope this will help you!
Hello,
Is not mandatory, it is just recommended, so if you want you use it, then install a object cache for the amp, if not, then you do not use it.
Thank you!
Hello,
We just saw that we also received an email from you about this subject, therefore we’ll continue this conversation on the email.
Thank you!
Hello,
I believe that was downloaded only the theme and not the full package.
I just downloaded the theme package and after I unzipped I got this content -> https://i.imgur.com/2K3kMsi.png
How to update the theme
Thank you!
Hello muktipolice,
That is a recommendation from WordPress in Site Health Status.
What you can do for this is to use an object cache that will apply on amp. If you want you can try the Memcached (that is recommended in that description).
Here is a similar topic -> https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-enable-persistent-object-in-amp-plugin/
Thank you!
