Hi SteveWA, please ensure that you are using the latest theme version 12.7.4 if have an old version, make a full backup and update the theme and theme plugins. If you are already at version 12.7.4, please disable and delete all theme plugins you are currently use and after that reinstall the theme from Newspaper > plugins

You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)” most of the time the problem is from a shortcode that is not compatible with our theme or a plugin conflict, therefore after you set it with tagDiv Composer and save the page, the next time when you try to edit it, you’ll get that error.
If is only for one page, this is from some settings/shortcodes set on it and it can be fixed using the page revision https://wordpress.com/support/page-post-revisions/

The theme itself does not have this kind of option, it indeed provides backups for the theme settings of the theme panel, but not the website and database. These kinds of services can be provided by the host but you can also use dedicated plugins for backups:

This depends on the code you have set in the MU plugin. It’s possible that the code behaves differently with a standard WordPress theme compared to our theme.
Please try a test by disabling all theme plugins and check whether the behavior is the same when using our theme. If it is, this means that one of the theme plugins is overriding the theme code most likely tagDiv Composer or tagDiv Cloud Library.

To achieve this, you need to add a block on your website and configure it to display only one article. Make sure the block is sorted by latest, and assign it the class “cls-live”.
With this setup, the result will apply only to the most recent post, as you described.
Unfortunately, there is no option to automatically apply this behavior to all blocks that display the latest article. You will need to use the method described above for each block.
