Thank you for responding. I appreciate the links to set this up. I’m wondering if anyone using the Newspaper theme has an actively engaged community on their news site.

I host with Godaddy (primarily) and am concerned with the resource pull slowing the website down from all the avatar image uploads.

I would love to create an engaged community but don’t want to slow the site down or use up available resources.

Also, how does the sign-in that comes with Newspaper integrate with Buddypress/bbpress?

I don’t see how to delete a submission. I just found it.

I just uploaded the WP User Avatar plugin by Flippercode and it is also deactivating. I emailed support a few days ago but have not heard back yet.

Found the answer to this in the forums. The default image setting was set on Thumbnail instead of Full Size. Fixed it instantly.

Did Tagdiv Newspaper design templates for the email sign up? If so, how do I access those templates?

Actually you just paste the Revolution Slider alias code into the theme panel.

I am having the same issue. I have re-saved the permalinks, deactivated and reactivated the tagdiv plugins, and I am not able to load a template. I keep getting the message that some of the images failed to load.

I did not save the section using the black rectangular “Save Row” Button. I used the top icon of an old fashioned computer disk.

I am not able to see the rest of the box where it shows the word “Remove”. How do I pull the TagDiv Composer box out so I can see more of the options?

I am trying to modify the background image of the Contact page which I downloaded from Tagdiv’s predefined page gallery. Also, I cannot see the entire editor box in the TagDiv Editor and do not see a way to enlarge it.

Thank you so much for your input on this. I am more concerned about all the profiles added when people add images of themselves than I am about the core plugin. I just wonder how people are using it for news sites. There is so much you can do with Buddypress.

On the homepage of nashvillechristianvoice.com, underneath the category, “WORLD” is the background word “RETRO”. I would like to change the word Retro and I do not see how to change that.

I too, had difficulty finding Revolution Slider in this theme. I ended up using a copy of it from another theme. When I attempt to upload the demo content from Newspaper=politcs.zip I get this message: Error: slider_export.txt does not exist!

I am not able to get any of the big grids to work on my homepage. I have deleted it and put different big grids in many times and it’s not working.

Hi GDMAG, Thanks for answering this post. Could I ask, how did you create the mobile apps? I saw that there are WordPress themes available in Envato that can be uploaded as a mobile app. I also see that there are many companies out there who created a drag and drop method of creating a mobile app, but from what I understand, you have to use their hosting and it can be pricey. I’m a relatively new startup and just looking for a one page app that will show up in the Apple store and that takes people to the website. I manage the website but do not do html coding. Thanks for your help!

I set up SEO Yaoast plugin and gave it a while to take effect, but the links are still not bringing up images and excerpts.
