Hi,
That is the theme folder. There would be no reason for Google to access those URLs, from what I can find online
– https://wordpress.org/support/topic/google-search-console-reporting-a-500-error-on-my-theme-folder/
– https://www.rankya.com/wordpress/how-to-fix-index-coverage-issue-server-error-5xx/
– https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/312292/how-to-stop-a-500-error-on-the-wordpress-theme-folder
Thanks
Hi,
Are you sure it has to be entered like that? From what I can see it has to be entered in the theme header (between the head tags)
– https://mailchimp.com/help/add-a-pop-up-signup-form-to-your-website/
That means it can be entered in the analytics section of the theme panel
– http://prntscr.com/njei1e
If I misunderstand something let me know.
Thanks
Hi,
Maybe you are using the same setting mentioned here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/adsense-problem-mobile-ads-size-changed/
If that is the case try to disable it and check again.
Thanks
Hi,
No need to activate the WPBakery and Revolution slider plugins, bundled plugins don’t need a license or activation code.
An article about it here – https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/213762463-Bundled-Plugins?_ga=2.148850615.1240581804.1556603480-1715937315.1492175355
Simply install the plugins and use them, ignore the activation messages that may appear.
When there will be updates for the theme we will include the latest version of the bundled plugins at the time – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-install-revolution-slider-v5/
Please let us know if you have more questions.

Hi,
Sorry for the delay. Please try not to bump the post or reply multiple times in it, this will only delay the response on our part as it will refresh the topic date. We reply from oldest to newest.
1. Big grids have some styles you could check out
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-1/
The gradients purpose in big grids and other elements is to make the post meta more visible. For example here is the difference with and without it in a case
– https://prnt.sc/nimb5m – https://prnt.sc/nimbae
It could be removed if needed for normal grids, with some CSS. Mention the grid you are using and I will give you a code for it. Let me know.
Or you could use a flex grid, and remove/change the default gradient in it’s settings
– http://prntscr.com/nje3ye – http://prntscr.com/nje45m
2. Bigger than the required thumbnail size would be better in most cases, the theme will create thumbnails from it, so the original image can be bigger
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-vs-featured-image-size/
3. I could take a look at it, please post a link to where I can see it. The smaller thumbnail looks quite bad in that screenshot.
4. You can use the format you want and think best. Here are some topics about it
– https://codex.wordpress.org/Image_Size_and_Quality
– https://www.a2hosting.com/blog/pngs-vs-jpegs/
– https://www.labnol.org/software/tutorials/jpeg-vs-png-image-quality-or-bandwidth/5385/

Let me know.
Thanks
Seems I missed that, sorry for the inconvenience. After you get to the result from above you could use some CSS to further style it – http://prntscr.com/njdyin
For the text with title I used these settings – http://prntscr.com/njdzc6
The CSS code is here
.td_block_text_with_title .td-pulldown-size {
border-bottom: 3px solid black;
border-radius: 5px 5px 0 0;
width:100%;
}
.td_block_text_with_title .block-title {
border-bottom: none;
}
Let me know if you have more questions.
Hi,
You have to remove the elements that are set to appear when the header is sticky. Edit the header and activate the sticky mode – http://prntscr.com/njdq41 then remove all the elements that are in sticky mode. The same for the mobile sticky mode. Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
By default the subtitle is a paragraph. I tried to change it to a h2 by editing the post template file the post is using in my case (template 1)- http://prntscr.com/njdf0q
The design seems to remain the same – http://prntscr.com/njdfcy because the CSS applies to the class not the HTML tag.
This can’t be done by a theme setting, only by modifying the post template files. After the 9.7 update they are located in the tagDiv composer plugin – http://prntscr.com/njdg2j
Only the default post template remained in the theme folder – http://prntscr.com/njdgjw
So depending on the post template used, you could modify the files and make the subtitle be a h2 instead of a paragraph.
Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
I could take a look, please post a link to the website. Block 15 in a full row will indeed show 5 posts per row – http://prntscr.com/njdaw5 while on mobile it will show 2 posts
– http://prntscr.com/njdbc5
If it doesn’t look like this, there may be a problem. Let me know.
Thanks
Hi,
Sorry for the delay. That would be a common WordPress issue, there are various suggestions and solutions online to try and see why this is happening. Even the hosting provider may have an idea what the problem is.
But the easiest and quickest solution would be to install the plugin a different way. By FTP for example
– https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/step-by-step-guide-to-install-a-wordpress-plugin-for-beginners/
– https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-manually-update-wordpress-plugins-via-ftp/
It could be an issue with curl with your hosting setup. You could contact the hosting provider, they may be able to help. Or simply install the plugin manually by FTP for example. All the plugins are provided in the theme package – http://prntscr.com/njd79d
Thanks
Hi,
Please also check if the wp-debug is set to false in the wp-config file
– https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-requirements/
What theme version are you using? if it is an older version it may not work properly with PHP 7.
If none of these apply to this case, we could take a look. Send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel or FTP if possible. Let us know.
Thanks
Hi,
Many of the theme files are now in the tagDiv composer plugin, including the header template files. This has happened after the 9.7 update, here is an article about it
– https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/
So now the header files are here – http://prntscr.com/njd2d3
This also means these files can’t be modified in a child theme anymore, as it was possible before, only directly in the plugin.
Maybe you could use the header builder and a cloud header template to do what is needed. The header can now be built with the tagDiv composer
– https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-customize-the-header-manager/
There are headers built by us that you can modify and use, or build your own using the header builder elements – http://prntscr.com/nfnapk
– https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Headers
So adding a block in the header would be a matter of drag and drop. You could experiment with these cloud header templates, maybe it is possible to do what you want using them. Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
From what I know there are plans to make this plugin more compatible with the theme for easier integration, in a future update. Due to the recent updates however, this has become harder, we will try to find a solution for it
– https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/
After theme update 9.7 many of the theme files have been moved in the tagDiv composer plugin, so the modifications would have to be done there now. The single files are here
– http://prntscr.com/njcz7o
Thanks
Hi,
I tried changing the permalink structure as you mention, as a quick test
– http://prntscr.com/njcvlb
Then I tried importing cloud templates, seems to work – http://prntscr.com/njcvxj
Maybe something in the htaccess file is causing it when the permalinks are set like that, you could check what code is present in it. The cloud templates should work regardless of how the permalinks are set.
I should also note that this may be a coincidence, there was a problem with the cloud server in the past day, the result is that the cloud library could not be accessed. It could be that the time you tried the server was down, and it isn’t related to the permalinks. Let me know if the problem remains.
Thanks
Hi,
That may happen in some cases, from what I can find online mostly with images from smartphones. Here are some suggestions you could try to fix it
– https://techphotoguy.com/wordpress-photos-sideways/
– https://stackoverflow.com/questions/10777335/wordpress-doesnt-apply-rotation-to-iphone-images#
Maybe these are helpful, you could try what is suggested there.
Thanks
Hi,
Most of those errors seem to be related to the api plugin, note that the Newspaper theme since update 9.7 will not work with this plugin anymore. It was replaced by the creative plugin – https://forum.tagdiv.com/developer-info/
Please deactivate the plugin and check if the issues are solved.
However maybe you will not need this plugin anymore, the Newspaper theme has more flexibility than Newsmag, so it could be possible to achieve what you need with theme elements.
If you could provide some more details about it will be helpful, I will try to provide alternatives if there are any. Let me know.
Thanks
Hi,
@azeemchowdhury Now there would be no need for code modification. You can use cloud header templates
– https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Headers
The logo element has an option to set a custom URL for it – http://prntscr.com/niq0o7
So you can import a cloud header template (and modify it) or build your own header
– https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-customize-the-header-manager/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Then set a custom URL for the logo.
Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
Which multi-purpose element are you referring to exactly? I will make a note of this and pass it along to the developer team. Let me know.
Thanks
Hi,
You can do that in the translation settings of the theme panel – http://prntscr.com/nipsz7
Most theme strings cane be translated there, or you can even load a whole translation at once like this – https://forum.tagdiv.com/loading-translations/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/customize-a-translation/
Let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
Sorry for the delay, there were a few days off due to celebrating Easter. If you enter just that code there would be nothing to display in the frontend. I entered it as well
– http://prntscr.com/nipqjp
The code is there – http://prntscr.com/nipr08 but there is nothing inside that div container. What exactly is the purpose of this div? Maybe there is another code that has to be used, so it can relate to this container.
Thanks
Hi,
So the general background image you set in the theme panel is loading only in Firefox? I checked the website and I see the problem. For me it happens in both Chrome and Firefox, seems that all post pages don’t display the background image. Pages and category pages display it.
Do you maybe use optimization or compression plugins? If possible try and disable them temporarily, check if the problem is solved.
A quick fix would be to apply the image on the posts with some CSS, for example
– http://prntscr.com/nipo4x
body.single {
background-image: url("https://www.survival-sandbox.de/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/fwOGWBs.jpg");
background-repeat:no-repeat;
background-attachment: fixed;
}
Thanks
Hi,
That is coming from the demo stylesheet, the magazine demo that is installed. Without that customization it would be like this – http://prntscr.com/nipek7
One way of removing this design, is with CSS – http://prntscr.com/nipfbo
Enter this code in Theme panel->Custom code->Custom CSS
.td-magazine.td-boxed-layout .td-container-wrap {
-webkit-box-shadow: none;
-moz-box-shadow: none;
box-shadow: none;
}
Let me know if you need more help, or you have further questions.
Thanks
Hi,
The theme doesn’t have a stylesheet for the printed version. However you could add some CSS either in the main theme or child theme stylesheet. So for example to remove the footer Instagram (if this is what you are referring to) from the printed version the code would be like so
@media print {
/* Printer specific styles go here */
.td-footer-instagram-container {
display: none;
}
}
Add it in the main or child theme stylesheet. You can add more CSS to it, if needed.
Thanks
Hi,
That demo uses a cloud category template, currently the setting that is available in the per category settings of the theme panel to hide categories, does not work for cloud category templates.
Either this will be fixed and made to work, or there will be an option added for the category siblings element, to allow specific categories to be hidden
– http://prntscr.com/nip7vi
Sorry for this inconvenience, please let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login so we can take a closer look. In my tests this works same as before, could be an issue on your end. Include a link to this topic in the email. Let us know.
