Hi,
That is a comment, of no actual importance. You can remove it if needed. The code should work. I tested it like this, without the code the footer Instagram appears in the printed version – http://prntscr.com/njhul4
After I enter the code from above in the child theme stylesheet like this
– http://prntscr.com/njhusy
The footer Instagram doesn’t appear in the printed version – http://prntscr.com/njhvf4
So the code works it seems. Where are you entering it exactly?
Thanks
Hi,
That should be possible with some CSS, please post a link to the website so I can try and create a code for it. It will be more accurate if you can provide a link, or maybe specify the header template used. Let me know.
Thanks
If it’s the same code and you modify the files same as before, it should work the same. Maybe double check the modifications, make sure they are made correctly. I haven’t tried this myself however.
But maybe it would also be better to consider using a plugin for this, this way you won’t have to make the same modifications to the files again and again, after each theme and theme plugins update.
Hi,
I believe there was a problem with the cloud server in the past days. Please try again and it should work correctly. Sorry for the inconvenience.
I failed to see there are issues with the single images. Single image elements placed in pages with WPBakery may display and function incorrectly, when both the tagDiv composer and WPBakery are active. This is known and will be fixed in the next theme update. A fix is provided in this topic, for the time being
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/single-image-widget-settings/
Sorry for this inconvenience. Let me know if you have more questions.
Hi,
That plugin cannot be used anymore since update 9.7, it has been replaced by a new plugin
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/developer-info/
You could use this plugin from now on. Or experiment with flex blocks, maybe what it used to be possible only with the api plugin, it is now possible with flex blocks and grids
– https://tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-flex-block-elements/
– https://tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-big-grid-flex-elements/
Thanks
Hi,
That can be done, if you already achieved a result with two sidebars, for example like this – http://prntscr.com/njh6q4 now you can place a block in the content column, and limit it to a single post – http://prntscr.com/njh66c
Use a block of your choosing, check some cloud block designs as well
– https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Blocks
Let me know if you have more questions, or need more help.
Thanks
So that plugin is causing it? Quite unusual, I can’t say why this happens however. From what I know the developers didn’t make any tests with the events plugin and cloud templates up to this point.
I could add it on the list for testing, maybe they will take a look, but I can’t promise anything. I am sorry for this inconvenience.
I will make more tests on my end, if there is a problem it will be fixed. Quite unusual what is happening in your case.
Hi,
Something is not quite right there, what you are trying to do should work correctly, I tested it on my end. Does it work if you set a different post template?
I believe it is a design problem with the cloud template used, which one did you import so I can test it on my end. Try importing it again and set it to a post, without making any CSS modifications to it. Check if the same happens, could also be some CSS modifications you made to it.
The link HTML is valid and should work but it cannot be clicked because another container is on top of it. Let me know.
Thanks
Hi,
The 9.7 contained some issues, most of which are now fixed in 9.7.2. You can update directly to this version, this would be best.
However if there are problems maybe you could take your time and first test this update in a sub-domain or local install containing a copy of the website, instead of the live website.
The 9.7 update was a major update, there were modifications to the theme structure, many theme files were moved in the tagDiv composer plugin. This plugin has to be active at all times in order to maintain the same functionality as before.
There could be various issues that cause an issue like you mention, a child theme, a plugin maybe, custom code or theme modifications. Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
I see it now, those elements don’t load the image alt and title. I will add this on the issue list and it will be fixed in a future update. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Hi,
I could do that, depends how exactly you want it to be. Something like this maybe?
.td-magazine.td-boxed-layout .td-header-menu-wrap-full.td-container-wrap {
border-bottom: 1px solid black;
}
I can modify it if needed, let me know.
Thanks
Maybe they did not yet make the final update to fulfill the Envato requirements, from what I know the deadline is the end of May. What exactly are the customizations that you previously made in the child theme? maybe there are other ways of doing it. Let me know.
Hi,
There were some major changes made in update 9.7, there is an article about it here
– https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/
If you are not yet ready to take this step or plan to make more tests with the latest version (in a test install for example), you can download theme version 9.6.1 which has the same functionality as before, from here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/important-new-update-newspaper-9-7/
A guide to update the theme can be found here – https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/
The theme plugins have to be updated after a theme update, or they will not activate.
Changelogs for each theme update can be found here (bottom of the page)
If you have more questions let me know.
Thanks
Hi,
Sorry for the delay, there were a few days off as mentioned in top banner on the forum.
Regarding the question, category pages can’t have featured images set, unless maybe with plugins. You could try setting an image in Yoast here – http://prntscr.com/njg617
I made a quick test and the image set there seems to be loaded in a category page source, it should be picked up by Facebook.
Thanks
Hi,
Please don’t bump the topic, this will only delay the response from our part. It will refresh the topic date and move it to the back of the line, we reply from oldest to newest at all times.
I have tested the website with a mobile, for me it works in the homepage
– http://prntscr.com/njg0y8 – http://prntscr.com/njg11u
The menu modal opens when I click on the menu button. Should work the same for you. If I misunderstand please let me know and I will check again.
Thanks

Hi,
The AMP HTML link since a few updates ago is with /?amp – http://prntscr.com/njfux3
So when testing please use it like so – https://superluchas.com/resultados-monday-night-raw-29-04-19-rumbo-a-money-in-the-bank/?amp
Thanks
Some users said it is possible to modify plugin files more safely, something like a child theme functionality. We will try to find a solution for this in the future, and create documentation for it.
So currently the solution would be to either modify the file in the plugin directly, or use the default post template which can still be copied and modified in a child theme
– http://prntscr.com/njftfz
Or reconsider using a cloud template and shortcode as mentioned above.
Hi,
So with the default text it works alright, but when you translate it it doesn’t?
The Sign in/Join button text can be set here – http://prntscr.com/njf1cq
– http://prntscr.com/njf0ls
Then in the login modal as well – http://prntscr.com/njf1we
– http://prntscr.com/njf0z5 – http://prntscr.com/njf152
Have you loaded a translation? maybe something is wrong in it, but you should be able to customize it as needed if that is the case. I could take a look and see how it looks for me, please post a link to where I can see this.
Thanks
Hi,
That should be loaded in the header I believe, between the head tags
– http://prntscr.com/njeuqa – https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/9008080?hl=en
So if you enter the meta tag there it should be then loaded.
Try entering it again (you can use a child theme if you have one)
Then check in the page source (Ctrl+U) and it should be there – http://prntscr.com/njew6k
They don’t specify how long this will take, so you could wait for a while.
Thanks
Hi,
You can set it normally, the theme can be activated for testing as well as for the live website – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-6-how-to-activate-the-theme/
Some features like the cloud library will not work when the theme is not activated, so you can activate it.
It could deactivate when demos are uninstalled, but other than this only manually could the key be removed, with the reset button. If it doesn’t remain active, maybe it is something wrong with the database where you are testing, or maybe plugin interference.
Thanks
Hi,
That would be unusual, there should be no difference regarding the content the block displays depending on the browser used. Maybe it is a matter of browser cache, try to force refresh the pages in the browser (should be Ctrl+Shift+R).
Please post a link to this page so I can make some tests with multiple browsers.
Thanks
Hi,
So the issue started to happen after you activated the theme with the license key? Should work regardless of the theme being activated or not.
Usually composer issues are caused by these elements – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-not-working/
You could try what is suggested there as a first step. If the problem remains you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel. We will take a look at the problem. Include a link to this topic in the email. Let us know.
Thanks
