Hi,

I can’t seem to be able to replicate this issue on my end. I will take a look at it on your website. Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login (user and pass). Please also include a link to this topic in the email, so I know what’s it about. Then I can check to see what’s happening exactly.

Thank you!

Hi,

The system status panel loads a few things, like data related to socials that are connected in the theme, the YouTube video cache, a log for debugging. All this data is small usually. But if the panel is not loading then it could mean that it’s size got out of control somehow.

I’ll have to investigate it on the website. Do you have cPanel or something similar? Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with admin access to the website and also to cPanel. I will check as soon as possible.

Thank you!

Hi,

The default limit of subcategories is 4, but you can set your own limit if you want -> https://prnt.sc/iMCcjxF0MtmF

For the order there are these two options -> https://prnt.sc/4sL-GOCx-7mk Or would you like to order them in a specific way? I think there was a plugin that would allow this, I could test it and let you know if you want.

Thank you!

You could just uncheck the autoplay. The user clicks on the image and clicks to play the video, with sound. If autoplay is selected then the video will be muted, it’s the only that autoplay is permitted.

I’ll add your request to the list. But it mostly depends on the number of requests we receive for it. If it’s not too difficult to do it may be added regardless however.

Thank you!

Hi,

I’ll need an example. Does the featured image appear too large adn you want to make it smaller? Could you provide a link to a post from your website so I can check it?

Thank you!

Simion C.

Looks better now https://prnt.sc/Q6I5pz5wRngv This means you solved the issues already. But in case there are still issues let me know and I will check more.

Thank you!

There are tests that can be made.

First, let’s see if the post template has anything to do with it.

Please import any of the review templates from the cloud library https://prnt.sc/_cIa9xDU8iBl
Search for review to find them faster https://prnt.sc/ixGyLZjQT8n2

After importing one, edit a post that has a review and set the imported template just for that post https://prnt.sc/G35stt_wAAdt

Clear the cache and check in incognito mode to make sure that the post template was applied. Then check that post with the google test. Also provide a link to it so I can check it as well.

This way we can know if there’s something wrong with the post template or what’s in it.

Let me know.

Thank you!

Hi,

I’ll need admin login in order to investigate this kind of issue. Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login (user and pass) and I will check the issue as soon as possible. Please also paste a link to this topic in the email so I know what’s about.

Thank you!

Hi,

In that case you could use the single image element. It displays an image -> https://prnt.sc/ioA4VAOxQTOq for which you can set a video popup -> https://prnt.sc/voTWW7hXbs6P

So initially the image is displayed and when the play icon is clicked the video plays in a popup.

For the video embed element there’s no option to display an image before the video unfortunately.

Hi,

I browsed the website for a while, but there were no errors. It looks and works properly -> https://prnt.sc/M12-sjw_LN_d

Did you maybe solve the issue? Or should I check somewhere specific perhaps?

Thank you!

Hi,

For me the website seems to display correctly, I think this is your website https://prnt.sc/hb5c23ktlMFX

On mobile I see the website uses our mobile theme plugin. If maybe you don’t want to use that, please deactivate it -> https://prnt.sc/EYiK1fqloLE0 It is an optional plugin.

In case there are other issues please let me know and I will check.

Thank you!

Hi,

The theme is not a plugin. Please install it as a theme, from the wordpress themes panel -> https://prnt.sc/o_Tcdfv5Yl3E

The steps are mentioned in the theme installation guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-wordpress/

Please try it again correctly and it should work fine.

Thank you!

Hi,

That looks quite bad. I see you activated the AMP plugin, was it by mistake or do you want to use it?

If you want to use it, we recommend using it together with our mobile theme https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/ The website won’t look broken but there will be a simpler layout and design than on desktop.

Or if you don’t want to use AMP and you just want the same content and design from desktop to be displayed on mobile, then please deactivate the AMP plugin -> https://prnt.sc/tWg2bFmrtRgZ

Thank you!

Hi,

That isn’t possible unfortunately. If you need custom ad sizes you could modify the ad codes directly, it is possible like this https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/9183363?hl=en

Or create the ads directly with custom sizes like this https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/9185043

According to Google the top performing ad sizes are these ones https://support.google.com/admanager/answer/1100453?hl=en#topPerforming

I see it now. I see it’s a background image set for the content zone, and there is a 1 second opacity transition before it fully loads.

Since there’s no setting to disable that transition effect, I could provide some CSS to override it. Please copy the code from here https://pastebin.com/TR1GsHjh and enter it in the theme panel here -> https://prnt.sc/HIjJ3Py7GQrU Then clear the cache if you use any, and check the post again. Let me know if that works. In case it doesn’t please leave the code in the theme panel so I can check while it is there.

Thank you!

Hi,

From what I can tell there are issues with that article. The review meta tags which normally are inside the article and the product schema, are outside after the article. So Google detects that the review is for the webpage -> https://prnt.sc/du8l2pQKOWm9 and not as it should be for a product -> https://prnt.sc/h1UYqRZgwLq6

Here is how it should be https://search.google.com/test/rich-results/result/r%2Freview-snippet?id=yKrxoQ-bP9nBzvPQzXsLlA

So for example on a demo post for a review, the product meta tags are inside the article -> https://prnt.sc/XCiDHqj5m7hV before the closing article tag. In the post you mentioned those are after it -> https://prnt.sc/8vCiKub7T3i3 I think that’s why it happens. Maybe there’s some invalid HTML in the post content.

I could be wrong. I don’t think I’ve seen something like this before. Are there other review posts that have this same issue or is it just this one?

Thank you!

Hi,

I see the images are different desktop vs mobile. Are you perhaps using a mobile page? Please check if here is a mobile page set here -> https://prnt.sc/Dg6pXww2J58- If there is a mobile page set there, then it would explain the situation. These are different pages, you can either use the same images and content in the mobile page as well, or simply not use a mobile page and display the same content from desktop on mobile.

Let me know.

Thank you!

Hi,

I’ll have to take a closer look at that, especially if it’s not a plugin conflict. Have you checked to see if it’s a plugin conflict perhaps? If it isn’t, and it still happens even with just the theme plugins active, then the cause must be something else. In that case please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to the website and admin login, also please paste a link to this topic in the email.

Thank you!

Hi,

Are you referring to a video post with a featured video? If you do, and you want to set a video of your own as featured, then you can upload it in the media library and then set the link to the video here -> https://prnt.sc/dPegBeYqMXd5 Also a video post requires using the video format -> https://prnt.sc/khiKu1tT3J2R

You can also set a video from YouTube if you want, just add the video link in the featured video field.

Thank you!

Hi,

Could you check if this setting is disabled perhaps -> https://prnt.sc/i4Jmyra4dzNl ? If it is, please enable it, clear the cache and check again. Let me know if that was the case.

Thank you!

HI,

Maybe it happens because of the bot fight mode, is it enabled in cloudflare? If so, I suggest disabling it temporarily to see if it still happens https://developers.cloudflare.com/bots/get-started/bot-fight-mode/

I see that while I’m browsing your website normally, I’m being blocked sometimes https://prnt.sc/hQXMybujAehe

If the bot fight mode isn’t the cause, then it must be something else from the Security tab in the cloudflare dashboard. I suggest checking the security events log to see if you can find legitimate actions that were blocked, the reason should appear there.

Let me know if you find something.

Thank you!

That seems to be quite a common issue, there are guides about it https://rankmath.com/kb/display-site-name-in-search-results/

According to that guide Google checks in 4 places.

1. The homepage title tag -> https://prnt.sc/6MZfvcGkSovy

2. The homepage h1 tag. I see there is no h1 in the page. This can be a problem, each page should have a h1. By default it’s the logo, did you disable it perhaps? -> https://prnt.sc/KnqrjwKaG4SN Or if you want to have a different h1 please add it in the page.

3. The open graph site name, this one -> https://prnt.sc/wY_k_Ztn0YDn

4. The name from the structured data -> https://prnt.sc/GN0VVV21eREh

All these 4 should be the same from what I know, and there should definitely be a h1 in the page. However, this doesn’t guarantee that Google will display the name instead of the URL. They say that it can appear, not that it will appear https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/site-names

Hope this helps.

Hi,

There must be a reason why that happens. The plugins are supposed to consume resources, but such a powerful server should handle the website easily. I’ve seen much larger websites that used Newspaper, like 3 or 4 times larger, on less powerful servers and they performed quite nicely.

Could I take a look? I will need access to the website and to cPanel. You can send these by email at contact@tagdiv.com Then I’ll try to find what’s wrong.

Thank you!

Simion C.

I don’t quite understand what you mean unfortunately. I’m checking the website and I see you are still using the mobile theme, and it seems to be working correctly. But if there is a problem please let me know what or where I should check exactly.

Thank you!

That’s great news, thank you for letting me know. If there’s anything else that I can help with please let me know and I will try my best to do so.

Thank you!
