You could try and copy this line of code in the event template – http://prntscr.com/mxrsx0
Maybe that will work. Or maybe the plugin has a view counter of it’s own that it can display.
Hi,
1. You could translate that in the theme panel, translation settings
– http://prntscr.com/mxreyb
2. If that placeholder is displayed it means that the post has no featured image
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/
This means that all modules in blocks and grids will display a placeholder image
– http://prntscr.com/mxrgud
It would be best to try and set featured images for the posts, so that the module can display this image instead of the placeholder.
Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
I checked the website in incognito on mobile, looks alright at the moment
– http://prntscr.com/mxrb9j – http://prntscr.com/mxrckc
I browsed it for a while on mobile, but everything seems in order. I used Chrome when I checked. Is it happening on a specific browser maybe?
Thanks
Hi,
I made some tests with the latest revolution slider, seems to work. What if you create a test page, import a slider from the ones provided with the theme and check if it works there when configured to show posts from the same category
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-revolution-sliders-on-demos/
Also please regenerate the thumbnails, seems the images displayed in modules are not thumbnails, instead the full images are loaded. Here is a guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
Let me know the results.
Thanks
I am assuming you want to add the slider in a page, first you must edit the page with the composer – http://prntscr.com/mxpupq
Then you can add the revolution slider element as I mentioned. Please let me know if you have more questions or need further help.
@jorgeocampo Noted, it will be strongly considered.
Check if the setting is enabled in the screen options – http://prntscr.com/mxpor1
If that is enabled and the respective setting does not appear, maybe a plugin is causing the problem.
We are making some tests since multiple users have the same problem. Could be changes made to the ads on Google’s part since we did not change the code in the theme.
From initial testing it seems that the ads are not served in the desired sizes even if this is request in the ad code
– https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/6307124?hl=en
Seems to affect all 300x sizes. Others seem to work. Also the same happens when using a default WordPress theme. I will try and post results here as the investigation continues.
Hi,
When you set a video as featured a thumbnail will be placed from the video
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/
So place a video link like in this example – http://prntscr.com/mxpirm (in Gutenberg refresh the page after you click update to actually see the thumbnail)
In the post page the video will be set as featured – http://prntscr.com/mxpjne
How exactly are you doing it and what is happening? Let me know.
I should mention that currently there is a known issue with videos from Facebook, it doesn’t create a featured image. This will be fixed.
Thanks
Hi,
Seems to be an issue indeed, it happens when there are multiple loop elements in a category page, author page, tag page, search page. The second loop will use the same post limit value as the second.
I have added this issue on the list and it will be fixed. Thank you for mentioning it and sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks
Hi,
From what I can see at the moment there is only one header ad – http://prntscr.com/mxomjv
Let me know if I should check anything else.
Thanks
Hi,
So you want to create a drop down menu? That is possible, here is a guide
– https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-add-navigation-menu-in-wordpress-beginners-guide/
If this is not what you want to do, some more details about it would be very helpful.
Thanks
Hi,
That depends, what changes are you making and where? The mobile theme uses a predefined template for posts, category pages, author pages etc. Pages will display only the content you enter in the mobile editor, as mentioned in the guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
So each page requires two versions, one for desktop and one for mobile. The homepage on mobile is also predefined, there will be a top grid with three featured posts, then the content entered in the mobile editor, then a latest articles section.
If you have more questions please let me know.
Thanks
Hi,
That is not possible with a theme setting, the modules that display posts do not have such a capability unfortunately. All the theme modules use this function for the title
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/open-post-in-new-window/
You could add the target property there but it will affect all the titles in all modules.
Thanks
Hi,
You can add codes in both sections. In the theme panel you can enter one code, in the AMP analytics you can add multiple codes if you use more vendors
– https://www.ampproject.org/docs/analytics/analytics-vendors
Thanks
Hi,
That could only be done with modifications in a theme file, like mentioned by Calin in this topic
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-menu-social-icons/
I believe this is a request that is already added on our list.
Thanks
Hi,
That is the ajax menu, there is an explanation about it’s functionality in this topic
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/edit-block-menus/
Thanks
Hi,
1. Actually WP Super cache is rated quite good in reviews – https://www.isitwp.com/best-wordpress-caching-plugins-compared/
– https://kinsta.com/blog/wordpress-caching-plugins/
While it may not be the best solution there is, it still is in the top caching plugins. AS far as I know this is the only caching plugin that works with the mobile theme properly. Maybe others do as well if configured in a right way, but I can’t say which one and what configuration unfortunately.
2. I tested a post from your website with both AMP validator and test
– http://prntscr.com/mxn9hl – http://prntscr.com/mxn9k5
– http://prntscr.com/mxnakd – http://prntscr.com/mxnanm
– http://prntscr.com/mxnc62 – http://prntscr.com/mxnc8b
AMP is valid in the posts from what I can see. That message in the console seems to say something about a script. Are you sure it is a script loaded by the theme? What exactly is this script if it’s possible to find out?
This https://prnt.sc/mx7lwd is related to AMP auto ads, how exactly are you implementing the ads? Should be like this – http://prntscr.com/mxnext
That tag meta name=”viewport” is loaded by the AMP plugin in the head, only once
– http://prntscr.com/mxngvh
Where exactly does it appear twice?
3. The menu icon appears and works just fine at the moment – http://prntscr.com/mxngvh
Let me know if I should check somewhere more specific.
4. I can’t say if this will be implemented at the moment, or if it is possible to do with the mobile theme. It is noted as a request and will be strongly considered.
6. This works in our tests and I haven’t seen similar topics about it. Maybe this is a specific situation where it does not work. If you want us to investigate provide admin login as well as cPanel if possible at contact@tagdiv.com.
7. Maybe it takes a while. I will add this for testing to check if it works as it should.
Thanks
Hi,
That demo doesn’t use gravatar, I believe it uses wp user avatar where you can upload an image and use it as avatar, and disable the gravatar.
It is true that the theme will request a 196px image from gravatar, there would be no setting to change this unfortunately. A larger image size can be requested but only by modifications in the code, they can server larger images
– https://en.gravatar.com/site/implement/images/
Maybe this will change in the theme at a future time, as far as I know currently there are no plans to do so. Sorry for any inconvenience. Let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
So with the previous version all was working, but after you updated the theme there are problems with the composer. Maybe the theme has not installed properly, you could try and reinstall it, either by FTP again or by WordPress.
If the same happens, the first step would be to check plugins. Deactivate all non-theme plugins as a quick test. Check if the same happens. If you use child theme, deactivate it as well temporarily.
In case the problem remains, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin access. Also include a link to this topic in the email. Mention how we can recreate the problem on your website. Let us know.
Thanks
Hi,
Please delete the social counter plugin and install it again from the theme plugins panel
– http://prntscr.com/mxajuw
Then check if the problem is solved. Let me know.
Thanks
Hi,
The mobile friendly test is somewhat inconclusive at times – http://prntscr.com/mxagd1
Sometimes if the theme resources like the CSS is slow to load the result may be negative. There is a discussion in this topic
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/i-have-two-problems-in-mobile-friendly-test/
Thanks
Hi,
That looks like a shortcode, with what page builder was the page built, the tagDiv composer or WPBakery? Maybe the page was initially built with WPBakery and now you have disabled it. Some WPBakery shortcodes will not be recognized by the tagDiv composer, so they will appear as code.
You could remove them in the backend, from the code, but do it carefully
– http://prntscr.com/mxae66
Better to copy the whole content in a new page and do this there first.
Thanks
Hi,
That should still work, the woocommerce authors changed the functionality a while back. Now you have to enter the code provided in that page in the theme or child theme functions file
– http://prntscr.com/mxaa3a
If you only want the lightbox remove the other lines – http://prntscr.com/mxaaeu
Then the product images will open in the woocommerce lightbox
– http://prntscr.com/mxaav6 – http://prntscr.com/mxab1y
Thanks
Hi,
That shouldn’t happen, each loop should use it’s own settings. The post limit set on one of them should not influence the other. Where are you placing the loop elements exactly (page, category etc)?
Let me know and I will test this on my end.
Thanks
