@gossiponthis You would have to redo the modifications even if the theme still used the old AMP plugin. After a theme update the theme plugins have to be updated, older plugins will automatically be deactivated.

@kumushka
The current functionality with AMP and mobile theme may change, we are looking for solutions to allow more flexibility. Changes may be made in this matter starting with the next update.

Hi,

AMP is loading but there are a couple of issues – http://prntscr.com/mx9zlh
That first issue could be caused by plugins, there were similar cases before you could check this as a first step.
The second seems to refer to auto ads. How exactly are you adding the AMP auto ads code? Add it in the dedicated section – http://prntscr.com/mxa4zg

Let me know.
Thanks

You could try and enter it in the mobile theme analytics, of this form
http://prntscr.com/mx9twh
Seems to be similar to a analytics code, it may work this way. Enter it and keep check to see if it works, maybe wait for a while before checking.

Hi,

You could set the background color on the row, not the empty space element
http://prntscr.com/mx9r77
That would produce the result you are looking for.

Thanks

Hi,

@borvazq
quite unusual, the header seems to be invisible on mobile
http://prntscr.com/mx94ch
The mobile theme and AMP is loading, the issue is with the header from what I can see. It is there but it has a white background and icon color. Check what colors are used here
http://prntscr.com/mx9714
Try setting them to default or use a different color than white, if a white color is used. Let me know.

@blyerts
I have checked the website, the menu seems to open alright
http://prntscr.com/mx98nu
But the menu items don’t direct anywhere, the links are not valid on desktop and on mobile. What exactly are those menu items supposed to do? Have you added them properly when you created the menu, if those are pages add them as pages, if they are categories add them as categories
http://prntscr.com/mx9arv

Thanks

Hi,

@roobanyadav
Seems there is a problem there, please check the theme requirements guide carefully – https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Check the theme system status parameters, increase the wp-memory to 256M if possible, also the other parameters as mentioned in the guide. Also activate the necessary PHP modules, if needed contact the hosting provider for assistance in doing this.

@marketersclub
Please try the same suggestions if your problem is similar. In most cases 500 errors are caused by low wp-memory.

Let us know.
Thanks

It looks correct. The modification has to be made on the server, by editing the theme files, so if this is an example from your desktop – http://prntscr.com/mx7pod and you are indeed making the actual modification on the server it should work. I tried it again, works as intended.

You can make this modification with the WordPress theme editor as well
http://prntscr.com/mx7ryz

In the composer there is a dedicated element for the revolution slider
http://prntscr.com/mx7nrg
Enter the slider name in it – http://prntscr.com/mx7oa0http://prntscr.com/mx7oi6
Once you save the page and view it the slider will appear – http://prntscr.com/mx7otq

Hi,

That would be correct, most of the elements ion the mobile theme are predefined. The homepage can only display what it is defined in the code, there are no settings for it
http://prntscr.com/mx7k0d
So there will be a top grid with featured posts, the content you enter in the mobile editor for the homepage, and a latest articles section.

The other pages will display only what is entered in the mobile editor.

Now that the mobile theme can be used together with the official AMP plugin we will add more settings and customization options for it in future updates.

Thanks

Hi,

So the category that you used in the mega-menu has other sub-categories but they are not shown. Do you by any chance use a cloud header template?

If you do please chnage the default limit of 4 sub-categories in the mega-menu settings
http://prntscr.com/mx7i6k
This would explain why the other sub-categories are not shown. Also be sure that the sub-categories have posts in them. Let me know.

We could take a look, maybe something could be done about it. The mobile theme is limited when it comes to using various shortcodes or maybe plugin elements in the post content for example. Some may not work correctly or at all.

Hi,

I tried using an iframe from here – https://en.tipeee.com/voltbass/embed/configure don’t know if this is what you are using.

Entering it in a column text seems to work, page can be edited with no problem after adding it – http://prntscr.com/mx74bw
Try entering the code in a column text element, then check if still happens.

Thanks

From what I can find online it is a script that has to be entered between the head tags in the header
https://www.iubenda.com/en/help/1205-banner-and-prior-consent-setup-and-customization

The mobile theme header is here – http://prntscr.com/mx6tfb try entering the code there.
A section in the theme panel for entering and loading code in the header when using the mobile theme does not exist at the moment. It may be added in a future update. So the code has to be manually added in the header file.

@Christian Asmat Vidarte That can be done, it is an option of WordPress to set a relationship to the menu items links
http://prntscr.com/mx6q4mhttp://prntscr.com/mx6qij

Simion C.

The logo will be h1 in these cases – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/h1-of-pages/
The theme will make the logo h1 when there is no page title. For example in a category page where there is a page title the logos will not be h1
http://prntscr.com/mx6nj4
If you don’t want the log to be h1 select the page template page with title
http://prntscr.com/mx6nxm

Hi,

So you want to reduce the space between the post content and the left side? maybe by using a cloud post template and stretching the row containing the post content element
http://prntscr.com/mx6b0r
Here you can experiment with cloud post template to see what the possibilities are
https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Single
They can be previewed and even edited with the composer.

Not using cloud templates and modifying the post template with CSS it could be possible, maybe by removing the padding right and increasing the right
http://prntscr.com/mx6diq
Or removing both padding left and right – http://prntscr.com/mx6dxr
This last one may cause problems because the post content width will increase because the padding is removed. Here is the code if you want to give it a try

.td-post-template-5 .td-pb-span8.td-main-content {
padding-right: 0;
padding-left: 0;
}

Thanks

Hi,

Sorry that we failed to provide you with a solution. I will try to help you.

From what I understand the ad should be positioned above the website header. That is possible by designing your own header.
The default header templates will display and ad in various positions, but none will display it above the website – https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/

The cloud library plugin will be necessary – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

There are cloud header templates designed by us (which can be modified if needed) or you can design your own using a blank template – http://prntscr.com/mx64qu
Once opening a cloud header template in the tagDiv composer you can add an ad box element in any position you want in the header – http://prntscr.com/mx6636 add it above all elements if that is what you want to do. When you are done save the cloud header template. You can apply to the whole website in the theme panel – http://prntscr.com/mx66tp

Please let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks

In our tests this is not happening, that is why we could take a look where it is happening if possible. Using an ad code such as this one and auto settings
http://prntscr.com/mx5nk2
The ad returned is of a proper size – http://prntscr.com/mx5o6o it doesn’t break out of the container or have alignment issues.
Selecting a specified size for mobile works as well – http://prntscr.com/mx5osr
http://prntscr.com/mx5oxm

Hi,

Any issues that we identify will be fixed. We appreciate all feedback provided to us. Now that the official AMP plugin can be used together with the mobile theme plugin, we will add more options and settings for them, in future updates. You can still use the previous theme version and the old AMP plugin for the time being.

Thanks

Simion C.

Hi,

You could still use the previous theme version and AMP plugin, as to when it will become deprecated or the code in it will become deprecated I cannot say exactly.

You could update the theme and use a different AMP plugin as well. We will add more settings and options for AMP and the mobile theme in future updates, now that they can be integrated together.

Thanks

Hi,

Various codes entered in the page may cause problems. What kind of code did you enter? You could try to return to a previous page revision before you added that code, if that is possible – http://prntscr.com/mwuym6

Or if you entered the code in a raw HTML element remove it from the code you mention, remove it from the beginning tag to the closing tag
http://prntscr.com/mwv0sg

Thanks
