Hi,

So with the theme active you cannot create a new page, while with a different theme it is possible? That would be an unusual issue.

Have you tried deactivating all non-theme plugins, child theme, removing theme modifications and code added in the theme files or theme panel? These would be the first things to check. If you already tried that, we could take a look at it. Maybe we can identify what the problem is. Send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, cPanel as well if possible. Mention as many relevant details about the problem. Let us know.

Thanks

@seth No need to post in random topics, we answer all topics as soon as possible, within the allocated support hours mentioned in the top banner. Most important is to not reply multiple times in your own topics.

Hi,

Sorry for this, but note that if you keep replying in your own topic before we reply, it will only delay the answer from us. It will refresh the topic date and add it to the bottom of the queue. We answer from oldest to newest.

Regarding the issue, note that what you are describing would be how the mobile theme works. Each page requires two versions, one for desktop created with the composer or in any way possible in the theme, and one for mobile created with the simple mobile editor
http://prntscr.com/mw64sfhttps://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

If the page doesn’t have any content in the mobile editor, and the mobile theme is active, it will be empty on mobile. Let me know if you have more questions.

Thanks

Hi,

What exactly is not working after you update? Except the new AMP implementation there weren’t any major changes in the theme. Some new features were added and also fixes.

If you require the previous version we could provide it to you by email. Send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and also mention the problems you are having when you update. We appreciate any feedback you can provide, let us know.

Thanks

Hi,

That looks like a recent posts widget, this widget doesn’t display a thumbnail. If you want to show thumbnails you could use a block. A block can show recent articles (f sorted by latest) and also display a thumbnail. You can also filter it, here is a tutorial about the block settings
https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/

Either use a block as a widget, or edit the page and remove the widget sidebar and use a block directly in the page in that location. Let us know if you have more questions.

Hi,

From what I know having a business plan you can upload and use any theme you want
https://en.support.wordpress.com/business-plan/
So there should not be any problem. What if you activate the theme instead of the live preview, does that work?

There was a similar case a while back, the user mentioned that after discussing with their support the conclusion was that the theme is not compatible with something on their end for some reason
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/403-forbidden-permission-denied-our-sentries-tell-us-that-you-should-not-be-her/
Maybe the same is happening in your case.

Hi,

You could check their documentation, for example in this guide they seem to mention that in order to increase the memory you need to add a line of code in the php.ini file
https://support.hostgator.com/articles/specialized-help/technical/php-memory-limit-error
https://support.hostgator.com/articles/specialized-help/technical/php-and-php-settings

If you need help with it, try and contact them and ask them to do it for you. Setting the memory to 256M should be enough for most websites.

Hi,

There is a nature demo, maybe you are referring to the top part of the homepage, the one with the background image – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_nature/

If that is the case, the image is set as a background on this row
http://prntscr.com/mw5t6z
It can be changed there. If this is not what you wanted to know, some more details or screenshots would be helpful. Let me know.

Thanks

@zeroc00l Yes you may, send them by email as mentioned above. We will try to identify the problem in this case.

Hi,

How exactly did you create a single page? That code can be used in the default predefined post templates by editing the loop single files, so for example in a cloud post template which does not have PHP files it will not be possible the same way.

Maybe a a different implementation is possible, by a shortcode if possible. A shortcode could be entered in a column text. Maybe some Facebook comments plugin that have a shortcode implementation can be used together with a cloud post template. I haven’t tried such a a plugin unfortunately.

Hi,

You could regenerate the thumbnails so the theme can create the necessary thumbnails, here is a guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/

Also an useful topic here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-vs-featured-image-size/

Hi,

That is quite unusual, I haven’t seen this issue before. It could be happening only in this case. Is the code appearing at all times?

We could take a look if you can provide admin login at contact@tagdiv.com, also include a link to this topic in the email. Provide as many details about the issue as possible in the email.

Thanks

Hi,

Seems the social counter plugin is disabled – http://prntscr.com/mv393b Try to activate it, then edit the page where the counter is placed, remove the social counter then place it again and configure it.

If you cannot activate the social counter plugin, it may mean that it is not updated to the latest version, in this case there should be an update button for it here
http://prntscr.com/mv3a3m
After you update it activate it. Let ms know.

Hi,

The post template can be set per post, or for more posts at once but only if the setting in the posts is set to inherit from panel – http://prntscr.com/mv35o1

Other than these settings, the post template cannot be changed for specific posts in bulk.

Thanks

Hi,

That is coming from the theme – http://prntscr.com/mv2ka3 It could be canceled with a stronger CSS code if needed. Post a link to where the form is located so I can create a code for it.

Hi,

I tried setting up a row like you mention – http://prntscr.com/mv2i37 then a border on the column – http://prntscr.com/mv2in1
Seems to work alright, the border applies as it should on the column. If you can provide admin login by email at contact@tagdiv.com we could take a look at it. Please include a link to this topic in the email. Let us know.

Hi,

You mean this new AMP ads option added in the mobile theme plugin?
http://prntscr.com/mv2dq5
That option will show if the mobile theme if active for AMP – http://prntscr.com/mv2ev5

You would have to deactivate the mobile theme in order for that setting to not be loaded.

Thanks

3. You should use the mobile theme which is created specially for mobile. For example this theme demo uses the mobile theme plugin with these results – http://prntscr.com/mv1xwa
Now the mobile theme can also be integrated with the official AMP plugin as well
https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/

4. I see the problem, I will add it on the list so it can be investigated. Sorry for the inconvenience.

5. You can use a cloud post template – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Here you can preview and experiment with cloud templates
https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/All
Within a cloud post template you can arrange the post elements as needed. With the predefined post templates it is not possible.

6. For standard Adsense ads, in the theme panel you can choose a specific size per device if that is what you want to do, for example – http://prntscr.com/mv27a7
https://forum.tagdiv.com/ads-adsense-overview/
For different kind of ads like auto ads we don’t have any documentation I can provide. I haven’t made testing with such ads, maybe try searching online for some tips or suggestions.

7. I remember seeing something like that on another website, quite unusual. In that case the ad code seemed to have an inline negative margin left for some reason. This resulted in the ad not being centered anymore. I believe we fixed it with CSS at the time. I could take a look if you can post a link to where this happens.

8. Maybe by surrounding the ad code with a div container and add style to it, like a background color. Some padding or additional CSS may be needed. Or with CSS directly, something like this – http://prntscr.com/mv2cck

Hi,

I could take a look at it, post a link to the website where the social counter is located so I can inspect it. Or send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and include a link to this topic in the email. Let me know.

Hi,

You can enter the date format you want in this field – http://prntscr.com/mv1rqg
http://prntscr.com/mv1s2i

You can see the accepted parameters here – http://php.net/manual/en/function.date.php

So it is possible to display the time and the date, in my example I used this format

F j, Y g:i a

Please see the topic below regarding this – https://prnt.sc/muq52m

https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/errors-after-update-2/

That page you mention looks mobile friendly at the moment – http://prntscr.com/mv1qgt

Regarding the ads, from what I can see raw HTML and text widgets in which you entered a script – http://prntscr.com/mv1pnq maybe that script is not valid. Check with the script code provider to see if you are implementing it properly or if they have any installation instructions.

Hi,

1. No, a theme update will not remove the cloud templates you have imported or created. After a theme update, update the cloud library plugin and the templates will be same as before.

2. Why exactly do you believe you will lose everything regarding the homepage? That isn’t supposed to happen. Pages, posts, theme panel settings and others are saved in the website database. Only if something happens with the database there will be a problem.

To be safe it is recommended to make full backups regularly, either with plugins or manually or maybe the hosting has such an option available. There are plenty of tutorials online you can follow and make backups.

Hi,

I see it mainly in the block titles. In some cases that effect may be visible, this is how CSS loads. The block titles have a default color that is loaded initially, the colors set in the theme panel will be loaded after the initial color is loaded, replacing it. Sometimes the transition between the colors is noticeable.

One solution would be to remove the default color (or change it to the color you want there), but this can only be done in the theme stylesheet – http://prntscr.com/mv1iq2

Also some similar topics – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/old-css-ghost-colors/

Hi,

Where exactly are those buttons located? With the composer you cannot edit the actual post content. Let me know.
