Hi,

What exactly is happening when you try to edit the page? Are you using the latest WordPress and theme, and theme plugins?

Note that the demo homepages and pages are all built with the tagDiv composer, they should only be edited with it. There could be problems if you use WPBakery to edit them, they could be damaged.

Thanks

Hi,

I checked your website and I see the problem with Instagram. There were some previous cases similar to this, the issue was caused by the jetpack photon. If you have activated this module, try to disable it and check again
https://jetpack.com/support/site-accelerator/

Hi,

There were previous cases like the one you are describing. In most of them it was caused by the cloudflare rocket loader
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-search-appearing-on-desktop/
If you use cloudflare try to disable the rocket loader, then check if the issue is fixed.

Hi,

A theme update will be released, it will fix this issue and others. I can’t say for sure when exactly this will happen, as soon as possible. Sorry for this inconvenience.

Thanks

Hi,

@saint71
In the case from above the issue was fixed by reinstalling WordPress and the theme. The above user mentioned that he reinstalled WordPress, then reinstalling the theme fixed the problem in that case. You could try the same if possible. Let us know what happens.

Hi,

Maybe some theme users can help with advice in the matter. Or check some alternatives if you don’t wish to use adwords anymore
https://www.ppchero.com/10-alternatives-to-google-adwords/
https://neilpatel.com/blog/adwords-alternatives-that-failed/
Or check comparisons or pros and cons between the available options. We haven’t made any testing in this matter with the theme. Some more experienced users could provide some insight if possible.

Hi,

That post doesn’t seem to be using post template 8 at the moment, it doesn’t look like the Newspaper theme is used.

From what I know there is no current issues with that post template. I checked a post using this post template on my end, everything seems to be in order.

What is happening in your case when you set post template 8 for a post? it should look like this

Hi,

If you use the classic editor it would be in the same spot, if enabled in the screen options
http://prntscr.com/m7dvlp
If you use Gutenberg it should still be there if enabled in the options
http://prntscr.com/m7dvz3
So in both cases it should be available. Are you using the latest theme version and WordPress? If you use for example the latest WordPress and and older theme there could be problems. The theme works properly with WordPress 5 and Gutenberg only starting from version 9.2, the changelog can be seen at the bottom of this page

Hi,

So plugins belonging to this theme are the only ones that are being deactivated? Are only some of the theme plugins deactivating or all of theme plugins that are active?

There were a couple of cases where the tagDiv composer and the mobile theme plugin kept deactivating randomly, but these were very rare and hard to investigate. A solution was provided in one of those two cases
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tagdiv-composer-disabled-automatically/

Hi,

The theme doesn’t have such an element in the composer or as a setting. You could try some plugins for this, I found some suggestions

Hi,

The solution to this problem in most similar cases, is the code provided at the bottom of the theme requirements guide
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
That code has to be entered in the htaccess file on the server. Enter it at the beginning or the end of the existing code. Then check if the problem is solved.

Hi,

The wp-options table is where all the theme and all the plugin data are kept. From what I know for example after uninstalling plugins, changing themes, the data they saved there will not be removed in most cases. So it may end up being very big indeed.

You could check some optimization guides for the wp-options
https://kinsta.com/knowledgebase/wp-options-autoloaded-data/
https://www.webhostinghero.com/blog/how-to-cleanup-the-wp-options-table-in-wordpress/
https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/optimizing-your-wordpress-database-a-complete-guide/

Be sure to make a backup before making any modifications to the database, just to be safe.

Hi,

So the issue is caused by the child theme? you could investigate what exactly from it is causing the problem. Remove the files you modified in the child theme one at a time, while testing to see if the problem is solved.

Hi,

Is this happening for all pages, even new ones? Could be something in the page content if it only happens for some pages. Content that is not part of the composer or was not added through it could cause such an issue.

If it happens for all pages even new ones, then it would be a general problem. Maybe it is caused by a plugin, or theme modifications made directly or by a child theme. These would be the first things to investigate. In some cases various plugins were to blame. Let us know what you find.

Hi,

@trinaldao
So the mobile pages are empty on mobile? Note that if you use the mobile theme plugin you will have to create two versions for each page. One with the composer, and one with the mobile editor
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
If you do not enter content in the mobile editor for each page, they will be empty on mobile when the mobile theme plugin is active. The plugin is optional, you can deactivate it and then the same content form desktop will appear on mobile.

If the above is not the problem in this case, I could take a look. Provide a link to such a page from your website so I can check it on mobile.

Hi,

That option should only be missing if the theme is activated, check if that is the case in the theme system status section
https://www.screencast.com/t/VTLGpPWM
So only if the theme has been activated would the option be missing. If the theme is not activated and the option is missing you could try to reinstall the theme, by FTP would be the most recommended method
https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/

In case there is still a problem, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login so we can take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Hi,

The composer doesn’t have elements or settings specifically for tables. You could create the table using online table generators, there are plenty of them
https://www.tablesgenerator.com/html_tables
After the table is created, enter it in a column text for example or text with title
https://www.screencast.com/t/xa9aedEce
This would be the way to insert a table in a page built with the tagDiv composer.

Hi,

Some examples would be very helpful, for a better understanding of what is happening. You mean that changing the page template has no effect on the page itself?
These have to be set individually for each page, changing the template for one page will not affect the others

Hi,

I believe a value of 10 is set in this location – https://www.screencast.com/t/sOXriVL574s
That will be the number of loaded posts initially. Then I see the infinite loading is selected for the category, this will load the rest of the posts, that seems to be another 4 posts.
Maybe set that value to 9 or 12 for example, that will produce better results.

Hi,

I checked this issue on the website, seems that when the English language is selected the “turkiye_en” doesn’t load any posts. There seems to be one post in this category
https://ankasam.org/en/category/regions/turkiye_en/
This post should appear in the mega-menu if it belong to the respective category. Is is strange that only that category has this kind of problem.

I would suggest as a first step, as a quick test, to deactivate all plugins except theme plugins and WPML, then clear all caching and force refresh the website page (Ctrl+Shift+R), then check if the post is displayed in the menu. Could be plugin interference.

Thanks

There will be overall improvements made in the theme in coming updates. It is true that the CSS has become somewhat large in size, there will be steps taken in this matter to reduce it. This should have a positive influence in the above issue as well. I can’t say much about it at the moment or exactly when it will be implemented.

Usually and from what I know from previous cases, most 500 errors are caused by low WP-memory, increasing it to a value of 256M or higher if possible solved the problem. This value would be enough for most websites. Of course these errors could be caused by other factors.

Hi,

Does that warning display in all pages? What if you use a lower PHP version like 7.0 or 7.1 if possible?
We could take a look if there still is a problem, send us admin login as well as cPanel at contact@tagdiv.com so we can investigate. Please include a link to this topic in the email.

Hi,

The Yoast plugin should work properly with the theme, it is the recommend SEO plugin to use. What exactly is not working?
The plugin will output the meta in the theme header, they could be added manually if needed
