So the problem is not caused by the child theme or plugins, in the staging website. The website is still not functioning correctly, there are missing resources
– https://www.screencast.com/t/3RJ6gVi0o
The theme stylesheet seems not to be found on the server, so it is not loaded. I suggest you contact your hosting and ask them to take a look at those 404 not found errors.
Regarding the main website, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login so we can take a look. Make a full backup before. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Hi,
That is called the ajax filter, you can enable the filter for the blocks you want
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Fj5V5cZo
Select categories if you want to display them. By default all your categories will be displayed, if you want specific categories to appear in the filter enter category IDs
– https://www.screencast.com/t/5HYUKRnP2
IDs can be seen here for example – https://www.screencast.com/t/yD9bpDxr89D5
More about block settings in this guide

Thanks
Hi,
@Julia white Unfortunately there were no changes made in that regard, sorry for the inconvenience. This is included in our to do list and it will eventually be looked at.
Thanks
This is how I see it now. You removed the customization that you previously tried in order to apply a header background image.
Now you used the image as logo – https://www.screencast.com/t/rchSlF7S0F
The image is responsive on all devices. I don’t know what else you want to do with the header. Maybe if you could explain again what you want to do further, I would be able to help you.
Hi,
The theme has it’s own blocks and grids, which can display your published posts
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-1/
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/full-big-grid-1/
If you tested and that implementation is not working, then it would suggest a level of incompatibility.
Premium themes are custom coded, different than default WordPress themes. In some cases this means that some plugins and implementations may not work. This is the case for all premium themes.
Thanks
Hi,
@jbclot There is a social icons element that can be placed anywhere in pages
– https://www.screencast.com/t/a5q9tqupo
But an actual page sharing option is not available.
Thanks
Hi,
For me it is removed now – https://www.screencast.com/t/lqxVo7cgR
Comment these lines of code in this file and check if the meta still appears in the page source, it should not
– https://www.screencast.com/t/exPovT1jBE
Hi,
Maybe resubmit your sitemap to Google so the website
– https://developers.google.com/search/docs/guides/submit-URLs
– https://kb.yoast.com/kb/submit-sitemap-search-engines/
Also request a re-crawl – https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/6065812?hl=en
I just tried that plugin as well. Removed all products from the search
– https://www.screencast.com/t/aax9Tah02B
They are not shown anymore in the search form autocomplete
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Df65xIjjf
I then made them visible again
– https://www.screencast.com/t/syZ0XgucK57B
They appeared in the search field as supposed to
– https://www.screencast.com/t/QWp8wvf335c
So the same should work for you if you want to hide woocommerce products in the search autocomplete and results page.
Maybe you did not use the full image size and used a thumbnail instead
– https://www.screencast.com/t/graHsimAEo
– https://www.screencast.com/t/E0hQhKRetA
That would explain the low resolution results.
I see that you are trying to display a background image in the header, why not use the theme panel setting
– https://www.screencast.com/t/4oQnDoEngrzj
Also there are settings to stretch the header elements if needed
– https://www.screencast.com/t/DHPJgT3Y2
Right now there is still code active – https://www.screencast.com/t/vespululs
Are you sure the Live CSS panel is empty because the code seems to be coming from there
– https://www.screencast.com/t/XyRfaHUSAJ
Thanks
Hi,
If it works without the child theme then the problem is there. That must mean that you are loading old theme files that were modified, and those modifications do not work with the latest theme. We include a list if modified files with each theme update
– https://www.screencast.com/t/bhJiZiR30c2Y
If you modified one or more of those files and it has also been modified by us in an update, there could be problems.
Try to remove files from the child theme one at a time while checking if this solves the problem. You must identify what the cause is. Also check code in the functions file of the child theme.
Thanks
Hi,
The tagDiv composer and social counter will try to update automatically, there were improvements made in this matter. But still sometimes that process fails
– https://www.screencast.com/t/S5GY30rwom
The multi-purpose plugin was introduced in version 8.5
– https://www.screencast.com/t/mlkROV12BMu
When installed it used to add multi-purpose elements to the tagDiv composer
– https://www.screencast.com/t/wTF8xnOHYay
More options for row layouts – https://www.screencast.com/t/wTF8xnOHYay
More settings in the theme panel, like multi-purpose header styles and others
– https://www.screencast.com/t/rq0Ggj8WhSB8
The plugin (despite being provided in the 8.7.5 package due to an oversight) is no longer required and will not be provided anymore. It has been merged with the tagDiv composer. So now the tagDiv composer includes all the multi-purpose features.
This is a video where an about me page example is created, using multi-purpose elements
– https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0ARTSimnUY&index=5&list=PL6CsDkMaejhr2ExZCO73U11SSVKB9r_NE&t=25s
You can see multi-purpose demos created mostly with multi-purpose elements here
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/select_demo/select_demo_newspaper
Thanks
Hi,
So you want to remove the whole login section or just the Join button?
Are you using the mobile theme plugin or not? I will try to help you.
Thanks
I forgot to mention browser extensions, I meant to but I forgot. Glad the problem has been identified, and thank you for posting it here.
Google should index the posts properly eventually. So if you do not want the date to show, disable it. Then all you could do is wait and see after a period of time. There are no definite solutions when it comes to Google unfortunately.
Then you are using an older version of the theme. Since 8.7.4 disabling the author box in posts will remove the author meta
– https://www.screencast.com/t/lDxo2M7bVi
Before the mentioned version it will not be removed from the page source.
Hi,
Please see this topic – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/i-cant-activate-td-multi-purpose/
Hi,
Please provide a link to your website so we can actually see the problem. The theme will try to display the ad codes you enter in it’s ad spots. Maybe something is special about the ads you are using.
The containers you mention should display the ad according to their purpose. So for example a “td-visible-desktop” will show the ad only on desktop.
Hi,
Within the actual post content there are currently only three ads
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/article-ads/
Those would be all the ad spots the theme has at the moment, for the post content section. There is only one inline article ad spot that will display one ad after a set number of paragraphs.
Only by a plugin that can insert ads in the post content, or maybe by manually entering ad codes in the post would you be able to display more ads.
Some theme users recommend the Adrotate plugin for more advanced ad management and capabilities. You could give it a try if you wish

Hi,
Enter the shortcode in a text element. An example

Hi,
Actually I have not seen these warnings before, why would they assume this is a known issue of the theme is beyond me. Those warnings could be caused if you used letters or other characters in the theme excerpt fields
– https://www.screencast.com/t/3RUeGG68LQ
Please check all the modules and see if that is the case. If you used the tagDiv composer which also provides the excerpt fields for modules, check them as well in your pages
– https://www.screencast.com/t/BlZLoLB9D9r
In terms of loading speed, there are many topics and guides that you read and optimize your website. Some of them here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/score-100100-pagespeed-with-newspaper-wordpress-theme/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/newspaper-theme-speedify-your-website/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tutorial-chriss-custom-optimizations-for-functions-php-etc/
We also recommend this Cloudflare configuration

Of course the speed is also affected by plugins, server, and other aspects. You will have to analyze them and optimize the website for a better result.
Thanks
It seems that for this post Facebook sees the needed meta
– https://www.screencast.com/t/sOfVZFHbDG
For the other one it does not – https://www.screencast.com/t/KqgXOPyWz
Also when Facebook tries to scan the page it fails
– https://www.screencast.com/t/MtxPkPiGfKaf
That means that no meta tags will be picked up. You can test for yourself with the tool

Hi,
There is no need to activate the bundled version of the Revolution slider. Install it and begin using it in your website

Hi,
@inaveed I tried the link and downloaded the file, so it seems to work now. Please try again.
