Hi,

I believe you might have the magazine demo installed
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_magazine/
Note that this demo has custom design for the block titles, all the demos contain custom design. If you would like to have default block header design, remove the customization

Hi,

Indeed, the tagDiv composer cannot be used on posts for the moment. This will change in a coming update, there will be changes to how the post templates are created (the post templates will have the option to be created with the tagDiv composer).
The tagDiv composer will be integrated further with the theme over future updates.

We do not recommended using the WPBakery page builder on posts, but you can enable it if required for your website
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
If you use it on posts and the tagDiv composer is active, there could be layout problems. The single image element will also not display properly when both page builders are active.

So you should decide on one page builder and deactivate the other. We strongly advice to use the tagDiv composer. Many future options and settings will be added specially for it.

Hi,

Please see the allocated support hours mentioned in the top banner and also in the sidebar.
Also take into account time differences and exceptions (for the first day of June there was no support – there was a banner mentioning this on the forum).

Regarding the question with the title, what title are you referring to exactly? If you do not like how one type of block or grid displays the title, use another one. There are many types of blocks and grids as I mentioned above. Use the ones you like to build the pages, there are no restrictions.

I see this currently on your website – https://www.screencast.com/t/jqRVoYn5Fb

Hi,

Sorry for the delay, I don’t exactly know what happened with this topic it seems to have been overlooked. Sure we can take a look, but I must say the website is displaying the mobile theme
https://www.screencast.com/t/KMellK6n38
https://www.screencast.com/t/LaEBpmCK
https://www.screencast.com/t/kjXy6KtxG
I checked a few posts, category pages and the homepage with the browser emulator and also an Android phone. Are you still not seeing the mobile theme on your end? What device are you testing with?

Maybe I am misunderstanding something. All the theme font settings are for the frontend, the default fonts are mentioned here
https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/

So for example the font you set here in the theme panel for the h5
https://www.screencast.com/t/en27xKPLn
That font will not apply in the backend
https://www.screencast.com/t/OtFDpLARW
It will to the published post – https://www.screencast.com/t/7n4N5pOgft

If I am not understanding something properly, please correct me.

Hi,

For the missing author vcard errors you will have to enable the author box. If you disable the author box that data will not be available as I mentioned before
https://www.screencast.com/t/3yj4kIfPTcUO

Also check the WordPress forums for possible helpful advice in missing updated
https://wordpress.org/support/topic-tag/missing-updated/
Try the solution provided here as well

Hi,

There were no other mentions about this until now. I tested saving different elements and rows, there is no problem with that functionality
https://www.screencast.com/t/VE7axKWu
I would suggest that you check the theme system status panel
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Insufficient resources could cause such problems. Increase the parameters mentioned in the guide if necessary. Let us know the results.

Hi,

I could take a look if you are having problems with the mobile theme, please provide a link to your website so I can inspect it on mobile and details about what should be tested.
The mobile theme has indeed options to set a different menu than on desktop
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
The mobile menu style will be shown as a simple drop-down.

Hi,

@Midstory
Those kind of problems often are caused by not setting the full size of the image as background
https://www.screencast.com/t/UDb7POsgI
https://www.screencast.com/t/Mjlzcnxg3
Using a thumbnail will not produce the best results.

Hi,

When users click on the social counter they will be directed to your profile page, which ca be liked according to Facebook capabilities. The page where you place the counter cannot be liked.

There is a like button that can be enabled for posts, users can like the posts you publish
https://www.screencast.com/t/gsEU7xm72
But pages cannot be liked. The social counter will simply display your follower or subscriber counts, while also linking to the respective profile pages.

Hi,

Please check again in the plugins folder once you extract the full theme archived package, the revolution slider plugin is located there
https://www.screencast.com/t/SfO4I2AY
https://www.screencast.com/t/3uUoUPFD8zTv

You can install it and import a demo slider or create your own

Hi,

It depends on your code, also the live CSS would be easier to use since the results can be seen immediately. Code entered there could create problems, make it as specific as possible and test more.
Both the theme panel code and Live CSS code will be saved in the database safely, it will not be lost.

Thanks

HI,

The use of the !important tag should only be used if there is no other way to strengthen or prioritize the CSS code. It could create problems with the order of the loading in CSS.
It would also depend on the code used, as a whole.

Try to use enter code in one place only, either the Live CSS or theme panel, so you can keep track of potential conflicts between the codes you use. It all depends on the code used.

Hi,

You could use the flex blocks. These new blocks offer a wealth of possibilities to design a block
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/flex-block/
You can use the flex block layout settings to make it look as you want. For example this demo’s homepage contains only flex blocks
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_crypto/
Maybe you can do what you want with these blocks as well.

Hi,

It should work once enabled in the theme panel
https://forum.tagdiv.com/7-days-post-sorting/
https://www.screencast.com/t/Tnh5AlpcLEA
The view counts of the posts will be used to determine the order of the posts in the block/grid. This sorting method will not work properly or at all if you use caching (mentioned in the guide). Maybe that is the case for you.

Hi,

There are some solutions for the all in the mega-menu in this topic

I did not see that arrow at the bottom, I continued to scroll down hoping I will get to the footer. Our theme doesn’t have such a functionality for the footer section. It can be enabled or disabled only. So you can either display a predefined footer template or a page, or disable the footer.

Hi,

Maybe you are using a much older version of the theme and theme plugins. I believe the row stretch options were added in the 8.5 update. So if you use an older version they will not be there. Update to the latest version of the theme and theme plugins and check again
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/

Hi,

The theme panel breadcrumb settings do not apply to the woocommerce pages. To remove the breadcrumbs you could edit the template file
https://www.screencast.com/t/yMSsrUyu
Comment and remove them there and they will not appear in the single product page.

Hi,

The elements you configure and then save, can be seen in the composer list (at the bottom). So for example I configured a block and then saved it
https://www.screencast.com/t/kuFohkKTq
Now that configured block I saved can be placed in any page
https://www.screencast.com/t/aW9d1Q0pQ
You can save entire rows configured as you want, so you could create a page in no time.

Hi,

If by amend space you mean the space between elements, note that elements can be positioned further using the CSS design tab. For example this is grid 7 with another grid below it. By setting a negative top margin for the one below, it will be dragged up
https://www.screencast.com/t/OIgofAnm9yuZ
Maybe that is what you are referring to. For the moment I don’t believe there are any plans to make modifications to how the grids behave. There could be in the future, I will add your suggestion on our list.

Thanks

Hi,

The website seems to be functioning correctly from what I can see. There would be room for some more improvements in loading speed if you want to make them. Test the website with the Google tool to see what can be done
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Note that mostly plugins and ads slow the website down.

Those PHP warnings should not cause any problems with the website, you could check periodically if more are generated.

Hi,

1. From what I can see there are 2 fetch options, for desktop and mobile smartphone
https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/6066468?hl=en
You could use both since it is offered by Google as an option.

2. Check some online topics, there is a lot of information available

Hi,

If you removed the author box, the theme will remove the markup. This is mentioned in the theme update changelog
https://www.screencast.com/t/UmyVBioNxbn
A missing author vcard may result in missing author errors detected as it happened for you. So either enable the author box, or find a different way to include the required structured data.

Hi,

@OFFROAD
A blank line would be created when the enter key is pressed
https://www.screencast.com/t/pHVbBK867VG
If this is not working for you, then it could be a plugin issue. Deactivate them all except theme plugins and try again.

Thanks
