Hi,
There is no issue currently like that brought to our attention since the theme update. So it could mean the problem is happening and it is being caused in particular cases. The composer version 2.1 improves over 2.0, and works with the theme in all our tests.
If you could send us admin login to your website by email at contact@tagdiv.com and more details about what the problem is, we will take a look. FTP and cPanel access may be required for deeper investigation.
You can test before with no plugins active other than theme plugins, no theme modifications and custom code, if possible.
Thank you!
I don’t quite understand what grey space you are referring to, if you could provide some more details about it, it would be helpful.
Using default Chrome browser (latest version) there is no problem
– https://www.screencast.com/t/IwkoRv3Ygv
In Internet explorer and Edge there is no problem as well
– https://www.screencast.com/t/B4owCkV6
Hi,
You could try and embed a gist in AMP like this
– https://www.ampproject.org/docs/reference/components/amp-gist
Glad you could solve the issue.
1. The black demo is custom made, by theme options it is not possible to achieve that design. It contains custom CSS in it’s stylesheet
– https://www.screencast.com/t/DTn5qT5f
It colors most of the theme elements with custom CSS code as seen in the stylesheet. You could use that for inspiration if you want to create something similar. Together with the browser inspector tool
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
I will try to help you further if you could mention what exactly you want to do, and where in the website.
2. The theme general width cannot be changed, it is predefined. It is not recommended to make any modifications to it, as this will most likely cause layout issues.
All the blocks and grids depend on this fixed width, their design will be damaged if it is modified.
There are row options in the composer to stretch them to predefined widths or full widths
– https://www.screencast.com/t/RlJHQWPbpFHU
Also there are full big grids, which are always full width
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/full-big-grid-1/
Header and footer can also be stretched as you mention
– https://www.screencast.com/t/eDLhcqO6
But a general width setting for all the website pages is not available at the moment.
If you could provide a link to your website we will inspect the sharing issue.
Hi,
If you do not want to use a static homepage built with the tagDiv composer
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Then you could display the default blog page (latest articles list) on the website homepage. The module can be changed in the theme pane, as well a the sidebar if used
– https://www.screencast.com/t/FWSFVRzFOeY
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Jz6o3vwn
Please let us know if you have further questions, we will try our best to help you.
Thanks
There are font settings for the quotes in the theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/bb043mBeijd
There you could set the text transform property as well.
Hi,
If you could mention where exactly you would like to align these categories, I will try to give you a solution is possible. A link to your website and details about it would be helpful.
Thanks
You could check online guides that mention what should be done in such cases
– https://moz.com/blog/how-to-fix-crawl-errors-in-google-search-console
– https://www.rebelytics.com/crawl-errors-google-search-console/
– https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/35120?hl=en
The error could be fixed like in this topic if it persists
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/fatal-error-in-wp-contentthemesnewspaper/
@bdorin There would be no point to have two sets of breadcrumbs on the same page, if you require more advanced settings for the breadcrumbs you can use the Yoast breadcrumbs. The theme breadcrumbs have these settings at the moment
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/breadcrumbs/
You can make tests with the Yoast plugin implementation of breadcrumbs, there should be no problem.
Hi,
There were some changes made by Instagram to their code, there are solutions for both Instagram widget and social counter in this topic
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/social-counter-and-instagram-problem/
Thanks
Each post template style has corresponding loop-single and single files. For example post template style 2 has corresponding loop-single-2.php and single_template_2.php. And so on for all post template styles. For the default post template you will have to modify only the loop file
– https://www.screencast.com/t/a6hJuWlUejq
The date format can be changes as you want, please see this topic
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/block7-hour-post/
Indeed, only through custom code something like this would be possible. Glad you could find a solution and the result you wanted.
@meinsen There is no menu color in the AMP colors section of the tagDiv AMP plugin
– https://www.screencast.com/t/684DF7caMqPd
Please correct me if I misunderstand something.
That would work, if you replaced the URL of the original image there would be no problem
– https://www.screencast.com/t/FuErpsCz
Could be caching, try to clear all caching installed or server provided, clear the browser cache as well.
Thanks
@JayVee Please provide more details about the issue you are having, the result of the investigation in this topic was inconclusive.
Hi,
On pages built with the page builders you cannot set sidebars, except the latest articles section. When page builder content is detected the sidebar options will not be available
– https://www.screencast.com/t/htxYsrrX
In other cases the section will be available. If you cannot see those settings, please check in the screen options
– https://www.screencast.com/t/pw2pWdkfgiT
Thanks
Hi,
Please do not hesitate to create topics and post your questions. We and the community will try to help you as best as we can.
1. The top bar is not displayed on mobile, it is not supposed to. It could be made to appear by custom code only if required, and only when the mobile theme plugin is not used. If you want to show the top bar on mobile, please provide a link to your website and I will try to give you a solution.
2. Indeed, the widgets do not have font settings. You could use the general font settings in the theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/FFyN74StReO
The widgets will not receive the same font settings as in the composer, there are plans to change the widget implementation in the theme in a future update so those settings will not be needed.
3. So the problem appears only when the featured image name is not in English. Maybe the name contains some language specific characters or symbols which cause the issue. You could use some other names for the images which do not cause issues. The most common issues with image uploading would be these

Thanks
Hi,
For what exactly did you set that font for? it should be displayed for the elements you set it. If you could provide some more details about it, it would be very helpful.
Thanks
Hi,
That code would be an example of the implementation used on the live theme demo server. It may be different by server. You should contact your hosting provider, they might have a recommended method or service in the matter, that will work.
Also you can read some tutorials posted by theme users for good results

Hi,
Please check the Envato license specifications
– https://themeforest.net/licenses/terms/regular
– https://themeforest.net/licenses/standard
It is mentioned there the one license can be used on one single end product (website). So multiple websites will require a license to be purchased for each.
Thank you!
Hi,
In the mega-menu you can display one level of sub-categories. All the sub-categories will be displayed one after the other, regardless of hierarchy
– https://www.screencast.com/t/2P7nM0w7rmOq
– https://www.screencast.com/t/lrsLoI91
There would be no way to differentiate between subcategories of the main category or sub-category, they will be treated the same. There is no fix for this since the mega-menu is not supposed to display sub-sub categories in it’s grid.
Thanks
Hi,
The post and comment counter in the author page will be displayed
– https://www.screencast.com/t/dI2fJfPg
There is a margin between the two counters, if it is removed they will be displayed like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/KcNg5q1b
If you plan not to comment on posts then the post count will only be visible, I could give you a code to remove that margin if that is the case
– https://www.screencast.com/t/mAhztkg1OZ1
Enter this code in Theme panel->Custom code->Advanced CSS in the phones section
.td-author-counters span{
margin-right: 0;
}
Thanks
Our email address is mentioned above contact@tagdiv.com remember to include a link to this topic in the email so we can identify you.
The fix for the social counter plugin Instagram is here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/social-counter-and-instagram-problem/
Try the mentioned modification in the plugin and it should work properly. Bot these fixes will be included in the next theme update.
