Hi,

I have checked the header menu, I have to say that it works fine for me. Hovering the menu item displays the sub-menu and I can then choose the desired link – https://prnt.sc/syjpn1
It doesn’t seem to close when I move the cursor from the main menu item down to the sub-menu. Am I checking correctly?

Thank you!

Hi,

Those look like issues with AMP. Are you using the mobile theme + AMP plugins? https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/ If there are issues, have you checked if they are solved by deactivating non-theme plugins and AMP? Usually plugins cause issues with AMP and validation issues.
If you tried that, we could take a closer look. You can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Thank you!

Hi,

A drop-down menu is like this – https://prnt.sc/syjhud This type of menu can be created in the WordPress menus section.
The theme provides mega-menus – https://forum.tagdiv.com/mega-menu/ Which when using cloud headers have quite a few settings, so their design can be customized. You can preview the cloud headers here for example – https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Headers

What exactly would you like to do with the menu? Please provide a link to the website where the menu can be seen, mention how you would like it to look exactly, that will be faster.

Thank you!

Hi,

Please provide a link to the website so we can take a look. From what I understand the logo and the ads do not appear in the homepage header, but they appear in the rest of the website. Are you using the same header?

Thank you!

Hi,

Disappeared from where exactly? The post pages or the modules, or both? If there are featured images set https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/ and you regenerated the thumb sizes that are active in the theme panel https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/ then there should be no problem, at least for the modules. You don’t have to replace the featured images is they are already set for each post.

Please provide a link to the website so I can take a look. Or send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login as well. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Thank you!

Hi,

That would be the intent loading for posts https://tagdiv.com/infinite-loading-for-single-posts/ You can disable it by editing the cloud post template with the composer https://prnt.sc/syjbhx

Thank you!

Hi,

We haven’t tested such plugins, but you could try some, make some tests, for example https://www.wpsolver.com/facebook-popup-plugins/
Also maybe some theme users can provide some suggestions or recommendations.

Thank you!

Hi,

You could search online for some guides, maybe there are suggestions or solutions from other WordPress users that intended to do the same thing.
Maybe there are also plugins that could do it by category, try free plugins if possible. With plugins it may be easier. I haven’t tried something like this unfortunately.

Thank you!

Hi,

I see you use Yoast. Please check if you maybe disabled the author archives in the Yoast SEO plugin – https://prnt.sc/syj1ws

Thank you!

Hi,

So you mean social buttons to share the post from the module? The theme doesn’t provide this unfortunately. The posts can en shared only from the post page, not from modules/blocks/grids.

Thank you!

Hi,

From what I can see there is no avatar or author image set. Are you setting one for the author in the WordPress user profile page? Please check.

Thank you!

Hi,

Normally the theme will keep a cache that will refresh every 3 hours, the Instagram content will be displayed from that cache. This way the limit set by Instagram for the requests should not be reached.
Maybe that cache is not working correctly for you, and the requests are exceeding the limit Instagram sets. They will then block them for a while.
Have you maybe tried some Instagram feed plugins to see if they work correctly?

Thank you!

Hi,

The mobile theme uses 2 modules, they are located in the composer plugin
https://prnt.sc/r41x8o
They are set to display 2 thumb sizes, from the ones the theme creates automatically. One for the grids and one for the smaller module.

I should note that the modifications required for this will have to be made in the composer files, that is the only way to change the thumb the mobile modules use. This means that the modifications will be lost after a theme update and will have to be made again.

Thanks

Hi,

@silverspork
Are you using a footer page? plugins may detect it and display their content there as well. Or does it appear doubled right after the post content?

One solution would be to remove the extra content with CSS, I could give it a try if you should consider it, provide a link to where this happens.

Thanks

Hi,

The mobile theme uses predefined thumb sizes, they can’t be changed, but basically all the thumbs the theme creates are cropped center top. This was decided to be the best overall solution.

There are ways to add a custom thumb and crop it differently
https://forum.tagdiv.com/td_api_thumbadd/
and then modify the mobile theme modules to use that thumb. Or update the existing thumb
https://forum.tagdiv.com/td_api_thumbupdate/
This would be the only way to display differnttly cropped thumbs in the mobile theme modules.

Hi,

The option to edit the footer template will be removed in coming updates. The correct way to edit the footer template is to set it for example in the theme panel, in general
https://prnt.sc/r3jbu4
Then if you would like to edit it, edit a page or a template that uses it, like the homepage for example – https://prnt.sc/r3jcsr

Hi,

From what I can see the header looks like this on desktop – https://prnt.sc/r3j7ki

On mobile I see you have activated the mobile theme, so the mobile theme header will be displayed – https://prnt.sc/r3j94j but I see it looks broken. Are you using any custom CSS in the theme panel? Please check.

If there is no custom CSS, then we could take a closer look at it. Send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Hi,

What exactly does that consist of? Mention some more details about it and I will add the request on the list. Let me know.

Hi,

Maybe you solved the problem, let us know if you have more questions.

Hi,

1. When clicking on the elements in the page or template, the left sidebar should display the options for it. If that is not happening, then there is a problem. Does it work correctly in a new page? Was the page built entirely with the composer?
2. Did you make any modifications to the code of the page in the backend? This may happen if the page is broken, or there were modifications to its code – https://prnt.sc/r3iyfp

If these issues are happening only in a specific page, then you could try and restore an older revision, before the problems happened – https://prnt.sc/r3iz6h
If it’s happening for all the pages, even new ones, we could take a closer look. Send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login.

Thanks

Hi,

That may happen when WPBakery is active. Are you using that builder as well? If not, you could deactivate it and the composer should work fine and allow you to set the needed images.

Thanks

Hi,

The top menu won’t be displayed on mobile, for the predefined header templates. I could provide a code to make it visible if that is what you want, it will look like this – https://prnt.sc/r3iszd
Here is the code – https://pastebin.com/bzD7vxpP it can be entered in the custom CSS section of the theme panel.

Or you can use a cloud header template, and design it as you want for mobile
https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/
