Hi,

You could inspect the elements with the browser inspector, see why they display like that
https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
Create code to style the elements as you wish. I cannot see the messages since I cannot make them appear.

Thanks

Hi,

Seems my colleague made a mistake writing the email address, it should be contact@tagdiv.com please send the email there. Sorry for this unintentional error and thank you for understanding.

Hi,

Seems to work from what I can see, regardless of the errors. The are some issues with an element from the child theme
https://www.screencast.com/t/nGSD3cNJ2W
And also it seems to detect there are two elements with the same ID
https://www.screencast.com/t/TKjUOwkuLr
Maybe the same ID is used in the custom code, you could take a look at the code if possible.
We have not made any tests with that feature, I have no idea how it works or what the solutions would be for a perfect compatibility. It may be needed to modify either the theme or the custom code, but I cannot say what unfortunately.

Thanks

Hi,

Those are the category tags, they can be disabled for each module

Hi,

From what I see the featured images inside the post page are displaying just fine
https://www.screencast.com/t/tleVbnweCNh
In the home there are only default theme placeholders displayed, that happens because the necessary thumbnail is disabled. I see you use module 18, so enable this thumb size (Theme panel->Block settings->Thumbs on modules/blocks )
https://www.screencast.com/t/3NxBCIhY5ch
Thumbnails must be regenerated after doing this
https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
Note that you can also create a static homepage, instead of a blog style

Hi,

There are settings to customize the post title font properties for each post template
https://www.screencast.com/t/Ez3TTvRs
If you require something more precise, for example a specific post from many using the same template, you could use some CSS to do it. Use the unique post ID to do it
https://www.screencast.com/t/6NQtYrz0KgI
If you want to change the actual font, note that this has to be loaded first or it will not be applied. If the font is not used anywhere on the website you can load it like this
https://css-tricks.com/snippets/css/using-font-face/

Thanks

Hi,

Thank you for your appreciation. The post templates that are recommended to be used with a featured video are mentioned here
https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/
Each of the post templates are styled differently, you can choose the one you like
https://forum.tagdiv.com/post-templates-2/
The featured video works with videos from Youtube, Vimeo, Dailymotion or Facebook. In the actual post content you can embed any videos you want
https://codex.wordpress.org/Embeds
So you could embed the video you want in the post content, if it is not from the supported video networks mentioned above.
If you require a plugin in the matter, you can try a few and choose the one that works best, I could not make any recommendations unfortunately.

Thanks

Hi,

There are options to control how the image is displayed. For example if you want to display a thumbnail image as you mention, select this when placing the image
https://www.screencast.com/t/LNW4CusvRg
Then set the image size to contain for example
https://www.screencast.com/t/5cHY49pXg
There are also other elements that can display images
https://www.screencast.com/t/0ubcFKmyI
If there is a problem, different from what I suggested, please provide some more details and some screenshots if possible.

Thanks

Hi,

The sidebar displayed in the post page can be changed for each post specifically
https://www.screencast.com/t/s3dxRSlfLln
Or it can be controlled with the primary category setting
https://forum.tagdiv.com/primary-category/
Each post has a primary category by default, if one is not set by you it will be chosen automatically. For example if a post has only one category this will be primary, if it has multiple categories the first one alphabetically will be primary.
Posts will inherit the sidebar set for the category page in the theme panel, this is overridden when a sidebar is set in the post page.
If there is a problem, please provide some more details about it and some examples if possible. There should be no issue changing the sidebar on a post.

Hi,

I have inspected the website, the images in the posts are displaying properly from what I can see at the moment
https://www.screencast.com/t/lEQfkDaS9Kax
https://www.screencast.com/t/ApjKwE4wU
There are no errors in the page, everything is working fine.

Hi,

Indeed the modifications can be made through a child theme, this is a guide
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
These will not be lost when the theme is updated.

Hi,

It would be this color here, the initial color of the header which gets overridden by the theme panel color
https://www.screencast.com/t/5W5Sjorv
You could change it there directly as you wish, this will fix the issue.

Hi,

I have tested the text background, it looks like this for me
https://www.screencast.com/t/i5cjr75oKT
https://www.screencast.com/t/UExdk74AM4S
That issue would happen if you for example increase the font size but not the line height
https://www.screencast.com/t/GvIMKdUDEs8q
https://www.screencast.com/t/s3MwtXppiw
The highlight also seems to have more height in your example, please provide a link to your website where this is present so I can inspect it.

Hi,

Indeed it seems the layout is broken at the moment, the page structure does not look right visually and code wise. There are also errors on the homepage only. First, if you are using Visual composer as the main page builder, please deactivate the tagDiv composer. When both editors are active there could be issues.
Also try a theme reinstall, maybe the update was not done properly. Try the FTP method
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Let us know the results.

Thanks

Hi,

The images are displaying fine at the moment from what I can see, on the whole website
https://www.screencast.com/t/OA2JjvvyxQGs
Only the latest version is available for download. In order to update the theme please follow this guide
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
The most recommended method would be by FTP, and as always make a backup first. Update the theme plugins as well (deactivate and remove, then reinstall from latest theme package).
Note that in version 8 of the theme, the tagDiv composer was introduced. This composer will be activated by default when the theme is updated or installed. In order to use it all the pages have to be recreated with it. Or you can continue using Visual composer for the moment, and make the transition when you want, if you want. More about it here
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
Also a multi-purpose plugin was introduced, this adds many more elements and options to the tagDiv composer only
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0ARTSimnUY&t=287s
Visual composer (now WPBakery Page Builder) is still provided in the theme package and updates are included along with the theme
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Let us know if you should encounter issues after the update. It is a general recommendation to always keep WordPress and the theme updated.

Hi,

Indeed there seems to be an issue on responsive mode and mobile. I would suggest to check the raw HTML element contents, make sure the code is valid and all the tags are closed properly.
Check custom code if used, this can affect column behaviour as well. The middle column seems to be affected by something, as it looks like this
https://www.screencast.com/t/CXqIcEmkzb
While the following column looks like this actually
https://www.screencast.com/t/PNj4oyEoPXdX
Try removing the raw HTML element and check if the issue still happens.

Hi,

Please note that there are logo requirements, depending on header style used
https://forum.tagdiv.com/logo-favicon/
An exception are header styles 9, 10 and 11 there is no limitation there. Using logo sizes as mentioned will produce the best results.
Also with the header style you are using the ad size would be 728×90 for best results, that is the allocated space for the header ad. The ad you are using is much larger
https://www.screencast.com/t/bXFuhDnorR
I could give you a code to increase the minimum size according to your header ad, the result is here
https://www.screencast.com/t/8TIXdoc9

.td-header-style-1 .td-header-rec-wrap {
min-height: 269px;
}

Hi,

The tagDiv composer is a plugin as well. It can be deactivated in the plugins section if needed. Note that it will automatically be activated after a theme update, that is the current functionality.
The theme package includes the Visual composer page builder, check the plugins folder
https://forum.tagdiv.com/whats-included/
It will be updated along with theme updates.
If you do not want to use this bundled version included in the theme package, you could purchase a separate plugin with license. In that case try to use similar versions as the one provided with the theme. When the plugin is updates by it’s developers, we will test it first and only then include it. More about this here
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/

Glad it works. Indeed that is the PhpStorm editor we are using. It is very useful, we would recommend it.

I don’t recall page builder shortcodes working in the mobile theme as you mention. The solution does work, the same content from desktop will appear on mobile devices, if the mobile theme plugin is deactivated.
In that case the mobile menu bar and other menu color settings can be made here
https://www.screencast.com/t/frwnJxOY
If the setting does not work, please set the color you want and provide a link to the website so we can inspect it. Also on mobile a different logo can be displayed
https://www.screencast.com/t/Pk5KLjfs
Set the logo you want to appear on mobile there, or the default header logo will be shown.

The mobile theme was created to eliminate the use of page builder elements, thus increasing performance. If the page builder elements could be used, there would be no point to use the mobile theme in the first place.

Hi,

You could make the modifications directly in the main file, and make a backup of the file. Then restore it after theme updates. That may be a solution.

Thanks

Hi,

By default there is a margin of 70px there, it could be reduced with a code like this
https://www.screencast.com/t/YwTJ0FJtURNu

.td-404-sub-sub-title {
margin-bottom: 35px;
}

Modify the code if needed with your own desired value, and enter it in theme panel->Custom CSS section.

Thanks

I don’t know what exactly we should investigate regarding the Instagram functionality. As I mentioned before when configured and activated this section will continuously synchronize with the Instagram account and refresh the images displayed. It is supposed to be connected.
The Jetpack plugin will also do what it is supposed to do, nothing can be done from the theme side in the matter. Theme does not control plugins.

Thanks
