Hi,
Very rarely indeed, it has finally happened to me once in all my tests, by the search method. The image appeared after refreshing the page however. Accessing the pages through the menu always worked properly.
I really could not say what could be causing this unusual issue, since there are no errors to follow on the pages. I did not find any similar topics online either, except maybe this one but it may not be so related

Thanks
Hi,
I have inspected the website, at the moment it seems to function properly
– https://www.screencast.com/t/v5I3xfPE
There is no problem accessing the homepage from what I can see. Everything works as intended.
Thanks
Hi,
Using that row layout provides the same results for me as well
– https://www.screencast.com/t/U52Ku73Ia
You should try to use only the recommended row layouts in Visual composer
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
Or create a row layout like this, there should be no problem
– https://www.screencast.com/t/OxPVkCL1baRE
– https://www.screencast.com/t/SvVO99l14
If you are planing to use Visual composer as the page builder for your website, you should deactivate the tagDiv composer plugin. Visual composer specific elements or layouts may be affected by the tagDiv composer.
Thanks
Hi,
There is a setting in the theme panel that removes the author name on posts
– https://www.screencast.com/t/xc1ge2g5
This setting should be sufficient, there would be no need for additional CSS code. If you disabled them in the panel as shown and they are still displayed, try clearing any installed cache. It could be a caching issue.
Thanks
Hi,
Watching the video you have provided it is clear the tagDiv composer is not functioning as intended. There should be no such issues using text elements.
Please try as a first step to update the theme and theme plugins to the latest version
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
After this try as a quick test to deactivate all plugins except theme plugins, and check if the problem is still present. Additionally disable your browser extensions, or test in incognito mode if possible.
We will take a look if none of these suggestions fix the issue. Send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information. Also paste a link to this topic in the email.
Thank you!
Hi,
No need to create a child theme for simple theme customization. That is why the theme has the custom code sections in the theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Iotpalkd
Code entered in any of these sections will not be lost after a theme update, so ther will be no risk of losing it. So simply enter the code in the Custom CSS box and save. The code will apply to the element.
If you want to learn more about child themes see this guide
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/wordpress-child-theme-pros-cons/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
Thanks
Hi,
You could remove the styling the demo adds, from the demo stylesheet
– https://www.screencast.com/t/sA5Mscbzk33e
That will have this result – https://www.screencast.com/t/bx7cZbtZDC
The block header style or title color for blocks used in post sidebars, can be set for each block if you want to use the same template 6 as on homepage
– https://www.screencast.com/t/KLYdllLpU
Thanks
Hi,
The other sizes of the image would have to be created by you, then uploaded in the media library. You can use different images in the ad codes, based on device
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-other-ads-non-adsense-ads/
– https://www.screencast.com/t/yhIdEKqN
So you could create different banners, containing links with images that would be suited for all devices.
Or simply insert the image you have in a text element and add a link to it
– https://www.screencast.com/t/qSjBLMGh
The image will be responsive like that, it could be a solution.
Thanks
Hi,
I really couldn’t say why this code that is present only in the page source would be picked and displayed in the search results like that.
This code originates from the tagDiv composer plugin and is related to the Live CSS editor, from the admin bar
– https://www.screencast.com/t/aqrwdf4Yjt
– https://www.screencast.com/t/JIyGlWMac5
Thanks
Hi,
There is a general setting in the theme panel, but that will remove the post meta for all the blocks on the website. So in this case the code provided above will remove this meta only for the top big grid present in the Fitness blog demo. The code works as it can be seen here
– https://www.screencast.com/t/6jpgwku96pW
Enter it as shown and maybe clear the cache, then check the results. If it is still not working, please provide a link yo your website so we can inspect it.
Thanks
Hi,
The final step after updating the theme would be to update the plugins. You can do that in any way you want. Either by FTP or through WordPress plugins section. Deactivate and remove them and install the new ones from the latest theme package.
Thanks
Hi,
Maybe I am misunderstanding this. Split a single row in three columns and add videos as shown. Or place 3 rows and split them in three columns if that is needed
– https://www.screencast.com/t/4xwjGSvwQg0B
– https://www.screencast.com/t/r7XrxyMCheVx
The text with title element would be the element for embedding single videos in a page.
Thanks
Hi,
@ozgur Seems the mobile plugin is not active at the moment on the website, the default responsive version is displayed on mobile
– https://www.screencast.com/t/iKQJSKorM
When you activate the mobile plugin, a different and lighter version of the website will be displayed instead. Here you can find more about how it works
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks
Hi,
Maybe in future updates there will be more options regarding category pages, but for the moment that is how they will be displayed. Sorry if this is an inconvenience for you.
Thanks
Hi,
Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information. FTP access may also be required, provide this as well if possible. Also paste a link to this topic in the email.
Thanks
Hi,
That would not be possible by them options, and it would not be recommended to make modifications to the theme width. The overall width of the columns is predefined to ensure that the elements used inside them will display properly. Making changes to the containers could cause the elements to appear broken.
Thanks
Hi,
From little information I found online regarding this issue, a possible fix could be to make sure the server and WordPress parameters are set according to this guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
I believe the admin is not limited in making changes to the menus, there are limitations in other matters.
Thanks
Hi,
The mega-menu module thumbnail size is this one
– https://www.screencast.com/t/CE8kXkwkdvk8
An option to change the module in the mega-menu is not available, it will always use the same module and thumbnail size. You could maybe experiment with different featured image sizes and aspect ratios if possible for different results
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-vs-featured-image-size/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image/
Thanks
Hi,
Yes, it seems the icon is displayed properly at the moment for all the menu items where it should be displayed
– https://www.screencast.com/t/FLtxUt7h
The icon should appear at all times, I could not say why exactly that happened.
Thanks
Hi,
The post templates can be customized through the child theme
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
The difficult part would be to create this functionality for the featured image, if even possible. For example how would you set the link dynamically for each post image, I believe this would be highly difficult.
Thanks
Hi,
I could’t say, there have been no complaints concerning the social counter plugin. It’s purpose is simple, display the intended counter. Once every three hours it will try to synchronized the information
– https://www.screencast.com/t/kHZl9A9KvRy
Maybe there were many visitor on the website which used the counter like/follow in a short period of time. Try to monitor the situation and see if it repeats.
Thanks
Hi,
I believe you are referring to the customization made through the Live CSS editor
– https://www.screencast.com/t/CpGwAa5wYI
After using the editor and saving code in it, this code will be saved in the database so it will not be lost after a theme update. They will be stored in the wp-options->td_live_css_local_storage option in the database.
Thanks
Hi,
Please specify what blocks are you using exactly and the layout, so I can try to replicate the issue on my end. Blocks should display exactly as presented in the demo, in all the mentioned row layouts
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/
Thanks
Replied via email.
