Hi,
In the first website it looks like first it loads a small thumbnail of the logo
– https://secureservercdn.net/198.71.233.106/15r.b95.myftpupload.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Copy-of-Small-Cap-Portal-150×88.png
Then it switches to a bigger one
– https://secureservercdn.net/198.71.233.106/15r.b95.myftpupload.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Copy-of-Small-Cap-Portal-300×86.png
What sizes have you used when setting the logo in the theme panel
– http://prntscr.com/ok8p39 – http://prntscr.com/ok8p9h
The second website looks like this for me on mobile – http://prntscr.com/ok8pvm If you are seeing a different logo, it could be due to the browser cache.
The third website in the disclaimer page looks like this for me
– http://prntscr.com/ok8r7s – http://prntscr.com/ok8rd0
This could also be a caching issue if you don’t see it like this.
Let me know.
Thanks
Hi,
Quite unusual, so while previewing it the layout is broken, but after publishing it the result looks fine. I made some tests on my end, seems to work fine, could be something specific.
Does it happen if you try without any non-theme or theme recommended plugins? Or with a different theme, like a default wordpress theme?
We could take a look at it, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login. Include a link to this topic in the email. Let us know.
Thanks
Hi,
The post pages do display the author photo and name, there is an author box at the end of the post, like in this example – http://prntscr.com/ok8fp3
Of course using cloud templates it can be moved in the beginning if needed.
Also they display the date and time depending on your settings – http://prntscr.com/ok8g5s
The theme loads the basic structured data for posts, you can test with their tool
– https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/u/0/
I found some guides concerning Google news, maybe they are helpful
– https://kinsta.com/blog/submit-site-to-google-news/
– https://blog.nexcess.net/2016/02/10/get-your-wordpress-content-into-google-news/
– https://www.infophilic.com/create-news-sitemap-wordpress-site/

Hi,
Maybe I misunderstood, sorry if I did. I was trying to explain that the composer cannot be used to edit posts, so there will be no buttons in the admin bar, only to edit the template (if a cloud template is used).
Once imported/created and saved, the cloud post templates will appear in the selection
– http://prntscr.com/ok89km
You can also rename them in order to identify them faster
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
So you can import as many templates as you want, configure them as needed, then these will appear in the post edit screen. Let me know.
Thanks
Hi,
The theme has indeed templates for woocommerce, bbpress, and all the wordpress templates. For these sidebars can be set. For custom post types and taxonomies there are settings
– http://prntscr.com/ok7wl7
But for the plugin you mention it has no dedicated template. Maybe you can try and customize the template used by the plugin – https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-geodirectory-templates/
– https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/page-design/
Check how the woocommerce template is made, may be helpful – http://prntscr.com/ok83hs
We haven’t made tests with this plugin unfortunately, can’t say how it could be done.
Thanks
Thank you for the example and the details you provided, other users will most likely find this very helpful.
Wrapping the fields in a div container shouldn’t cause any problems, you can set a class to the div in order to apply CSS to it.
In my example I did something like this, I wrapped the whole code in a div with a class
– http://prntscr.com/ojrxr0
Now the field can be customized with CSS, depending on what you need
– http://prntscr.com/ojryay
If you need help with it, provide a link to where the fields appear, after you wrap the code with a div with class, and mention how you want them to look. Let me know.
Hi,
In the page content you can add any element from the composer list
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
There are text elements, image elements as well, adding them in the page in the location you want shouldn’t be a problem.
If you need help, please provide some more details about what exactly you would like to do, I will try to help. Let me know.
Thanks
Hi,
Our newsletter plugin currently supports 3 providers – http://prntscr.com/ojr7pn
You can use any of them. But it is not required to use our newsletter plugin and these providers, there are lots of other newsletter plugins available. Choose what is best for your website and your needs.
Check online reviews for both plugins and providers, feedback from other users regarding them, and hopefully find the perfect plugin and provider for you.
Thanks
Hi,
It could be that WPML is not adding the string. When you select it and click apply is the saved message displayed? – http://prntscr.com/ojqyox – http://prntscr.com/ojqytu
There are cases when it doesn’t add the string, they recommend a max input vars of 10000
– https://wpml.org/forums/topic/cant-add-string-for-translation-from-admin-strings/
I have it set like that and it works fine – http://prntscr.com/ojr01t
Also, before adding the string a page should be set in the theme panel footer page section, so there will be something to translate. So before trying to add the string, set the page for the main language – http://prntscr.com/ojr0n4
Once added, the string should appear like so – http://prntscr.com/ojr5dj
– http://prntscr.com/ojr5hx
Thanks
Hi,
On mobile there will be a different header and menu style – http://prntscr.com/ojqujg
– http://prntscr.com/ojqulq
The desktop header won’t appear on mobile.
However if you should use a cloud header template, you can design the desktop and mobile headers, and their sticky versions as well – https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/
You can decide what appears on mobile in the mobile header.
These are ready made cloud header templates built by us that can be imported and modified if needed, in the composer– https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Headers
You can also build your own using a blank header template – http://prntscr.com/o8vge6
Please let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
The composer edit option won’t appear for posts, just for pages. While the composer allows the creation of post templates – https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Single through the cloud library plugin, it can’t be used to create the actual post content.
Regarding that warning, maybe you use this plugin and you may need to update it
– https://wordpress.org/support/topic/warning-call_user_func_array-expects-parameter-1-5/
Thanks
Hi,
So the images in category pages are not loading or visible? Please post a link to the website so I can take a look. maybe I can identify why the problem is happening. Let me know.
Thanks
Hi,
1/2/3. That would depend on the emailing service you use. Either default wordpress, a plugin, or a server provided mailing service
– https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-use-smtp-server-to-send-wordpress-emails/
From what I know WordPress may fail sometimes. You could check if the hosting provider has such a service and what are the settings for it, or consider using a plugin maybe, for example try some of these
– https://webcraft.tools/simple-smtp-plugins-for-wordpress/
The theme itself doesn’t have a mailing service, or settings in this matter. Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
I could give you a code for it, it will limit the height of the third level sub-menu, add a scroll and also some style to it, like this – http://prntscr.com/ojqej5
Here is the code if you would like to try it – https://pastebin.com/E0uKkAgp
I can modify the code if needed, let me know.
Thanks
Hi,
There will be an update released this week most likely, child theme support will be further improved. I should note that files from the wp-booster aren’t currently supported to be modified in a child theme, this may change however.
The post template files can be used in the child theme, just be sure to copy both the loop-single and the single PHP files – http://prntscr.com/ojq81b
The issue with using templates from the root theme (not in the composer plugin) meaning single, search, 404 etc in the child theme, will be fixed in this next update. There are also plans as far as I know to allow it for the comments file as well, should be happening in the next update as well. Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
You could try something like this – http://prntscr.com/ojaqga seems to work fine for me
<?php if (in_category('Gadgets', $this->post->ID)) {
the_field('test', $this->post->ID);
}?>
So for example if my post is in the Gadgets category the field appears
– http://prntscr.com/ojar9r -> http://prntscr.com/ojarep
If it’s not in the Gadgets category it won’t appear
– http://prntscr.com/ojas1m -> http://prntscr.com/ojas6g
You could give it a try, should work correctly.
Thanks
Hi,
You could do that, the black initial color is set here – http://prntscr.com/oja6wi
The menu item color is in the same file here – http://prntscr.com/oja9e0
Changing them there to the color you want or removing the color from there would be a solution for this case.
Thanks
Hi,
I tried downloading the theme from themeforest, seems to work alright at the moment
– http://prntscr.com/oja56z
Maybe there was something temporary with their servers. Please try again, or try with a different browser maybe.
Thanks
Hi,
I have inspected the posts on your website, for example – https://fanaripress.gr/ipeiros/4-5-ekat-antiplimmyrika-erga-stoys-dimoys-tis-ipeiroy/
Looks fine at the moment. I see the website uses 9.7.4 and a child theme is active. Does the issue happen on specific posts or in specific circumstances? Please let me know.
Thanks
Hi,
Maybe something happened with the wordpress uploads/media folder, or the database. The theme shouldn’t affect the search functionality of wordpress or a plugin.
Does it work if you make a quick test and switch to a default theme? I found some similar topics about media library issues
– https://wordpress.org/support/topic/media-files-not-showing-up-in-media-library/
– https://wpengine.com/resources/troubleshooting-wordpress-media-library/
In the latest update there were mostly fixes, and some new additions, better child theme support, but nothing major that would cause such problems.
Thanks
Hi,
I have replied in the other topic – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/migration-visual-composer-to-tagdiv-composer-2/
Sorry for any inconvenience, let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
Blocks and grids can only be filtered as a whole, not by a specific module in them. If you would like to display a specific post in the middle module of flex grid 6, it can be done in a way. Enter the post IDs manually in the post filter – http://prntscr.com/oj9eh1
The third ID entered there will be the one in the middle module
– http://prntscr.com/oj9f6f
Doing this will mean that the grid will always display those posts, until manually removing the IDs or changing them.
You could also create a similar layout from different elements, for example 2 blocks on the side and a flex grid (1 in my example) set to display one module only
– http://prntscr.com/oj9g44
This way the side blocks can have dynamic filtering, and only the grid in the middle must contain the specific post ID.
Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Unfortunately the product pages and product category pages don’t have layout settings provided by the the theme. For example this is how a product page and a category page display in our live demo
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_tech/product/flying-ninja/
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_tech/product-category/posters/
Let me know if you have more questions.
Hi,
You could use a cloud post template, either import one that we designed (and modify what is needed) – https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Single or create your own cloud post template entirely using a blank template – http://prntscr.com/oj8w3n
In these post templates the via and source elements have an option to make the links open in new windows – https://prnt.sc/o9up4w – https://prnt.sc/o9upev
So this would be a solution for achieving the result you want. Here is a guide for the cloud library plugin – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Please let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
The child theme was limited after the 9.7 update, but now in the 9.7.4 update it has been greatly improved in terms of functionality. Post templates, blocks, modules, header templates, category templates etc can now be modified in the child theme.
In the coming update we will fix some issues with the child theme, this should be released this week from what I know. Please let me know if you have questions.
Thanks
