Hi,
You can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information, so we can take a look. Also paste a link to this topic in your email.
Thanks
Hi,
The blocks were designed to display posts, not products. Custom post types and pages can also be displayed in blocks. There is no option or filter to show these products on the blocks, in Visual composer.
Thanks
Hi,
I have installed and activated the plugin you mention
– https://wordpress.org/plugins/category-posts/
And it appears in the widget section
– https://www.screencast.com/t/s9F8pxYgm
From what I understand this plugin sorts the posts from a single category. That can be done using any of the block widgets available
– https://www.screencast.com/t/MeCoibrJ
You can specify the category or categories and sort the posts as well.
More about block settings here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Thanks
Hi,
If you want to modify the sidebar content, you need to go to Appearance->Widgets and there you will see all your available sidebars, and the footer sections
– https://www.screencast.com/t/WhCTZ1l7omLL
You can enter any widget you want in the sidebar, from the available ones. The you can set the sidebar you want for each post
– https://www.screencast.com/t/J0Ipn65v
Or set primary categories for the posts and set one sidebar for all posts from that category at once
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/primary-category/
If you want to add the social counter in a sidebar here is a guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/

Hi,
Try installing the theme again using this method
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Then deactivate all your plugins except the ones provided in the theme package and clear any caching installed. Then try to activate the theme again manually

Hi,
There are multiple causes for slow page speed. Some plugins are in most cases a negative factor in this matter. There are many optimization guides, tips and advice here on the forum that you can try as well.
For me your website is loading properly at the moment
– https://www.screencast.com/t/9LFpQqwst
You can try to test the page loading speed while having only the plugins provided with the theme active (clear the cache after deactivating all others), and see if there is any difference. Here are some guides that you can try
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/newspaper-theme-speedify-your-website/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tutorial-chriss-custom-optimizations-for-functions-php-etc/
– https://www.infophilic.com/get-almost-100-pagespeed-newspaper-theme/
Thanks
Hi,
The category tag can be enabled or disabled for each module, in the theme panel
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/category-tag-on-modulesblocks/
For the Big grid you are using now, you need to enable the tag on these modules
– https://www.screencast.com/t/WIpPfRdES1
Thanks
Hi,
If you are using Visual composer to create your page, try deactivating the tagDiv composer from the plugins section and clear any caching you might have installed. Then check to see if the parallax option is working properly.
Thanks
Hi,
I believe that cannot be achieved through Css. The only way would be to manually remove the title from each image in the media library. You can find more information in these topics about using code to remove the title attribute
– https://stackoverflow.com/questions/8078388/hiding-title-tags-on-hover
– https://stackoverflow.com/questions/15364063/is-it-possible-to-hide-the-title-from-a-link-with-css
Thanks
Hi,
I have tested the force full width feature and it is working properly for me
– https://www.screencast.com/t/S5y9wQZSH
All the elements in the header are stretching as intended
– https://www.screencast.com/t/26xIXsQxoKu
If you could provide a link to your website so we can see the issue or some useful screenshots and more details, it would be very helpful.
Maybe something is interfering with the functionality, a plugin, custom code or a child theme. You could check if this is the case, by deactivating all the plugins except the ones provided with the theme (clear any installed cache afterwards), switching to the main theme if you have a child theme active. Also check if you have custom code in the theme panel code sections.
Thanks
Hi,
At the moment the mobile theme is not working on your website, also there is a huge number of errors present on the page
– https://www.screencast.com/t/2d0vTYJ3UxnL
This most likely is caused by a problematic plugin, or plugin conflict. Try as a test to deactivate all of them except Visual composer and the mobile theme, clear the cache and see if it is working as intended. Also very important is to update all the plugins provided in the theme package along with the theme updates.
Thanks
Hi,
If you want to insert ads and you are using the mobile theme plugin, you can enter the ad codes in the mobile theme section
– https://www.screencast.com/t/PlElzQWDuaJ
More about the mobile theme here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
If you are using different custom ads and would like to display them based on device, you can do it like this
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-other-ads-non-adsense-ads/
Please correct me if I misunderstood what you are asking.
Thanks
Hi,
Please provide more details about what exactly you are trying to do, so we can better understand the issue.
Thanks
Hi,
Try deactivating the tagDiv composer from the plugins section. This composer is activated by default when you update theme. In some cases it can interfere with pages created in Visual composer. You could try as well to deactivate all your plugins except Visual composer, clear any caching installed and check if the problem is solved.
You can find out more about the new tagDiv editor here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
Thanks
Hi,
More about the available review styles and functionality here in the documentation
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/reviews-2/
Thanks
Hi,
It would be helpful if you could provide a link to your website, so we can inspect the issue with the category pull-down. The filtering should work properly from the start.
Thanks
Hi,
I have tested one of those videos and that is the way it displays for me as well
– https://www.screencast.com/t/lLSmpaWX
This must be caused by some specific videos, because of the aspect ratios characteristics. You could manually set a featured image for these posts, remove the one that is created from the video and set an image of your choosing.
Thanks
Hi,
You could set a custom margin in each of the blocks. In this example I want to reduce the space between the Big grid and the 2 blocks below
– https://www.screencast.com/t/zDaRJPQmrZ
This can be done by setting a custom margin between these elements
– https://www.screencast.com/t/xbha2FAJ
It could be done with some css as well
– https://www.screencast.com/t/B8Mw0WjEVrZ
You can identify the elements on the page and their classes using the browser inspector, and create custom code that you can use in the theme panel
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
Thanks
Hi,
That is created entirely using the Woocommerce options and settings. Maybe some extensions and plugins could be necessary. More information here
– https://docs.woocommerce.com/documentation/plugins/woocommerce/
– https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-can-i-add-buy-now-and-add-to-cart-buttons-to-my-woocommerce-store/
You could remove hide the prices for products with Css, or with a plugin if there is one that has this option. Or search online for modifications to the code that are needed to achieve this
– https://asdqwe.net/blog/how-to-hide-product-price-woocommerce/
For redirecting there could be plugins as well, or code solutions
– https://stackoverflow.com/questions/40946495/woocommerce-external-affiliate-product-image-to-external-link-buy-url
You can search for different solutions, maybe you will find better and easier options to customize the way you want the shop functionality. The easier way would be to use plugins or extensions where available.
Thanks
Hi,
1. The background image for the Mobile menu/Search section as well as the Sign in, can be changed in the theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ScwAfDsYjKZd
2. There should be a Join option next to the Sign in
– https://www.screencast.com/t/N4u3aU04e
Maybe you have disabled the option for registering in WordPress settings
– https://www.screencast.com/t/dlSArAKL
3. There is no option for logging with socials at the moment. It will have to be made custom or maybe through a plugin that has these options. You can find similar topics here on the forum that you can try if you want
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/want-social-login-short-code-on-login-page/
Thanks
Hi,
Like I mentioned, the theme does not modify in any way the logo image used. The image is an image, it will be displayed as it is. You can try to edit your logo in a photo editor and make it more crisp/sharp or try with a different logo. This should provide a different result.
Thanks
Hi,
Maybe you are not using proper syntax in the code that is why the theme breaks. Try it exactly as shown as a test, and double check all the code. It should not break the website if done properly. Or maybe you can find another way to implement something like this, try searching online, maybe you can find similar topics with solutions to try.
Thanks
Hi,
Each header style has a recommended image size that has to be used
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/logo-favicon/
If you would like to use a logo image of a different size, Header styles 9, 10 and 11 do not have limitations for the logo. You can have any logo you want with theose headers
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/
Thanks
Hi,
You could set a smaller margin bottom for the block titles, with a code like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/RugUbv0BHCfg
You can try experimenting with different values until you get the results you want. The code must be entered in Theme panel->Custom Css
.block-title {
margin-bottom: 5px;
}
Thanks
Hi,
You can try a code like this to hide the date for a specific post, on the post page
– https://www.screencast.com/t/bNVSjbVsXM
Just use the post Id that you want in the code
.postid-108
.td-post-date {
display: none;
}
Thanks
