Hi,

There seems to be a conflict between that plugin and the composer. So if you remove the plugin content the error goes away?
Our composer doesn’t actually have a bug, if it happens only when a certain other plugin is used. We can’t take into account all the plugins out there and make tests with them to fix any potential issues that may appear with a theme required plugin.
What you could try is to deactivate all plugins except theme plugins and the conflicting plugin. Check if the issue is still there.

Thanks

Hi,

We recommend the Yoast SEO plugin for handling the necessary metas, descriptions and og data – https://yoast.com/how-to-use-yoast-seo-to-write-an-awesome-meta-description/
https://yoast.com/meta-descriptions/
With this plugin you can set the descriptions you want.

Hi,

They were moved in the tagDiv composer plugin after update 9.7. This happened due to the new Envato requirements for themes. Many of the theme files including the mobile theme files were moved there. They are here now – http://prntscr.com/nrrzm8

The analytics code for AMP can be entered in the theme panel – http://prntscr.com/nrs3mo
But for adding code in the single post page there is no theme panel spot at the moment, so you would have to edit the file.

Hi,

So when you are trying to install theme plugins there are errors. What is the error you are receiving? Does it happen only for theme plugins? Could be a server issue maybe. Let me know.

Thanks

Hi,

A general width setting to change this does not exist. It shouldn’t be modified in the theme CSS because it most likely will create problems with the theme blocks and grids, widgets, etc. We don’t recommend doing this.
There are options to stretch the rows containing the content, for example
https://www.screencast.com/t/II6LCBDb5w
But this can be made only by editing each page/cloud template.

With the help of the cloud library plugin you can now use the tagDiv composer to design templates for posts categories, etc
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
So you can import/modify cloud templates or create them from blank. The same stretch settings will be available.

Using the stretch options would be the recommend way for a wider layout. Check out some cloud templates designed by us – https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/All there are wider layout as well.

I see that image size in the srcset – http://prntscr.com/nrrde2 From what I can find browsers can choose what image to load – https://www.ostraining.com/blog/wordpress/scrset/

But for me it always loads the appropriate image size, which I mentioned above. I can’t say exactly why is this happening for you, or what could be done about it.

Hi,

That seems to be the space for the article top ad http://prntscr.com/nrqpzd
But that ad doesn’t load for some reason. Maybe check the ad code in the theme panel to see if it valid. The other ads are loading properly at he moment.

Thanks

I did some testing and it seems it doesn’t work that way currently, I was wrong. Even if a cloud template and the modified date elements is used, the theme will still output both the datepublished and the datemodified metas. Google will pick either one in most cases, from what I can find online it is random. I believe this is supposed to happen, because it is better to have them both
https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/9253249?hl=en

Even Yoast loads both metas by default, and they could only be removed with code and not by a setting in the plugin
https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/12707

If you want to remove the datepublished and see what happens, the only option is to remove it from the theme code, for default templates in the location mentioned in the screenshot (still possible through a child theme at the moment, might change in future updates). If you also use Yoast, try the code from the topic provided above.

However note that this might result is errors with the structured data

Hi,

@yannc04
Reinstalling the theme and then the mobile plugin from the theme plugins panel should work – http://prntscr.com/nrpqcz
However we could take a look at it if that doesn’t work, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login as well as cPanel or FTP. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Thanks

Should work by shortcode, works for most plugins. I haven’t tested that plugin exactly however, maybe there are problems like you mention (could be a CSS issue or maybe there are errors).
You could edit the template files like you did, if that works properly. In a child theme it isn’t possible anymore unfortunately. Only the default post template remained in the theme and can still be modified in a child theme.

Thank you for the feedback, most appreciated. So the issue was resolved by increasing the wp-memory. We recommend a value of 256M which would be enough for most users.

Hi,

It is possible in Gutenberg if you use the classic element, which has color settings I mentioned above
http://prntscr.com/nrekre

But if you use the Gutenberg heading element it is not possible it seems, these would be the only settings the heading element has from what I can find
https://gogutenberg.com/blocks/heading/

Hi,

That would be the background image used initially by the travel demo, for the top row. It can be changed or removed when editing the page with the tagDiv composer

Hi,

There are a few quote styles provided by the theme – http://prntscr.com/nre4qe
The font settings for them are in the theme panel – http://prntscr.com/nre8x2
You can also create your own styles with some CSS – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-create-this-type-of-block/

Thanks

We could take a look at it. Send us admin login at contact@tagdiv.com so we can check. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Hi,

That error in some cases is related to content entered in pages/cloud templates that is not part of the composer, like custom code or various plugin shortcodes for example.

Or it can be caused by plugins – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-not-working/

Thanks

Hi,

I remember seeing this happen for some users, when they activated the WPBakery plugin. While others have WPBakery active and AMP is valid. Maybe it is happening in specific cases only.
I believe this is added on our testing list, to try and identify the problem.
Could be something between the AMP and WPBakery plugin however, the code that might be causing it is in the plugin – http://prntscr.com/nrdbjp

Thanks

So the number of downloads. I will make a note of it, if it is possible it will be considered in the future. Thank you for the suggestion.

For me it works – http://prntscr.com/nrcx3s the website is zoomed out to 80% because of the CSS code, the browser remains at 100% – http://prntscr.com/nrcyd1
Should be the same for you. Maybe clear the cache after doing it.

It will reset only the license, the option to reset the theme panel is here

Hi,

Blocks and grids can be filtered and sorted. If you want the latest posts from a specific category, use the filter to select it – http://prntscr.com/nrcqh9
If you want the latest posts from one or more specific categories, use the multiple category filter to enter their IDs – http://prntscr.com/nrcqtz
Sorting by latest will not matter if the posts are weeks, months, or years old, the block
will always display posts (if there are any).

If you use the 7 days popular or random sorting, the block will display only posts that have been published in a span of 7 days, from the selected category/categories. If there are no posts published during 7 days the block will be empty.

In case I misunderstand let me know.

Thanks

Hi,

Our AMP solution consists of the official AMP plugin and the mobile theme. If you follow the guide everything should work properly – https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/

In case there are problems, please post a link to the website so I can take a look. Let me know.

Thanks

Cloud post templates are templates that can be created with the tagDiv composer, here are some templates designed by us – https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Single
You can also design your own. These will be available when the cloud library plugin is installed and active
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

If you however want to remove the datepublished meta from the theme, this can only be done if you remove it from the code – http://prntscr.com/nrcl7i

As long as there is not actual problem caused by these warnings, for the time being you could leave it as it is. I will pass this topic to our developer team for investigation. If there is a problem it will be fixed.

Hi,

So you are setting a featured image for the post, then each time you update the post the same image appears again in the media library?
That would be unusual, the theme will use the image set as featured from the media library to create thumbnails. A total of 19 sizes will be created if they are all enabled – https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
But it won’t duplicate the original image. Does that happen if you deactivate all non-theme plugins as a quick test?

If you want us to investigate this, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login. Mention some example of this happening, or how we can recreate the issue to see it. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Thanks
