The first one may appear when you modify the settings on Theme Panel but you don’t doit all the time so it shouldn’t be a problem.
The second one is Disqus comments sync which slows down the page because it tries to synchronize the comments. The wordpress menu doesn’t come with a dropdown, you can check on a default wordpress theme (twenty twelve, etc.).
The main menu current behavior and functionality is custom built, the top menu uses wordpress default structure.
We plan to improve it in a future update, unfortunately it’s not an easy task and we cannot doit sooner, sorry. We have a major update on the line and a lot of features and fixes and the top menu is not a priority for the moment.

Check if the post views are enabled in theme panel, on our latest version we changed it’s functionality, if you disable the post views it will also disable the counting for the normal views and for 7 days post view count.
If you use cache the counter doesn’t update, only the default views update via js, we plan to modify the system in a future update, sorry for the inconvenience.

There’s an issue with the mega menu, if you use many mega menus the image loaded on google share is the first one from the first mega menu even if you set it on WordPress SEO by Yoast – http://screencast.com/t/hbv9EB8TzZiI
We have this issue on the list, we’ll fix it as soon as we find the solution. For the moment reduce the number of mega menus and see if the issue is still there.

Base64 encoding was used on demo data (the one which can be installed from Theme Panel) and it doesn’t contain any security treating code.

On the first issue – did you used a random sort order on that block? if you didn’t do you use unique articles on page? You can also try to disable all plugins and see if the issue is still there.

Did you tried this with another theme, to check if the theme has some sort of incompatibility with your setup. You can also check the error logs to see if there’s something which can point to the cause of the error.
