Hi,
@Dafunda.com – thanks for reporting this.
Yoast uses the old data-vocabulary http://www.data-vocabulary.org/ which is deprecated but still works.
Google now recommends using schema.org which is also implemented in our theme, a head to head example can be found here – http://pastebin.com/G0cLFpw9
On structured data testing tool everything seems fine and there are no errors reported, but their live engine seem to interpret this differently.
We’re experimenting with the other options provided on the google documentation, waiting to see real results.
An update will be issued as soon as possible.
Thank you!
Hi,
The image may be too small or it’s not regenerated.
For regeneration use Force Regenerate Thumbnails plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/force-regenerate-thumbnails/
If this doesn’t help you have to use a larger image or use a plugin like Thumbnail Upscale – https://wordpress.org/plugins/thumbnail-upscale/
More details about this can be found here (scroll down to Uploaded Image Size chapter) – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-theme-thumbs/
Thank you!
Hi,
Also check if this issue comes from a plugin. Disable all plugins and try to upload a file. If it works, enable the plugins one by one and test until you find the one that’s causing this issue.
Thank you!
Hi,
Make sure you installed the correct file.
Unzip the file downloaded from Themeforest, the theme Newsmag.zip file can be found in it along with other stuff like plugins, PSD files, etc. – http://screencast.com/t/Onxu2GonyK5W
More details about the contents of the package downloaded from Themeforest can be found here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-whats-included/
Thank you!
Hi,
I’ve checked your site and i think you don’t have any post assigned to the iPhone subcategory – http://screencast.com/t/YwJVbrStMed
The widget are is empty, i think you may have set an empty widget area in Theme Panel -> Categories – http://screencast.com/t/iQLBM0vqpMhq
Check your Post -> Categories area to see if there are any posts in the iPhone subcategory.
Also check Theme Panel -> Categories -> iPhone to see what widget area is set on it.
If you can’t solve this please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin access so we can take a look.
Thank you!
Hi,
I suspect this issue may be cause by the max_input_vars parameter on your server, the default value for it is 1000 and we recommend that you change it to 5000 or more. For more information about this please check our guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Thank you!
Hi,
Please provide more details so i can replicate this on my side, or provide the site url so i can check this.

Hi,
The top weather location on sevlievo.com is shorter, because of this the other elements in the menu are displayed a bit more to the left – http://screencast.com/t/e3DXQ2HpBts
It’s not an issue, the elements are displayed inline, they position themselves one after the other.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please provide more details. Do you use embeded videos (videos added inside the post content) or you use the theme featured video option?
Thank you!
Hi,
I suspect it may be a plugin conflict, try to disable all plugins except for Visual Composer and see if this issue is still there. If it works, enable the rest of the plugins one by one until you find the one that causing this issue.
If this doesn’t work, please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin access so we can take a look.
Thank you!
Hi,
This is strange, with NOD32 i get no warning. I also checked the url provided by Javid using sucuri online scan ( https://sitecheck.sucuri.net/ ) and it found no malicious code. We will continue to investigate, i suspect it may be a false positive on bitdefender.
Thank you!
Hi,
Yes, it can be translated from Theme Panel -> Translations.
Thank you!
Hi,
I’ve checked our url and there’s no threat – http://screencast.com/t/eKK2CvtM5
I suspect it’s a false positive on your side, check if your antivirus is updated.
Thank you!
Hi,
The permalinks are controlled by wordpress, to eliminate the category prefix you have to use a plugin.
Wordpress SEO by Yoast has such a function – http://screencast.com/t/PFyN81nnh
If you don’t use this plugin you can search for an alternative.
Thank you!
Hi,
Not sure where that comes from, it can be from the theme itself as a custom modification. Did you modified the theme style.css file?
It can come from Theme Panel -> Custom Code or from a child theme.
If you can’t find it please provide the site url so we can take a look.
Thank you!
Hi,
The first 3 posts are part of the Featured category. You have to find the Featured category id – http://screencast.com/t/iFa7XL9s
And add the following code – http://screencast.com/t/2lxjc6GHS
We plan ro fix this in the one of the next updates.
Thank you!
Hi,
Check if those users can login via WordPress wp-admin interface. If they can’t then something went wrong during the user import procedure.
If the wp-admin login works, please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin access so we can take a look.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please check our speed optimization guide here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
If you already did, please provide the site url so i can take a look. If you don’t want to post it here you can send it via email at contact@tagdiv.com , also include a link to this conversation.
Thank you!
Hi,
You have to unzip the file downloaded from Themeforest, the Newspaper.zip file is inside – http://screencast.com/t/82n4nneS
Upload it and it will work.
You can read more about the files included in the package here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/whats-included/
Thank you!
Hi,
Did you recently changed the meta description? If you did then Google may store the older version in it’s cache and you have to wait some time for it to re-index your pages.
I’ve checked your page source and the description seems fine – http://screencast.com/t/rvB5xlLiag
Maybe the description is too long and Google decided to cut it. Ultimately, they decide what’s displayed and what not, and their rules change often.
Thank you!
Hi,
The theme works with AMP but we don’t have a customized version that matches our design.
We have this on our list but i cannot say precisely when and what will be implemented.
Thank you!
Hi,
If you have a cache plugin reset it and see if anything changes.
If you use a SEO plugin, check it’s settings to see if it doesn’t change these parameters.
Also try to reset the browser cache (ex. on Google Chrome – reload the page by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+R)
Thank you!

Hi,
Check your plugins area to see if Visual Composer is installed and active.
Check it’s settings to see if the plugin is activ for Administrators on pages – http://screencast.com/t/33n3OL3W
If this doesn’t help, try to disable all plugins, keep only Visual Composer active and see if it works.
If it does then you may have a plugin conflict, enable the rest of the plugins one by one to see which one causes this issue.
Thank you!
Hi,
Did you use any custom css?
There’s a gap bellow the menu, you can adjust it using custom css: – http://screencast.com/t/IiHq4lq4
.blog-stack .td-menu-placeholder {
height: 36px;
}
.blog-stack .sf-sub-indicator {
top: 16px;
}
Add the css in Theme Panel -> Custom Code -> Custom CSS
Thank you!

Hi,
The easiest way to achieve that look would be to install the demo (only settings) – http://screencast.com/t/Ow5SEbBfsvX5
If you want to modify only those elements and keep the rest of the design as it is you have to use custom css.
Please provide your site url so i can check your current install.
Thank you!
