I have tested this and work in the same way with each settings 1/2 columns:

The css which determines the width of the post content in the editor is tied to the dimensions of the html tag of the editor and based on those dimensions the screen width is detected and the content from the editor is styled (changed it’s appearance).
This depends of your desktop screen resolution as when the editors iframe/html drops under 1023 pixels of width the content from the editor is treated as on tablet screens even though it shouldn’t, this happens in your case also. I have managed to recreate this using your screens resolution and you are right: http://screencast.com/t/HTBYVGlI
As you can notice from the screenshot the html width is around 900px that is why the editor style switches to tablet view.
You can alter the code from the less files/editor style and change the media query to work right in your case, try something like this: http://screencast.com/t/FaTAqDk6
I’m not sure how this can be fixed but I will add this on our issue tracker list for further testing and try to find a solution for it.

Also try this without plugins active, empty cache and purge files if you are using CDN host.

When you sue the homepage with background and with or without articles list page template an big slider (not revolution slider) is added to the page which uses and display’s posts from the Featured category so if you don’t have any posts added to the featured category then the slider will not contain any posts and looks like in your case(empty): http://screencast.com/t/hCVHiObaO

Sorry for the delay!
I have checked your site and noticed that most of the images added in your posts are loading just a thumb of the image and not the original image: http://screencast.com/t/rwTodrMFLM which based on the width and height image attributes is stretched and from there that blurry effect appears.
This could be caused by your recent WordPress update so I suggest you try to edit an image within a post and change its size: http://screencast.com/t/oB3B8nsASbB then check again and also try to regenerate thumbnail and empty cache files/purge files if you use CDN.

We hadn’t made any tests with the latest version of woocommerce plugin. I have been using this version for some tests recently but without going throughout all woocommerce features and haven’t found any issues.

What theme version do your use as the latest version of the theme(4.6.1) doesn’t have an inbuilt version of VC plugin.
Please also note that we provide an unmodified version of the VC plugin, tested to work well with the theme. The theme dose remove though the VC front editor.
Please disable all plugins then install and activate just you version of Visual Composer Standalone plugin then check again as this should work and also make sure that you also update to the latest theme version.

There is no page sort option on theme’s sliders/blocks because the blocks were not designed to work with other post types different from post.
If you chose to use pages instead of posts in blocks/slider it would not look write as pages don’t have an featured image as posts have and because of this no images will load when use them in blocks/sliders. You could try to use the WP Pages widget: http://screencast.com/t/o3PM7KaKGIZ as this has a filter by ID and title for pages which yo can use.

You need to remove it then install it again from the /plugins folder which was provided with the theme files and make sure that you have and use the 2.7 version of the plugin. Also make sure that you empty cache/purge files and test this without any plugins active.

@rparlier I know that the VC included within the latest theme files is version 4.3.5 that is the last tested version of the plugin and for now that is the one you need to use and ignore the update warning.
We will include the latest version of the plugin in the next theme update after we test it.
