As you can see here we tested your website on a mobile viewport too, and after reverting to desktop the website still displayed the mobile layout. This is 100% caching issue. In order to make the site full width you have to select every row of your page using the tagDiv Composer and then set the stretch mode you want like here : https://www.screencast.com/t/BkWwdHh6
In order to make the post page full width you will have to add a single post template and then edit it. These are the ways you can increase your page width from theme options. Anything above this will require custom code.

Well, if you switch off Newspaper Theme with its plugins it will look like that because all the blocks that you have will no longer be rendered. The blocks are created by the tagDiv Composer plugin and only it will render them.
You will have to remove everything created with tagDiv Compose / Newspaper Theme in order to safely remove it.
