Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

Yes, you can either use ad boxes or the ADS space in Theme Panel. Also if you’re not using deactivate and delete all the unnecessary plugins.
