I’m not using wp super cache or seo by yoast. This is also a clean install. I’m running it on a MAMP server. Could this cause issues?

The Mobile theme plugin doesn’t compatible with the multisite installation of WordPress. But here is a 3 lines code to make Mobile Theme Plugin fully compatible with WordPress multisite installation.

Copy above code and open the wp-content/plugins/td-mobile-plugin/td_mobile_theme.php file in your editor, the find 196 number line and paste the right after this “$main_dir_path = $main_theme->get_template_directory();” line.

I was playing around with two AMP plugins AMP by Automatic and
AMP for WP
I seem to have destroyed the mobile version of the theme by installing them, it’s stuck on AMP and won’t revert by uninstalling them. Deleted all caches and saved permalinks.
Is there anyway of reverting the changes without resorting to a backup? Thanks.

If you say that using style.css has little to no effect it means your code is not proper and will not apply. Please use the browser inspector and cahck to see if your code applies to the specific element or there is another more powerful selector than yours taking over.

I believe that the white color is coming from the general theme accent color. Please check in the theme panel and see if maybe you have set a white theme accent color

Change it to default or a different color, if that is the case.
If you want the single images to be more responsive you could try inserting them in a text element, and check the results. It should better results in this case. Like this example

If you want to change the style for your all block titles, notice that you can use a bit of CSS code to do this. For example, try the code below and place it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS area and check the results.
The code is ->

}
Regarding on mobile main menu, notice that it cannot be different than the main menu on the desktop, sorry! If you want to add some links only for the mobile menu, you should implement it yourself through the code because the theme does not have any such an option that allows you to do this, sorry!

Oh now I made an example. I typed the tag for blockquote, and there you see how ugly it looks. Tag disappeared of course. This is HTML on screen and a fool 25 inches in front of it!
I want to know how to make it centered and just black. I can change the uppercase to normal in the themes panel.

I have not joined AdSense and hope to sell my own ads. I am in the process of setting up a sample site to show prospective advertisers before creating the live site (importing from another older format). This looks awesome for using AdSense, but can I set this up to manage my own ads and assign positions and so on? I cannot find where to do that. When I created a sidebar ad (for example) it placed that one sidebar ad 3 times on the imported theme page. I, of course, want to show a multiple of different ads and even create some other ads sizes. Do you have a tutorial to teach this? Or?

Newsmag is ‘responsive’ so what we do is use the normal responsive design for mobile, and also the Automattic AMP plugin for mobile stuff where supported. This made most sense vs having a separate mobile plugin — but that’s me. 🙂
Hello, I own http://scumbagged.com and am curious as to how I can change all of the block titles. I don’t know where to go to do that. Some of my block titles say “Fashion Week” and “Gadget World” – clearly I need those to reflect my appropriate sections.
Regarding the mobile menu, I would like to be able to add additional links just for the mobile viewers. How can I do a separate mobile menu than a desktop menu?

as the new tagdiv Composer now is an officially part of the Newsmag Theme, there are some questions left for me.
As I cannot see an option to use it for posts, it does not seem to be meant for it. Is this planned in future?
Second question: The raw html feature does not include the possibility to insert javascript and php inserts – is that correct?
Third question: if there is no support for posts and articles planned – why is it recommended to just use one of the pagebuilding plugins? There are SOOO many posts – in which I have used parts of the visual composer – for example to insert video codes including ads (javascript) – or for example colurful news-boxes. All these features would be lost, if I simply uninstall the visual composer.
I have built a serious magazine within the last few years. With nearly 3500 posts and pages – some of them are kinda heavy work to edit …
So – lets face it: As of the implemetation of the tagdiv Composer – I should use it – and uninstall the visual composer. To still get things running as they are right now – I would – kinda sure need some extra plugins, which are (very sure) not supported by the theme. What would you think – if you would be a longterm customer of your themes? It sounds like a nightmare of extra-work … 🙁

The ad sections from the theme panel will display Adsense ads. I could not say what other code you are entering besides it, and why it is not displaying. Maybe you are not entering it properly, if you could provide some examples of this code it would be helpful.

1) Sorry but this is not possible in our theme to place articles between the posts on a category page. The theme does not have such functionality. It can only be done with a plugin (i can’t recommend one as we have not officially tested any ad plugins) with custom code modification which we cannot provide.
2) Please also add this code to remove the small arrow:

4)Please provide an example of exactly what read more button are you referring to so I can figure out a solution.
